Demand Planner Historical Data

Running Apps 10 update 10.  The Demand Planner Server is connected to the client.  Data able to be transferred back and forth.The historical demand for a forecast part is not being copied to the client or added to the Forecast Part Historical data tab.I believe I am using the right flow and the historical data is added to the basic data table.I am setting the Aggregation Type to Recalculate historic demand on the Forecast part.Then run the Qualify Part Job.  It set the Aggregation Type back to Incremental after the job runs, but no historical data added. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks… DR

Supplier List with Incoterm

I need to get a list of Suppliers with the following ColumnsSupplier ID Supplier Name Del Terms Del Terms Location If I go with the query builder, can you help with the SQL Query I should write? Or is there a IFS window I can get the excel output directly? I couldn’t find one.

Can you print labels for non-inventory parts?

Our operations team does not want to inventory their parts but want to be able to generate labels from IFS. I believe this is only possible if the parts are inventoried (bar code labels) but I wanted to double check before I said anything. Thank you.

Correct Component Order on Purchase Order

We are running Apps10 UPD8.  I’m looking for a way to correct a user error on a Purchase Order. We issues a purchase order to a supplier (qty 1500) that included 7 components shipped on a customer order (using components for Purchase Order).  They made a mistake and did an RMA for qty 13 on 1 component.  The supplier actually received 1500 and built 1500 for us.Now we are trying to receive the PO.  IFS will only let us receive 1487 because it thinks the vendor only has enough components to build 1487.We are trying to figure out how to correct this.  Any ideas?

State is not valid

How can it possible? Why the state is null? Because of that, I could not change to released to planned. Have you ever seen that error? And how can I solve it? I don't think changing the table manually is not a good idea.

How do I view all invoices that are on system for a supplier?

Hi, Using IFS8 and i want to be able to search for a supplier and see a list of all invoices that are currently on the system for a particular supplier, how can i do this? I may also want to extract a statement/excel file to forward to the supplier AR department  Many thanks in advance!

Demand Planner - Supporting Oracle Client versions

All the APP 9 customers should use oracle 12.1 clients for their configurations App10 Customers on or under UPD6 need to use 12.1 clients.Therefore in general oracle client, 12.2 is not supported by any IFS installations which are on or below APP10 UPD6From UPD7 onwards the DP is compatible with the oracle 12.2 clients.The below table elaborates an overview.IFS supported platforms documentation for APP9 and below APP10 UPD7 customers

E-mail POs

Setting up the process of directly e-mailing suppliers their Purchase Orders.    Can this be done in bulk or does it need to be indivuudally per PO. I can only see the e-mail order on RMB menu when in each PO and not on multiple screen?

Requisition Authorization Tracking

Semi new to IFS and I have been tasked to track Demand Requisitions from date created through authorization to PO.   Looking to track how long it takes for folks to authorize requisitions basically.  In the past they have been ‘sat on’ and never flowed through the system quickly enough. Can anyone assist with a query that will show me created date, ALL who are required to authorize and the date this was done to PO?   Appreciate any help.

Some inventory transactions does not Transfer

Hi!I have noticed in some instances that, when we execute Transfer Inventory Transactions job for a site, some transactions created during the same day does not get transferred.I know this is not any issue but the system behavior due to some reasons, which I am not really clear of.In the technical aspect I have heard this is caused due to truncating dates when the job is executed. And in the functional aspect, I think this has some reason with deciding the actual costs for the day before they are being transferred. Please help to clarify this.Thanks!

VAT Only Purchase Order

Supplier is sending us VAT only invoices.  Is there a way of raising a VAT only PO or is it easier to directly code the invoice?

Staged Billing Profile – price change vs Tax Change

When changing the price on a customer order line that is set for Staged Billing you will get an Information message to verify that the stages are at 100 percent. If you add or remove sales tax you do not get the same Information Message.  Is this the intended behavior of the system NOT to show an Information message when Sales Tax is added or removed from a customer order line set for Staged Billings, or is this a bug?

Intersite Order

Hello,We’ve had an issue a few times now where the original customer order for a part was canceled , but no and since it was not informed, so the product was still reserved and shipped. There is no IFS stop on it until they go to deliver the order on the ‘Register Direct Delivery’ page, that there is an error.Can we automate the process of when an order line gets cancelled  it also is cancelled on any connected purchase orders and customer orders? This process update would be specific to the intercompany orders between the two sites and the that sourcing option of primary supplier internal direct.

Purchase req authorisation with no supplier

We have recently upgraded from IFS8 to IFS10 and use purchase requisition authorisation. When we were on IFS8, if a purchase req had no supplier it was not possible to authorise it. An error message stating “Authorization denied - Supplier has to be specified”.  We have set up IFS10 the same way but now IFS will allow us to authorize the req.  There are no custom events creating this message, so I think this is a standard message.  Has the standard functionality changed in this area or is there a way I can setup IFS10 to work the same way, or would it need a custom event?

Sending outgoing supplier invoice with e-mail

Is there a way to configure to send Outgoing Supplier Invoices automatically to an e-mail address/supplier when they have been printed? We are currently sending them manually after printing.

Transport task, from Drop-off location to Forward To location

As we all aware, when there is a Drop-off location defined in one particular warehouse (or below levels) and when we move parts using a Transport Task, once we execute the initial transport task, system creates a new (or add to existing) transport task From Drop-off location to Forward to location. I couldn’t find any link (connection) to identify the newly created (or existing one) transport task from the initial transport task. Is there any way to directly go to the newly created (or connected) transport task, instead of go and search in Transport Task/s widows?

Moving reserved stock - for Supplier Material functionality

Hi All, It was my understanding that all reserved materials can now be moved in Apps10. But, when component parts are reserved for supplier materials, the system does not allow this reserved stock to be moved.Is this the standard functionality and what is the reason behind this? How to put parts(inventory) into Handling Unit

Hi,     In IFS Aurena or IEE , by which menu I can attache parts into Handling Unit?    eg: in there are 10 parts-A  in stock, I would like to put 5 in Box-1 and other 5 in Box-5.    ※in WaDaco, I know we have “ATTACH_PART_TO_HANDLING_UNIT” procss ,   　 but in Aurena or IEE , I Cannot find similiar menu.

Regarding Incoming Purchase Price Catalog - when using price lists

Hi All,Im in Apps10 (UPD5) and im trying to understand the functionality on ‘Incoming Purchase Price Catalog - when using price lists’. Example:site 1, site 2, site 3 > all belong to company 1.supplier > supplier 1part no > part 1Supplier for purchase part records for part 1 &  supplier 1 is available on site 1 & 3.sales price list > belongs to company 1. valid for site 2. Now, when i update the prices from the sales price list, it updates the price lists of supplier for purchase part records belonging to site 1 & 3 both.  So my questions are;1.When there is a supplier for purchase part record for multiple sites (but sites belongs to the same company), when updating the prices from the price lists, is it supposed to update the price lists of the given supplier for purchase part, for a given supplier, in all the sites (if the company is the same)? If not, what am i missing here? 2.If it is the functionality, is there any way to restrict this for a specific site?
