Hi,my customer is having issue with the Supplier Contact being erased when changing the Delivery Adress on the Purchase order. Is this standard behavior or is it an error? Thanks! BREmma
Dear community,I see the lobby “Order Management for Suppliers” in IEE but not in Aurena 10.What projections do I need to make it visible there?I’ve found this link but I can’t see all these projections in Aurena: B2B Order Management for Suppliers | IFS CommunityCan somebody help?
I am trying to add an approval template from new custom events for the order quotation approval screen, but the event does not work, the event that normally works for other screens does not work for this screen. How I can add an approlval template?
We have a situation where an order was entered on the system for Site A to have Site B “Internal Purchase Direct” some parts to their customer. Site B processed the shipment from the Customer Order on 4/1/24 (at 4:15 pm).For some reason Site A cancelled the line on the Customer Order on 4/2/24 (at 9:48 am), where they were prompted to also cancel the Purchase order line for that order. (The parts at this time were already “in transit”).Somehow our customer care personnel was able to perform the Register Direct Delivery on the product for the Customer Order line that was cancelled. They performed this on 4/3/24 at 2:22 pm. Now, we have parts no longer In Transit, so we haven’t been able to Undo the Delivery, nor have we been able to figure out how to create an RMA from an “Internal Order Transit”. The system will not let us. Is this a bug, or what are we supposed to do now?
Hi,Env: Cloud 23R2Question around Direct Delivery via Interco process (similar topics found on here)Project #123Company A & BIntercompany PO (A) raised against Project 123 creating Intercompany CO (B)Supply Code on CO is Purch Order Dir - creating external PO on (B)Register Direct Delivery is performed, closing external PO, delivering Interco CO and Closing Interco PO.If the Material is to be returned to the supplier, RMA is to be created on Interco CO (B) and Register Direct Returns is processed. What is missing? Do I need to do a Supplier return on Interco PO (A) via Reg Inspection Results? I tried, but when trying to process the Supplier Shipment I get :ORA-20110: ShipmentRcptReturnUtil.INTERNTRANSNI: It is not allowed to Return for Credit when Internal Order Supply is used. ThanksJames
Hello!I’m looking to have a process in IFS for Part Price Approvals. The idea is whenever a Buyer from our company negotiates a new price with a Supplier, that new price needs to be approved by their manager. We have an example template below for outside of IFS. Any suggestions? Is there an existing module for this? Thank you!
We are having an issue with one of our users who is stating the default location is getting deleted without anyone modifying this in any way. Does anyone know of any processes that removes this automatically?
This will be somewhat scatter brained because I’m unsure where to start. We’re using Apps9. Currently, our system is driving purchasing and shop order reqs with start dates in the past. this makes sense to me if we’re trying to meet a certain date for production due to sales orders etc based on the (poor) information we’re feeding the system, but obviously I cannot or produce order something to arrive in March if it’s already April. Moreover, it doesn’t appear that MRP or Master Scheduling is cleaning up these back dated reqs. Clearly step one is fix the bad data, but which besides lead times? I know I need to clean this information up, but it’s unclear where - these reqs are sitting in either a proposalcreated or planned status. Any guidance on how to eat this elephant would be appreciated - it seems wholesale deleting them is an option, but given the amount of clean up utilities and other functions within IFS, that seems in-congruent with the way the rest of the system works.
When we try to release a purchase order sometimes, we need to authorize it first. At that moment IFS application will send a notification to the authorizer via IFS Notify Me app 10. The approach is, first notification needs to be sent to step number 10, and upon step no 10 approval, the Next notification needs to be sent to the step number 20 authorizer. But the issue is, when I try to release the PO, this authorization notification is sent to all authorizers in steps number 10 and 20. Is there any way to resolve this issue?
The required quantity can be edited, given that:The order is not an External Service Order (Order Code 6) The part on the purhase order line is not serial tracked at receiptThe client code (PurchaseOrderLineComponents) looks like this:editable = [parent.OrderCode != "6" and parent.RcptIssueSerialTrackDb = "FALSE"]; Why is it forbidden to edit the required quantity if the part is serial tracked at receipt? We have not found any good reason for this.
Hi Community,Good day. I need help. I am on the purchasing side of the company, and there is a 'Currency Rate' error occurring for these two specific items.I would like to know where I should go to fix it. Our Currency is USD for all the transactions.
We want to add a custom field (Wanted Date) to the All tab of the Inventory Part Availability Planning screen. Can’t do it since the LU OrderSupplyDemand is on the Excluded LUs screen. We are looking for a workaround folks might have figured out. This is a great collection of info and our Planners use it constantly. It would be even better to be able to add the Wanted date for the Part/demand or supply line. Users can RMB to it but that means doing it one and a time and makes analysis almost impossible for parts with alot of demand/supply. We are in Apps 9 UPD 11 but I see it’s still excluded as of Apps10 UD 5 Thanks
Hi,I’m hoping to limit the account values available to select in purchase order pre-posting based on the user creating the PO.Effectively, I would like to use the functionality of Posting Combination Rules, but have the rules apply to the pre-posting in a PO rather than just being checked at the invoicing stage. For example if someone in the IT department raised a PO, the list of accounts available should be limited to show only accounts relevant to IT.The only proposed solution I’ve come across for this is using saved searches, but this of course does not stop a user selecting other accounts, and is difficult to manage in Aurena for a large amount of users.Does anyone have any other potential solutions? We’re using Apps10 and procurement end users are using Aurena. Thanks
In Apps10 IEE, when duplicating a purchase order line that was associated with a purchase requisition, is there an easy way to inherit the purchase requisition number, project connection and associated doc text information to the new line? Our users are reporting that this was the behavior in Apps 8 before we upgraded to Apps 10.
one of our users has reported that he’s noticed the Safety Stock and Min Lot Size fields being updated unexpectedly. He’s noticed that these fields get changed to 0 and is not sure why this is happening. He’s asked his staff if anyone is changing the values but no one is. Is there a process that may be updating these fields that we’re not aware of?This is a snipit of the screen from Production with the values set to 0Here is a snipi from a non prod environment that was a refresh of Production February 4. Any suggestions as to what could be updating these fields or where to look would be greatly appreciated.
Hi all, I'd like to download the list of active SKUs and its price, at supplier level. Thank you very much,Gabriel
I am looking to develop an process for requesting suppliers. I am testing the Business Activity process and there is an option for Supplier Request in the Connection Type field. The Connection field is required but there are no options to select. Where is this setup or where is the basic data to populate this required field? Or, am I using this wrong?
Dear Community, I’m interested in gathering your feedback in integrating 3rd party Sanction Checks tools into IFS Cloud. What 3rd party Sanction Check tools have you worked with that preferably allow for API connection?Basically, the requirement is that every time a supplier/customer contact is created, the data should be sent to a Sanction Check tool and the result should set the customer/supplier as expired and a note field updated that the customer/supplier contact was found on the blacklist of the sanction check tool.
Hi,We receive the error message “Cannot connect as quantity attached to the source line S200 , 8, 1 is not packed to Shipment Inventory” What would be the reason?
Dear All,Requesting your inputs on this. Can we add more than one internal customer or suppliers in the inter site process.Since this is a multi-company scenario. If we cannot add through standard process, how can we add. Customization check points etc Can we automate the supplier invoice process as well once the inter-site process completed. (Manual supplier invoice auto generation)RegardsNaadira
Dear all, I’d like to know if it is possible to transfer a document attached :in PurchaseOrder entity to customer order entity to purchase order line entity to customerOrderLine entityI know I can use “Object Connection Transformations” but I don’t know the transformation method to use for both cases. (I guess I might use two transformation methods for both case, one for purchase order to Incoming Customer Order and one from Incoming Customer Order to Customer Order // one for purchase order line to Incoming Customer Order line and one from Incoming Customer Order line to Customer Order line) Best regards, Laura
Hi,Does anyone know where we can set the Delivery Method that is shown in Purchase Order Lines? This is entered automatically for PO Lines created from Work Orders (Task - Maint. Material Req) or Customer Orders. Seems like there are 3 options defined by the system. Thanks,Dulshan.
Hi,I observed that MS forecast consumption for a CO is based on the Planned due date...However when I have enabled ATP for a MS planned part and when the Planned delivery date is changed in the CO , it doesn’t update the Planned Due Date.In some instances, this difference between the Planned Delivery Date and Planned Due dates can be a couple of weeks , even months. In such instances, it’s going to cause trouble if the forecast is consumed based on the Planned Due date for the CO instead of the Planned Delivery Date.I am trying to understand the relationship between ATP and forecast consumption, how are the functionalities aligned? What am I missing ?Appreciate if someone can shed some light in this area(I am working on 23R2) Kind RegardsYashodha
Hi,I want to make the route unusable, but "update to obsolete is not allowed for the default alternate unless it has been phased out." returns error message.
