Can we integrate IFS ERP Application (version 10) with the Salesforce CRM? If Yes, then How?

I would like to make a proof of principle of integrating pipedrive and IFS’ CRM functionality together. Pipedrive would be used for filtering and following up the initial sales qualified leads and then after these reach “a certain stage” these would be transferred to IFS’ CRM after a deal is won or lost, pipedrive would be “informed”   so Pipedrive is a black box for IFS regarding where the sales qualified leads (SQL) come from and IFS is a black box for Pipedrive regarding what happens between becoming a SQL and a deal Is this a viable idea? What would be the best way to do this? What would be an alternative set-up? The main goal would be to NOT have two parallel systems, where data has to be entered twice, separately.    note: I found a similar/related topic here:

Looking at Customer / Product / Price level budgets / forecasts that can also be used for measuring salesperson targets ?Have reviewed S&OP and Demand Planner but these are more quantity based and just use Avg Sales Price so are fine for general planning but not detailed sales budget level that we can track report against at sales person level ?I have been point towards external solutions such as Beqom or Xactly.  Any IFS partner solutions available for this ?

Hi All.In Customer Order functionality, whenever we change status (example: Planned to Released), it doesn’t change status immediately. We have to refresh windows multiple times then check background job etc. it changes after sometime. It happens not only in Customer Order window but also in other windows like Delivery etc.Do you guys also face this issue. Please guide what could be the reason behind this.Note: We have faced this issue mostly with Customer Order Functionality, other modules process fast. Regards

When we use the option to run a ‘customer statement of account’ to run monthly statements the IFS standard layout is used. Is there any way to make sure the alternate layout we designed from crystal is picked up rather than the IFS standard. Perhaps I can set this as a report rule? - am not quite understanding the logic I need to enter in the ‘actions’ ordinal to pick up the email from the customer comm method OR payment customer contact field.   Help appreciated!    

Hello,On IFS V10.8;I found an useless situation on CRM. When i trying to create a customer from lead, customer created successfully but the lead is deleted with atteched documents somehow.When i analyze the BUSINESS_LEAD_API, i found  procedures as TRANSFER_ATTACHED_DOCUMENTS and REMOVE_LEAD but the transfer docs procedure is not work for me.Can u explain, why the leads are deleted when we try to convert to customer? Why the system working like this really i wonder.The other important question is, how can I find my valuable documents that I add to leads in the system?Best regards. 

Dear Community,We are using IFS version 8.We are performing Gate out of invoices regularly.While creating invoice through load list user need to create Gate pass request after “Delivered” state of Load list.Many time we have observed that user misses this step and performs Create Invoice step and invoice get created for this load list.But when this same invoice we are going to Gate Out due to non availability of Gate pass requests Gate out not possible.So Each time we need to search that Load list and create the Gate pass request and confirm it.It takes lot of time of Gate out person.So can we restrict creation of invoice if Gate pass request is not created for that invoice.I have tried it by creating the following trigger but its not working.Requesting help of the exerts(Hero) here…!!!***************************************************************************************CREATE TRIGGER LOADLIST

We are using IFS version 8.While creating sales part we need to mention sales part no and inventory part no .If Inventory part is present i.e. already created in system  them user connecting this inventory part with sales part and saves the screen but if inventory part is not present in system then also user can created sales part by mentioning inventory part in part no and when he saves the screen sales part along with inventory part getting created.I need to restrict user for creating new inventory part if it does not exits in system.Please provide me pointers regarding this scenario.Thank YouDeepak Navale.

Hi,We would like disable column chooser for users, but I could not find right permission. We will hide some price columns from user. If you know better way, you can suggest to hide price datas from user. 

Could someone please advise. When there are changes to the customer  order line(s) is the history of the change recorded anywhere.eg. in the event of the customer order line being cancelled is the date it was cancelled recorded.if the qty changes on the order line is the change recorded along with what it was changes from and to.etc. Or is it a case of switching on History Logging.

Hello, RE: Apps 10 v4 The documentation states that “Documentation Text” can be added to customer invoices, however I do not see this as an option anywhere on the form (standard right mouse click on both the header and the line). It shows up on the customer order form as an option, but not the invoice. We are trying to add a note that will print on a specific invoice but not on anything else. Any ideas? Thanks Aaron

We would like to print a pro forma invoice for a given shipment but the option is grayed out. The shipment is in “Completed” status and we’d either like to print it manually by RMB in the header of the shipment > Print Pro Forma Invoice OR have it as an optional event for the shipment type. The help says that this should be as easy as RMB in the header and clicking Print Pro Forma invoice and the only prerequisites are as follows: The shipment must be in Complete or Closed status before you can print the shipment pro forma invoice. In order to print the customs value it must be manually defined for each customer order line. The customs statistics number will be printed for both inventory and non-inventory sales parts as well as package parts, when defined in the respective inventory part, non-inventory sales part and package part records. The net weight will be printed for both inventory and non-inventor

 does ifs provide management of certificates of conformance ? when we send goods, a delivery note comes with the shipment. for each part and batch, a certificate of conformance should also come along the shipment. for instance, we would like to have one delivery note and as many CC as there are parts and batchs in the shipment.  

We have multiple customer orders for a customer who would like an invoice per the delivery point. Is there a setting I can use in IFS to make that happen?   Thanks Bruce  

I have a Sales contract and I want to invoice 2 items coming from 2 lines. But IFS gives me the error “You are not allowed to use Tax Codes of type Tax with percentage greater than 0%”. But the settings on the address used are that this address can have tax and this is not set on EXEMPT. Anybody an idea which setting could trigger this message? Thanks in advance!

Hello! We have the following case. We want to use report rule to send invoice to our foreign customers instead of doing it with attachments in Outlook. Our problem is that the customer also need to get the delivery note (delivery note from shipment) in the same e-mail. Either as a combined PDF or as an second attachment.   Is this possible with report rule? Can it be used to collect both reports, when printing invoice?  We have IFS 10.

Good morning Community, we have been approached by a business partner for providing a regular BME Cat v1.2 format export from our parts. Does any one of you here in the community has created such an export or knows any solution we would be able to integrate / apply onto IFS to get this export generated in an automatic / semi-automatic way? Hello. I am looking into the setup of a Freight Price list for our US customer base. I have setup a Freight Map and Freight Price List for Fedex Priority, with the Zone Defined by Zip Code. This allows for a numeric range of Zip Codes as shown below.   This is working when a 5 digit Zip code is used. The problem i have encountered is when the Customer Address is in the ZIP+4 format (XXXXX-XXXX). In this case the Freight Zone is not found. Is there another way to approach this, or have i missed something in the setup?
