Data Migration

Hello!I am attempting to create a new Excel Migraton job within IFS (Apps 10) and I am running into an issue.  Upon trying to validate any data that I put into my excel sheet for the job I get an error stating “Error loading migration job info User - Defined Exception”.Error When attempting to use the “validate” function.Below is the current configuration of the migration job.  I have tried several different defaults and tried enabling all fields and manually entering them within the job but have gotten the same error every time.  I have successfully created and used several migration jobs in the past but have never seen this error before. Formatting page configurationSource mapping configuration Method list configuration​Rules configurationUltimately, I am trying to create an add-in job that I can use to create new records within a Sales Price List (Below) Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.  I do not want to enter all of these entries by hand f I can avoid it.Thank you!

When I loaded data in to out test environment the timeslots are moved to +1 hour. For instance 08:00-16:00 becomes 09:00-17:00. This is not the case on our dev environment so there must be a setting somewhere to change the behavior, but I can not find it.

I have set the file type for 2 views (Header & Line) Material requisition ( MATERIAL_REQUISITION  & MATERIAL_REQUIS_LINE ) but row status unpacked.any suggestion from anyone. how to solve this issue. Please see the steps of data setting after transaction screenshot.   

Hi, As we tested, for Data Migration Tool - Repliation procedure21R1 - exist21R2 - NOTexist22R1 - NOT exist22R2 - exist (again) To be honest , we pretty confused with this Roadmap,so, can we use this feature in 22R2 , what if we Release Update to 23R1 , will it still be there?

Does IFS Cloud have the capability to have multiple pick locations for a shop order/traveler? Also, is there a way to tell the system to pick from 1 location first, then if inventory is depleted, pick from location 2, once depleted, pick from location 3 and so forth?We want to have multiple locations for 1 part number but want the shop orders to consume from one main location first, then a 2nd, possibly a 3rd.  Is this possible?

Hello,  I would to shedule a task pour generate a XML.in the first picture we can see a parameter of my reporting.Creation of database task et then sheduling with parameter​my problem is the PATH parameter. I put the output path of my file .xmlWhen i run my task , IFS can’t find the path \\vm-data-grp\bureautique\Extractions\IT i try to make or not the name of xml , same result.Is the syntax good ? I can go to this path too when i’am connected since database serveur. I don’t know why the path is wrong... Thank you For information i execut this process in the database task. The folder exist :  

 Hello, How should I approach this kind of data migration / Custom object usage? The need is to show inventory part’s newest revision from on inventory part main page. I have created Custom object like this to General page of “Inventory Part“ The problem is that in our environment this Revision information is saved only on different site (So called Master site) and 90% of users do not have access this site. Would it be possible to use somekind of migration job to get Revision data from master site part revision tab and save it to this custom field? Revision information on Inventory Part Revisions Tab Custom field “Revision”. Data is from Master Site and without user’s access right to Mast site, this does not work.   

In a number of threads I've read that regular (older) Migration Jobs (FndMig) are not the favorite anymore. One better uses Data Migration Manager.Where does that leave Excel migration jobs? They are linked to FndMig, as far as I know.If FndMig is deprecated and may not be available anymore in coming versions, where does that leave the implementation/explanation of Excel migration jobs?Is it better for consultants not to mention that it exists?Is it better for customer not to start using them or trying to remove them from the possible functionality to use in IFS Cloud?I'm interested in your thoughts,Steve

Hi, I'm trying to migrate invoice plans details using migration job. But it is not loaded Sub project ID and Activity ID columns to the File mapping tab. What would be the reason for that?

We have our Customer Order Confirmations printing through Crystal Reports. We recently set up a new site. These reports are not showing any information for the new site when we print a confirmation. Is there something in IFS I could be missing for the site set up? Or is there a spot in IFS that tells Crystal which site’s are allowed for this? I looked at the crystal report file itself and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything with the site. 

Would like help on why this error pops up.I have refreshed the page before trying to create this Migration Job The Job ID does not exist in the Migration Jobs pageThank you

I have a Migration Job that uses the Excel Add-In and some of the custom fields are linked to views/tables, so I understand that the “_DB” value will be that of the OBJKEY/ROWKEY.  What I don’t understand is why I am receiving an integrity constraint error for NULL entries of the “_DB” columns.  one of my errors: “integrity constraint (IFSAPP.BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY5_CRK) violated - parent key not found”how can one prevent this for NULL values for non-mandatory custom fields? Sincerely,Vince K.

Hello,In migration Job, I would like to create a quick excel migration to modify a value of the field Tax_Liability in the LU Customer_Delivery_Tax_Info.But impossible tu update this field, excel add in refuse to let me modify this value. “Access denied. User SFAUR is not allowed to add/edit/delete users in the company”I tried with IFSAPP but same result… What is the option to grant me the right to update this kind of field !?

When trying to add employees through New Employment Assistant, upon clicking Finish button, an error message appears that states "The Employee Employed Period already exists." We think this is related to challenges with the DMM Data Migration tool.  The issue has to do with the EMP_EMPLOYED_TIME table. That table has a SEQ_NO field in it that is the primary key and was loaded during data migration. The Aurena client has a reference somewhere to a SEQ_NO that increases by 1 each time we try and save a new employee record. Somehow (possibly through the data migration process), the value in the client came out of sync with the underlying database. If you click save enough times (several thousand based on our load), it will eventually work and go through as the console log shows that each time someone clicks save, the SEQ_NO value in Aurena increments by 1. We need to have a way to reset the SEQ_NO for the EMP_EMPLOYED_TIME table that is stored in the Aurena client and set it to the next v

In Apps 10, the set up for a Migration Job is in IEE.  Is there any way for a user to run an existing job from the Aurena interface?

HiI am migrating into Sales Price List Part (SALES_PRICE_LIST_PART)Method List is set to New and Modify.Ran the migration job and all records were imported.When I re-run the Migration Job I get an error ORA-20112: SalesPriceListPart.EXIST2: The Sales Price List Part object already exists.Does anyone know why I get this error? teh record does exist so it should be doing an update now, not an insert!Cheers,Graham 

We recently found an issue where we had to turn on a Data Mart Source. I noticed that all of them are set to inactive. Should they be active after an upgrade to 10 from 9?  Thanks!

Import fixed asset is not working properly.  Below is the test plan:Create an FA object with valid from date 8/30/2016, assigned to an object group with SL BP for 7y0m. Import the object with acc. Depreciation value for year 2022, period 12. Post the import transactions. Create a new depreciation proposal for the object above for year 2023, period 1, review the proposal, you will notice the depreciation will fully depreciate the object with the remaining residual value.  That is incorrect.  The object should still have another 8 months to depreciate. If you would like to review our data, object id TEST2 is done via external template, object id TEST3 is created in the system, both with the same issue.  The testing data is on my UAT database (URL: IFS Cloud). We are currently on IFS Apps 8 but not using the fixed assets module.  

Has anyone ever created a Migration Job for Object Measurements in IFS App10? We are trying in various ways and still no success.I would like someone to share their experience. 

Trying to set up an External File Template to import Customer Payments.  Whether I use a system-provided template or one I set up on my own using the great advice in this community, I get this error:  “ORA-20111: ExtPayParameter.NOTEXIST2: The Ext Pay Parameter object does not exist.”  For example, I’ve tried the system template CUP_USCUSCHK.  Does anyone know what this error means???Thanks.
