How to delete the PR line when RFQ is created? and request for order quotation is in closed state ?  

Hello, I am hoping for guidance on an issue. Currently, I have a single supplier performing an OS paint operation on a part we manufacture. There is a need for dual source, and my hope was to setup a Supplier Split for the OS of 50/50 between the two suppliers. However, I am unsure how to setup the routing. There is one internal operation, and the part is then shipped to the Supplier for paint. When I setup the supplier split and SFPP record, MRP continues to only create POs for the one supplier. I have tried to setup an alternate Routing that defines the new Supplier, but MRP will only create POs for the single supplier, even though the split is defined. Is this type of setup possible? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi All,We have a standard document text for the PO to be added to the Document at print. In some use cases the user will want to edit the text for a given PO which is not possible from the PO. To solve for this, I would like to add the Document text as the PO Header Text by default for every PO. This will allow the user to make any edits they need without the risk of having a blank header text printed on the PO. However I have been unsuccessful getting a custom event to work. I tried using the API  Document_Text_API.New_Note_Text but it does not seem to be working. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello togehter, i have currently the case that the “Serial No.” is not shown for for received serial parts in the Purchase Order: Is this a bug or does the assignment of the serial number to the purchase order has to be traced elsewhere afterwards?Many thanks and best regardsRolf

Hi.  Is it possible to make the inventory non-nettable while waiting for the transport task to be completed.  We’re currently using transport tasks to transfer materials to a different location within our instance, but we’re finding it shows up in the in-transit qty category, and is viewed as available inventory ahead of it’s actual arrival to the site.  Similarly, the receiving site isn’t able to see that supply coming in within MRP.   Are both of those options not applicable while using the transport task function?

We are very new to IFS using Apps10 and have come across a challenge. We need to split a material line on a Work Order to charge 50% to the customer and 50% to a warranty account.  This used to be very easy on our old ERP system but struggling to find how to do this.  Does anyone else have this requirement and be able to point me in the right direction on to achieve this please?

We have a CO → PO → CO process in place. Part# 1 is configured in CO#1 with supply code of Int Purch Dir.  PO#1 is auto created - config details are displaying on PO CO#2 (Incoming Customer Order) is not showing the configurationNote - this is working 98% of the time, but there been a few occasions where the config is not transferring and we cannot determine why. Any help is appreciated. 

Hello,Is there a way to force MTRs to move material from the part's default location if available before moving from another location?It seems that MTRs created by PMRP choose material from any available location to move from standard inventory to project inventory. We are wondering if it's possible to for PMRP to prioritize part's default inventory location when choosing the standard inventory location to move fromAny and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Good Morning We are looking to improve our posting information from Non Inventory Purchase Orders. We have installed mandatory pre postings, however, this does not restrict or direct the user to the correct account. Does anyone know how to create a template for these types of purchases ??Kind RegardsPaula 

Hi, One of our stores has been closed for a while due to unexpected events and this has a big impact on the demand. I don´t know for how many monts it will be closed. I don´t want this to affect the forecast prognosis. What can I do in Demand Planner to ignore these periods ?Can I just copy the historical forecast to adjusted demand?Or can I use the movable holiday function, or maybe some other function?

Community, any idea how to reload the new PO authorization rule for existing POs. We have just made the authorizer changes to PO authorization template, wondering how to make it effect to existing POs waiting to be approved.Thank you.

 When using purchase charges, there are lot of variances with the charge amount when the Supplier Freight Invoices come in. Currently make adjustments for those differences on the PO’s before Invoicing. This has been causing a ton of manual calculations and time spent updating percentages on the PO Freight Charge lines. What would be the best way to handle this type of scenario? Any suggestion on how to handle the landed costs for partial receipt scenarios?

Hi all,I have an issue with the navigator. In the customer page there is a sub navigator for each customer and it is pinned to customer. I added a new navigator node(Election Info) to this sub navigator and linked a page.  When I clicked on the newly created navigator node, the sub navigator is moving to the main navigator. I want to keep it as the sub navigator without moving.How can I fix this? 

Hi!We have a case where we have forwarded the PO authorization to a person with higher Max Amount for PO, but the person the authorization was forwarded to is still not able to authorize.The rule has the setting Include all steps and consider limits.The routing template has one step that goes to a project role ‘PL’ as Authorizer.In the documentation on forwarding it says:The person you forward to must already exist as a purchasing authorizer. The authorizer must have an authorization limit that is equal or exceeds the amount on the purchase requisition line or on the purchase order, if the step is defined with the authorization role Authorizer (and not Acknowledger),These requirements are fulfilled in this case.Example:Person A has project role PL with max amount of 250 000.The PO is for 300 000 and is connected to the Project.Person A cannot authorize the PO, so he sends it to Person B that has a

Hi, our customer has av Event for notifying the next authorizer by e-mail. Now they want to remove “NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH” from the e-mail and only have the no_reply_ifs - adress. Is that possible to remove from the event?  Thanks!Emma

Community,any way we could close a PO line without receiving?We have some orders back to 5 years ago. they are supplier material purchase orders. these orders, supplier materials are shipped to supplier already, but the PO never received. We would like to close all these POs without do any RMA or customer orders. How could manually close the PO lines? We are on APP10/UPD9Thank you.

Hello. Has anyone experienced an issue with the Project Activity Connection in the Quick PO Registration in 22R1?   I have been unable to get the No Part Lines to connect to the project activity and I end up having to back into the planned purchase order at the line level a reconnect the no part line to the activity thereby getting the Demand Code to change from Non-Inventory to Project.  It is not updating the Demand Code to ‘Project’ in the No Part Lines tab of the PO which is causing me to make the entry to activity in double steps. This process has been completely successful for another client in Aurena. However, entering Parts Lines from the Quick PO Reg is working perfectly. Any feedback or assistance is most appreciated. Thank you-  Joel Cisco (BA- Houston, TX)
