I have worked with customer consignment, but now trying to set up test for supplier consignment. I can’t find the place where to define that part is consignment part, so in principle how to set up supplier consignment. It would be nice if I can find some help here (IFS10).

Discrepancy Between Customer Schedule Forecast and MS

We’re importing Customer Schedule Forecasts into Master Scheduling. It’s working but I have a discrepancy I can’t account for. Customer Schedule Lines show a forecast between 2 customers for a total of 3456 Master Scheduling MS Level 1 Part shows a total forecast qty of 3434 Any ideas why these would differ?

Where to setup Automatic Reservation Rule in Aurena?

Automatic Reservation Rule in IE version is set on Application Base Setup -> Enterprise -> Site. However I do not find it in Aurena version. Thank you.

Inter Company Setup

Hi there,I’m trying to get inter site trading working where the sites that trade are in 2 different companies. I can raise and send a Purchase Order from the demand site to the Internal Supplier, this successfully creates a message in the Connectivity Outbox, however, it does not generate an Incoming Customer Order on the receiving site and there is no Connectivity Inbox message generated. I’ve got inter site trading working successfully where the sites are within the same company but not across multiple companies Any ideas? Thanks!

Ordering parts from a PM

Hi, hopefully you will be able to help. We are on apps 8 and my team would like to set up within a PM an automatic ordering system of parts for vehicle servicing (just to start with more to follow). However, we would like the system to order the parts 2 weeks before the generation of the PM. Is this something apps 8 offers or is this something that can be created as an add-on? thanks

Maintaining visibility of Customer Level Forecasts within DP Client

We’re currently using IFS Apps 9 and using the demand planning client. I’ve built flows per our largest customer but i’m running into a situation where i’d like to import the customer’s submitted forecast within DP while also maintaining a separate adjusted forecast (so that we can measure accuracy, etc.) I see that customer scheduling is an option for master scheduling, but I can’t seem to find a way to manage a separate adjusted forecast other than manually doing it with scenarios. Another option I’ve thought of is using collaborative forecasting and having the customer’s forecast input as a collaborative forecast. Am I missing something simple here? Do my solutions make sense?

MRP Action Proposals - Supplier Field blank?

While utilizing the MRP Action Proposals I do not see a Supplier showing up in the the “Supplier” column for many of the different MRP Messages. For example, I have an Inventory Part with one supplier up on the Supplier for Purchase Part page, and when MRP runs the Action Proposal says “needs orders” but the Supplier doesn’t show up. If I right click and select the “Follow Up” option the correct Supplier appears in the Purchase Requisition Lines, which is a good thing, but why doesn’t the Supplier automatically show up (as a suggestion) in the Action Proposals page? Is there a setting that I may be missing to have the Action Proposal indicate the Primary Supplier from the Supplier for Purchase Part page?

Default delivery address per supplier per part (receiving address in PO)

Is it possible to define different default delivery address in site or in company basic data and can that be connected to supplier or to the item? For example supplier 12345 have always different delivery address we have in company basic data.

Multiple supplier address on PO's

Is there a way in IFS Apps 9 to create Purchase orders whereby the supplier document address and supplier delivery address can default into the Misc Order Info tab based on a supplier ID and part no? On our Supplier for Purchase Part record, we have several parts related to the particular supplier were the addresses would need to be different based on which part is purchased. I don’t see any linkage on the Supplier for purchase part or Supplier record where this could be configured. Perhaps some type of custom event could accomplish this? Any ideas from the group would be greatly appreciated!

Demand planner stop /Start

What are the consequences of stop/restart of DP server?at the restart does it perform all the scheduled jobs even the date/time is < Sys date?One of my client having problem where they have exact similar set up in Test/PRod but changing the forecast for one part not be reflected in Exported forecast.Noticed that changed date of Exported forecast won’t be changing as well.basic set up was evaluated , nothing found strange or missing , could this be eliminated with Stop/restart of the server? Is it possible to use page designer to create a new context that will allow you to use an adapted source of data?e.g. I would like to create a new context for creating material requisitions where the user is only allowed to select parts from a limited list of part numbers. i.e. only allowed to select parts connected to a certain product family or commodity group.

Apps10 - Tree structure Part Master search option

Hi, I have a customer (Apps10) looking for tree selection option when looking up a part master. This customer has provided a sample how tree search option should behave (https://reactjsexample.com/content/images/2018/10/react-dropdown-tree-select.gif). The idea would be to get to this tree select in a pop-up screen from a button either on the part number select as an alternate search option or on the search pop-up itself as an option for selecting search criteria (see attachment). MRP for multiple sites

We have an issue with purchase requisitions where MRP does not consider available qty on other site. We have 2 sites in a company, Let’s say A and B. A is a material-supply site, B is a manufacturing site. So when MRP runs for site A, it does not take qty on site B in the calculation, this generates a lot of mess for us. Please help and thanks in advance

Hi, does anyone know how to get fx a EUR pallet automatically added to a purchase order, when ordering a specific part? Some parts are always delivered on fx. 2 EUR pallets - and we dont want to remember to manually put them on the PO.
