Community, any idea how to reload the new PO authorization rule for existing POs. We have just made the authorizer changes to PO authorization template, wondering how to make it effect to existing POs waiting to be approved.Thank you.

 When using purchase charges, there are lot of variances with the charge amount when the Supplier Freight Invoices come in. Currently make adjustments for those differences on the PO’s before Invoicing. This has been causing a ton of manual calculations and time spent updating percentages on the PO Freight Charge lines. What would be the best way to handle this type of scenario? Any suggestion on how to handle the landed costs for partial receipt scenarios?

The create order process will not create a requisition for a part unless the ‘required by’ date on an activity is showing as today’s date.Purchase lead time: 10 days Part has a preferred supplier (supplier for purchase part tab)Supplier also has lead time’s setup  for manufacturing and inspection timesThere are 180 in stockBut if i have a demand of 500 on an activity, reserve the 180 in stock and have the date set to the 14/11/23 (which matches the trigger for the purchasing lead time), it does not create a requisition when I use the Create Order Proposal background job.When I change the ‘required by’ date in the activity tab to today’s date (01/11/23) it will create a requisition using the Create Order Proposal background job  Is there something else that would be overriding these values causing IFS to wait until the ‘required by’ date in the activity tab is the current day to order the materials? Thanks

Hi all,I have an issue with the navigator. In the customer page there is a sub navigator for each customer and it is pinned to customer. I added a new navigator node(Election Info) to this sub navigator and linked a page.  When I clicked on the newly created navigator node, the sub navigator is moving to the main navigator. I want to keep it as the sub navigator without moving.How can I fix this? 

Hi!We have a case where we have forwarded the PO authorization to a person with higher Max Amount for PO, but the person the authorization was forwarded to is still not able to authorize.The rule has the setting Include all steps and consider limits.The routing template has one step that goes to a project role ‘PL’ as Authorizer.In the documentation on forwarding it says:The person you forward to must already exist as a purchasing authorizer. The authorizer must have an authorization limit that is equal or exceeds the amount on the purchase requisition line or on the purchase order, if the step is defined with the authorization role Authorizer (and not Acknowledger),These requirements are fulfilled in this case.Example:Person A has project role PL with max amount of 250 000.The PO is for 300 000 and is connected to the Project.Person A cannot authorize the PO, so he sends it to Person B that has a max amount of 800 000.Person B still cannot authorize.Can someone clarify why Person B ca

Hi, our customer has av Event for notifying the next authorizer by e-mail. Now they want to remove “NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH” from the e-mail and only have the no_reply_ifs - adress. Is that possible to remove from the event?  Thanks!Emma

Community,any way we could close a PO line without receiving?We have some orders back to 5 years ago. they are supplier material purchase orders. these orders, supplier materials are shipped to supplier already, but the PO never received. We would like to close all these POs without do any RMA or customer orders. How could manually close the PO lines? We are on APP10/UPD9Thank you.

Hello. Has anyone experienced an issue with the Project Activity Connection in the Quick PO Registration in 22R1?   I have been unable to get the No Part Lines to connect to the project activity and I end up having to back into the planned purchase order at the line level a reconnect the no part line to the activity thereby getting the Demand Code to change from Non-Inventory to Project.  It is not updating the Demand Code to ‘Project’ in the No Part Lines tab of the PO which is causing me to make the entry to activity in double steps. This process has been completely successful for another client in Aurena. However, entering Parts Lines from the Quick PO Reg is working perfectly. Any feedback or assistance is most appreciated. Thank you-  Joel Cisco (BA- Houston, TX)  

Hello, is there some way to see all suppliers and their analysis’ results in one window in SRM?Now I can only see one supplier and his results in window Detailed Supplier Performance Analysis.  But still I have to choose which analysis I want to see and cant see aggregated results for all analysis of this same supplier in this window.Also I would like to see all analysis results for all suppliers.Is there some way how to achieve it?ThanksRomana

Hi, we had a no-part PO received and then found out the cost was actually lower.  The buyer reopened and corrected the PO lines so that the invoice can be matched (invoice has not been entered yet). Finance is asking me-how does the general ledger expense account get corrected to the new amounts?Am I correct that there is no other way to correct the costs on the GL from the purchase transaction  ARR-NONINV other than cancelling the receipt and re-doing it?

Hello, I am attempting to modify a POR in IFS apps 10, however, I am receiving an error stating “Field [Wanted Delivery Date] is mandatory for Purchase Requis Line Supply and requires a value. I do not see that field on the no part req line, and I am unsure how I can modify this POR at this point. Any guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.   

User could not create an invoice. No Discount lines are present on Customer order. Any thoughts?  

Hi,I need help with the list of API Calls to perform on the Part Requisition Lines → "Requisition to Order" → “Create New” steps using the projection API calls. I tried using the “PurchaseRequisitionHandling.svc/PurchaseReqLinePartSet(RequisitionNo='22585',LineNo='2',ReleaseNo='1')/IfsApp.PurchaseRequisitionHandling.PurchaseReqLinePart_RequisitionToOrder” but that didn’t create the PO but the status got updated to PO Created. Thanks,Sume 

Community,do you know how to split existing purchasing order to multiple site? we have supplier material purchasing order has pretty long lead time. we will not know how much belguim site needed until the purchase order is placed.can centrialized purcahsing order handle this scenario? Thank you. 

Community,I am wondering RMB menu on purchase order line “Supply Chain Orders Analysis”  is only enabled for pegged orders rather than Supplier Material Orders? I have a PO that is supplier material purchase order. but “Supply Chain Order Analysis” on purchase order line is not enabled.I am sure I have all permission set is granted. 

I’m using IFS APP 10 in my current workplace. I’ve been tasked with taking a list of parts that have no demand in the system and cross referencing them to other part numbers in the system so that the stock can be moved to the part number that is in demand. I was just wondering if there is any tools available that would help with this? Thanks! Andrew

We are using Apps10.I want to add a custom field to the Count per inventory part screen.  When you go to add a custom field you are taken to the the Inventory part in stock custom field page.  The custom field I want to add has already been created in the part in stock screen, but I am not able to show these custom fields in the count screen.I thought it would be as easy as adding the view to approval detailed views and approving it. It allows me to do this.The issue comes when I go back to custom fields and attempt to Synchronise, then the error message below is displayed.  Am I missing something or doing something incorrectly? ThanksDarren

We are getting the below error when starting the Demand Planner Server (v 6.0.2.9),“Wednesday .05:52, October 18, 2023 Job started : Load Data from DBAssert Failure in GlobalDatabase.cpp:6304”We have tried the below to make it run,Checked the database tablespace free space, connection and disk free space - no issues Restarted the Demand Planner hosted server to see if there are any hanging sessions Restarted the database and application to make sure no issues Reinstalled the Demand Planner Server Reinstalled oracle client and DP server  tried to connect from a different server installing same DP setupWhen we give wrong credentials it prompts invalid username/password so we believe the normal process is working fine but during the database connection initialization stage an entry on the database/table level refusing the session to get connected. Please advise if you think you have encountered this issue on your environments. We think we need to clear some entry on the database level to
