Hi Everyone,User who has permission to access only one company can create a deals per part record where “base price site” is not included under assigned company. Based on the user permission, should this be not allowed? Please explain.      

In App-9, Is there any way to define the alternate of an inventory part’s product structure while performing the MRP/MS?

Other MRP systems use 2way matching for Services instead of 3way - so a receipt is not required for Service invoices to pay, just the requisitioner approves.  How do you set this up in IFS 10?  There should be a way to note services, and not require a receipt for it to be paid.

Hi All,Can someone please explain the reason why the Apps 9 version doesn’t allow to create a collective invoice if an advance invoice exists? Upon delivery of the orders, the customer required one collective invoice. Here you’ll notice that create invoice option is available in the Quick order flow handling window. But if you attempt to create a collective invoice from the “Create collective customer Invoices” window for the selected customer, you’ll be present with no search results.Thank youRushdi

Hello, we just went live with Apps10 and MRP is calculating Purchase Lead Time in Manufacturing Days (Monday-Friday schedule). We expect it to run using calendar days (7 day calendar). There are no supplier calendars set up and the help indicates, “If no value is entered in the field, an all day calendar will be used.“ I am confident it is a setting that needs changed, but I can’t seem to find it. Any help is appreciated. Also, we are using Safety Stock to drive demand. Sorry for the vague description, but I feel like there is a simple solution.

Hello lads, Is there some way to enable E-mail order… option in Purchase OrderS → context menu? I know there is a way to do it from Supplier view→ Purchase→Misc Supplier Info→ E-mail purchase order checkbox. Help says:(Select this check box if you want to e-mail the purchase order to this supplier in the automatic order processing.) but we dont want to send it in automatic order processing so we dont want to have it selected.   Is there a way to have it in context menu without need to select this checkbox? btw. in Purchase Order e-mail order… is visible in context menu. Hi all,I have linked a customer to a user to register as a B2B customer. When I logged in to the B2B portal with above user, I don’t see the lobby page ‘Order Management For Customers’.What I see is an empty navigator page as below:  What I intend to see is the below page:  When I check the lobby overview, I don’t see any lobby page with client type = ‘Aurena B2B’. I checked the permission sets for the user and user is granted with ‘FND_WEBENDUSER_B2B’. What is the reason I am not seeing this lobby page in B2B portal?  Is it a permission problem or?  Is it due to that the lobby page should be purchased separately or?

Can someone educate me of the hierarchy where the Price on the PO line is fetched? Say, when we have an active Supplier Agreement, a Blanket PO, Supplier for Purchase Part record, etc. Not sure what are the other price fetching windows are, but let’s say all are active.  Also if you have an F1 Documentation link to explain further about the above hierarchy, please send that too. Hello IFS users , Using IFS 9 over here and I have the following issue which causes increase of manual operations and loss of time.When generating purchase requisition lines the IFS projects the demand(it's planned arrival date) just a day before we get to the critical minimum (current stock level).That causes the need of manual change of the desired delivery date for thousands of purchase requisition lines to a date let's say….2 or 3 weeks earlier than the IFS suggested date.Creating safety stock or setting up inspection time or any other does not change the requisitions that IFS suggests.Is there any option that allows you to change the IFS algorithm of generating requisitions….For example to generate the desired arrival date 2 weeks before the critical minimum reach or maybe setup minimum required stock level? Thanks in advance for helping the newbie.

The last day of February is the 29th for year 2020.  Because of this, IFS Support normally sees several cases logged for an incorrect valid to date, in Statistical Periods.  All too often, the customer runs statistics (a.k.a. Aggregate Inventory Transaction Per Period), for the period.  They get a background job error, indicating an incorrect valid to date is entered.  They navigate to Statistical Periods, and try to change the valid to date.  Unfortunately, at this point it is too late.  Once statistics are run for the period, the dates cannot be changed.  That is why it is so important to check your periods now (before February).  At this point the only way to correct the date, is via a billable data repair script. To avoid this type of situation, please check your February 2020 Periods.  Make sure the end date/valid to date is set to February 29, 2020.   

Help please, We bring in the field VENDOR_NO on the DEMAND_LINES, SCHEDULE LINES,However when I look at the incoming customer schedule I can not see this field or the data. Does anyone know where is kept? I am asking as we need to put this detail on our out going ASN message.Thanks in advance for your help, Sarah

What step of the Supplier Agreement flow that we enter a Project ID? In the planned state or after in the Agreement, IFS won’t let me enter a Project ID either from the LOV or manually. I was wondering if a Supplier Agreement can be used for a Project based purchase at all? The business requirement is, the project needs to release a PO through an active agreement.   

What is the max size limit for uploading attachments to transactions in IFS10 / Aurena?E.g. Purchase Orders, Requisitions, Projects, Work Orders etc Thank you, 

Good afternoon;I’m testing a scenario whereby a client has a purchase order with staged payments.  Some of the staged payments have already been approved and paid to the supplier.  The client now needs to change the part number on the purchase order ( due to a revision ).  Is it possible to “undo” the staged payment approval and generate a credit memo against the supplier for the amount already paid?  Or is it possible to apply the amount already paid to the staged billing of the replacement PO line?  I’m a bit stumped. Thank you in advance!

Hi All, We just went through update 9 in IFS apps 10 and are running into an issue. On commission orders we used to be able to add an unconnected charge line and invoice that on it’s own. Now we have to add a $0 order line, connect it to the charge line, and change the wanted delivery date to today’s date so we can invoice it. It this new functionality or do I need to look for a setting somewhere? Thanks,Mike

Hello all!Since it seems like a problem at least someone else would have, I thought I’d ask the community. We were recently booted from using a software provided by DHL called Easy Ship and were directed by them to use their new web based platform called DHL+. Unfortunately this new software doesn’t have the API integration to IFS that the previous software did. While we can manually add the data, it creates more opportunities for human error.Does anyone know of any new software package for DHL that could provide this feature? We’re using IFS9. And heck, if anyone has any idea for how to integrate into a web based platform into IFS I’m all ears, but I would guess that is unlikely (or complicated).

Hi, We would like to do the authorization of a purchase on the purchase requisition level, because there we can use the Pre Posting based Authorisation. However, if the request is converted to a PO, you can still change whatever you want on the PO level. Is there a way to restrict is, or is the only way another set of approvals on the PO level? thanks!

For our process to work, all our purchase parts chould have Automatic Order Closing ticked off.But every new part created has this setting ticked. Where can we set the standard value for a new purchase part (created automatically by our pre-preparation dep). Today we have to manually change every purchase part.  

Where can you set what you want your purchase order number to look like?  During implementation?
