Buying (Procurement, Demand Planner, ASC, SRM)

I’m using IFS APP 10 in my current workplace. I’ve been tasked with taking a list of parts that have no demand in the system and cross referencing them to other part numbers in the system so that the stock can be moved to the part number that is in demand. I was just wondering if there is any tools available that would help with this? Thanks! Andrew

We are using Apps10.I want to add a custom field to the Count per inventory part screen.  When you go to add a custom field you are taken to the the Inventory part in stock custom field page.  The custom field I want to add has already been created in the part in stock screen, but I am not able to show these custom fields in the count screen.I thought it would be as easy as adding the view to approval detailed views and approving it. It allows me to do this.The issue comes when I go back to custom fields and attempt to Synchronise, then the error message below is displayed.  Am I missing something or doing something incorrectly? ThanksDarren

We are getting the below error when starting the Demand Planner Server (v 6.0.2.9),“Wednesday .05:52, October 18, 2023 Job started : Load Data from DBAssert Failure in GlobalDatabase.cpp:6304”We have tried the below to make it run,Checked the database tablespace free space, connection and disk free space - no issues Restarted the Demand Planner hosted server to see if there are any hanging sessions Restarted the database and application to make sure no issues Reinstalled the Demand Planner Server Reinstalled oracle client and DP server  tried to connect from a different server installing same DP setupWhen we give wrong credentials it prompts invalid username/password so we believe the normal process is working fine but during the database connection initialization stage an entry on the database/table level refusing the session to get connected. Dear IFS team,we are about to go live with b2b in IFS Cloud solution for procurement. It’s using Aurena B2B client for our suppliers to be able to participate in tenders. A pre-requisite for login to IFS B2B is an AD account in Oriflame domain for all B2B users due to security requirements and MFA authentication. AD accounts are created automatically by a tool called Microsoft Access Package, which is a web form to collect user attributes and approval flow. This tool was free but recently Microsoft changed the license policy.  We are wondering if you are aware of the new licensing policy and if you have any alternative recommendations for your customers.Thanks for sharing any relevant information on this topic.

Hi.   Need to know if there is a mechanism to convert RFQ s from multiple sites to a single Centralized Purchase Order. we can directly convert PRs from multiple sites to a Centralized PO through “Request to Order” but after creating the PRs to a RFQ we can not create a Centralized PO. as any one come across a solution for this.   Thanks in Advance.

I would like to know if the past due production schedule lines will be automatically removed during MRP run based of the Past due Fence on the Horizon IDs? It did not happen since we use Production Schedule for a year.  

Hello, Is anyone creating blanket purchase orders for long term equipment rentals or leases? Trying to avoid creating multiple PO’s for the same piece of equipment or increasing authorization limits to an amount that is well above level of authority for fleet managers. As an example, we could have a machine that cost $20,000/ month and plan to use it for 12 months. My preference would be that the PO would be written for $20,000, invoiced each month, and stay open for future months to allow for recurring charges. The way I understand the system today, is we would need to issue a PO for $240,000 to cover the entire term of the PO. If we need it for 13 months, then we would have to create another PO. We have well over 100 equipment PO’s so this can get messy if we have to write multiple PO’s for each unit.

Hi All,We have a Purchase Order that has been raised for a number of zero value “Part Order Lines”, when trying to release this order we get an error message that has not been seen before. The error message is: “Only allowed to have charged items together with Delivery Confirmation”This is not the first PO raised for zero value with this supplier, just dont understand why this order is affected.Any ideas?Many ThanksSteve

Ask if anyone has noticed certain behavior in IFS 9.0, using Purchase Orders / Purchase Order Change Order.- We noticed that within the right-click option, after an approximate time of 25 or 30 Minutes the "Supersede Authorization" option disappears from the menu and only returns it when you log back into IFS.If you can help me in this case I would be infinitely grateful.Add image:

Hello, If we need some exterior operations from our suppliers, we are using Supplier material For Purchase Order Line module to ship and trace the material that our supplier needs. After reserving the necessary parts, we are using “Print Pick List for Purchase Order” which creates a “Delivery Note for supply parts”. This is great to share the information with our supplier, but sometimes our supplier sends us a Purchase Order for the required material. My question is how can I indicate our supplier’s PO number in the delivery note for supply parts ? Thank you for your help.Baran

Hello, I am working with a client on an issue where they converted from Apps 7.5 to Apps 10. They ship non-inventory material from one location to another. The shipping location is set as an internal supplier. The customer is an internal customer. The Customer site enters orders using sourcing code (Int Pur Dir). When the CO is released, a PO is created. The PO shows source (Int Cust Dir). Everything so far functions properly. I have not seen any issues with the setup of the internal customer or internal supplier. Both have the proper flags. But somewhere the initial setup missed something. Proof of concept. In Apps 7.5 system, they can still run the process listed above and everything works. Several CO’s were migrated into Apps 10. Those can be processed correctly as well. However, new CO’s in Apps10 will not complete properly. It gets stuck in Register Direct Delivery. In Apps 7.5, the Register Direct Delivery screen shows the Purch Qty to Deliver and the Inv Qty to Deliver.  In the

I would want to prevent or hold a Purchase requisition from being “Requisition to Order” or “Requisition to Request” when the custom Boolean field “Hold” is checked.At what stage should the the custom event be triggered…Any suggestions ? 

I have played with “Create S/P Req”, and I cannot get requisitions to be in the past (like in MRP).If you chooseCreate S/P Req  - you will only get reqs after the DTF, but none after PTFDo not- well you don’t get any reqs Entire Horizon - you get anything after DTF and after PTF...from MRP - you do get the reqs in the Past, but the Forecast does not appear in IPAP. Help Please
