Document Management (DocMan)

We are using report rule Check in to document management. This worked fine in 21R2. We recently upgraded to 23R1 and it is no longer working. Is anyone else having issues with this in 23R1 SU1?I also set up a test in demo env, where it is also not working. I was looking how I could attach picking lists printed onto a shipment. I could only think about two options Use report archive and try to find the picking listIn report archive set the validity a bit longer (they only need 10 days) Try to find the shipment based on the notes (which is not so easy) Report rule and attach a shipmentSo secondly I was thinking of using a report rule and attach a shipmentbut I cannot see an attachment screen on shipment so I was not sure how to enable this. I checked object connections but could not choose shipment as an entity? Its on this screen I would like to attach some documents 

We are receiving an unhandled security checkpoint error.  This is on attached approval processes when using an approval template. So in the example below, it is on an Inventory part.  It also happens on a Supplier for Purchase part as another example.  However, it does not happen for any of our document approvals within the document revision screen.  I did see another post that recommended going to system parameters and turning the Security checkpoint framework available off and then on again….but this did not correct our issue.

Is there any restriction/limitation on the Supplier for Purchase Part window to add new documents?Trying to get the “New” button enabled, can use some helpful pointers. Followed the steps mentioned in the Enable attachments in IEE windows | IFS Community Granted the user with Document Administration permission sets. Users can attach new documents in other IFS screens, not in the Supplier for Purchase part. This brings the question, is there any special setup needed or any limitation (APP10 UPD16)

Hi All, Is it possible to call a get function in VBScript or something similar? Because I want to get a value which is getting calculated from a method/function and use it in a VBScript block.Is there any way to achieve it?Thank you in advance for any insight on this.

After I create a Document with Multiple sheets, and I want to connect all the sheets to an Object, I have to manually connect all sheets to the Object. I can utilize the Document Revisions screen and select all the sheets for the Document Revision and the Connect to an Object.   If Document Sheet 1 is already connected, and I create new sheets after the connection, I can connect automatically using the New Sheet Wizard. Is there a way I can connect Document Sheet 1 to an Object using the Connect Object button on the Document Revision screen and all the other sheets are automatically connected to the Object?

Hello,I have been looking into how to trace the download and/or print of document revisions. I have been looking at report archive and that appears to only log operational reports. Is there a way to track what is being printed or downloaded from document revisions?

Good day community.We have a client that is implementing Cloud and need to migrate 10 000 plus documents from legacy, along with their existing document numbers.In Apps 10 it was possible to upload multiple files at once using the File Import screen. On here it was possible to change the document number to a legacy number when uploading new files In Cloud I believe the same can be done using Create Documents.However, it allows me to create documents and to enter Legacy Numbers  but once I save, it returns this error:  

When I download a PDF invoice, the file name is a concatenation of our Document Title + Repository File Name.How can we change this so that the downloaded PDF does NOT include the repository file name? This is a file that can be manually sent to our customers, and the file name is confusing - it makes it look like the invoice number is the document number.

Hi all, I am performing “Print Invoice” for an Instant Invoice.This won’t generate any Invoice document for Attachment. When user has Media Code “E-invoice” and I perform “Send Invoice”, I can see the attachment attached to invoice. Any help, how invoice’s PDF is attached to attachment too, when performing Print Invoice?

Hi all 😊,The customer has a problem with previewing attachments in APP10 Aurena. This is a widespread issue in many fields. When you click the preview button, and error message displays as below.The problem affects all users.The strangest thing is that the preview of the same attachments works in Enterprise Explorer, so it is not a problem of permissions or incorrect paths.Relevant technical logs are in attached files.Any idea on how to fix this issue is highly appreciated.Product Version: UPD15Thank You 😊

Hi All, Expecting your valuable advice on this: I get the following error when I open the document attachments.All the necessary access to the persons groups which is relevant to the document class is already granted.(Document basic data -access provided)Permission sets have been provided to the users.Document status is unlocked and check inRefresh security cache and restarting already doneOther documents for the same class can be viewed. IFSAPP can be viewed this document but the users who have access to this unable to view.Have I missed anything else? RegardsNaadira  

Different tabs in the Attachment section of a Page such as, Document, Approval Steps, Media, etc. can be enabled from the Object Connections page by adding these options to the Service List of the particular Logical Unit. However, I cannot seem to find this page in IFS APP 10 Aurena or IFS Cloud versions. How can I do the same thing in these versions?  

 We are planning to change a Doc Class via a script for a set of documents checked in after 1-1-2015. Is this possible?
