Hello, I’m trying to add a Lookup field for a Global Code on FSM’s UI Designer, however I’m not able to present the description of this field, only the code is being displayed. Example of the code being displayed in the WebClient: If I change this field to a ComboBox, the description is displayed as expected. This is how I have the Lookup Navigation set up in the UI Designer: Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for the attention. Best regards,João Moura

Hi I am looking to connect to a series of web services with parameters in a  <soap:Header> and  <soap:Body>.Everything I am posting is being generated in the  <soap:Body>. One of our customers went live  in FSM 6 update5 February 1st and for the first 2 weeks teches did not have any issue. Hi,We’ve installed FSM 5.7 and 6.7 on the same server. We’ve noticed that the report viewer is used to display reports in the 5.7 version. In the 6.7 version, some of the reports are getting errors when we try to print them, and no reports are linked to the report viewer. Hi,we are working on an integration with IFS FSM and IFS APPS10. We want to use user IFSCONNECT and need the password in our test environment as clear text and encrypted.First of all we don’t know the password and would like to reset it.On DB level we know how to manage.In version 8, there was an option in installer.cmd to change passwords for all system users, but in version 10 there is change password only for 2 system users available, ifsprint and ifssys.Who can help us with these 2 questions?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina 

Since the upgrade to u7 I have noted that performing a Refresh Scripts from mobile is corrupting the data that is in the scripts on mobile.  The best example I can describe it seems that the data coming to mobile has been converted to make it XML safe, meaning < > and & characters have been converted to < > and &.  This has only started happening since the upgrade to u7.  It seems like it is breaking all scripts in this manner and the only workaround is to completely initialized the device. When that is done the scripts are all stored in the mobile database correctly.  Is there a setting that needs to be configured to make sure these characters are re-converted when they are received on the mobile device?  I have opened an LCS case for this as it appears to be a significant issue, but I am hoping someone can add some insight here. 

Hi Community,In the Relaese Notes Document of FSM 6 Update 8, There is new App Param mentioned, named “ENABLE_SERVER_SIDE_CLIENT_REPORT_PROCESSING” which will be used to determines whether a client report is processed and rendered on the server or on the local client with the report viewer.But it is also mentioned in the same document that “This app param does not affect SSRS Reports, which are deprecated and should not be used for new report development.”.I have a doubt on this, Does it mean that we will not able to use SSRS for report development in 6.8?Please help me to understand this. Thanks in Advance !! 

We have a requirement, in FSM 6.7 , business user wants to view the training material should available in application , so that they can view/download the training material from the application similar to Help Menu where user can download the FSM document for reference.Please suggest can we attach our Training document in the help menu, so that when user clicks the help menu only the User training document we prepared should download. Regards,Rashmi Ranjan Patnaik

HI , I Have Done  Screen Designing and Applied Client Script in that Screen It working Fine  in Smart Client  and web client .But Both screen design and client script  not Reflecting in Technician Portal.Can anyone please suggest, what is the step that I am missing . Trying to install the window mobile app for FSM 6.7, but I keep getting error the installer bundle is signed with an untrusted cert.  In the past I would have been able to get the cert from our server and install it locally.  I cannot seem to find the FSM 6.7 windows mobile cert.  Can someone help point me in the direction of where to find it?  Thanks in advance.

I am seeing a large number of these errors in the Mobile error log (FSM 6u7) for each replicated table - As far as I can see all the user/passwords are correct. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi,We are looking for a way to give our customers access to user-specific URLS through the customer portal.  This could be for Project Plans, SmartSheets, Sharepoint sites, other file storage locations, reports, or other portals/incident systems. I’m aware that there are Link elements in the lobby, but since we can only associate 1 Lobby to the portal, which is used by many of our customers, all customers would see the same links.This could be solved through a data-source driven element, such as LIST elements, but they don’t support hyperlinks.         I’m very open for a Lobby solution, if one exists, to load custom hyperlinks unique to the person loggin in (or their portal access)  The workaround to not being able to use lobbies seems to be to build a custom workflow…   However; I’m running into a similar issues as with lobbies.I can get all the right data, including URLS, to display for the right people. I cannot figure out how to make a hyperlink so theURLs are functional, or beter

Hi All,Hoping at least one of you may have experienced these challenges in the past, and figured out how to overcome them :)  We’re trying to launch the new customer portal, but have the following challenges:  When launching the “REQUESTFLOW” process, which starts creating a new request, the “Place ID” always seems to default populate to whichever value is highest on the list of Access in the users profile ---  Is there a way for place_id to start blank/empty?   We’d are a B2B organization, where each Customer has access to hundreds of places, we want to force them to select the right one, without defaulting.  When loading any lookup, whether Placelookup or RequestTemplateLookup, or others, the default sort order seems to be on the key element. Can the sort order in a lookup popup be manipulated to any custom-sort, such as by place.name or request_template.name? Is there any support for Searching or Filtering within a lookup? a list of 500-5000 locations is hard to browse through witho

HiCan you please explain how GPS location updates are recorded on the mobile device (IOS) and sent to the backend and what should be configured to make this happen. We are currently using FSM6 SP5 and are experiencing very few GPS updates on the person records of the technicians. The mobile device is set to allow location tracking for the device and FSM however very few updates are written back to the FSM application
