Hi,

We would like to give an employee 2 positions so we can give 2 limits of purchase authorisation for one person using limit per organisation position.

We would then have 2 purchase rules according to the coordinator.

So dependant on the type of order, we would select the coordinator to call the right limit for that purchase authorizer.

Is that possible or an employee can only have one position for purchase authorisation?

Thanks ans Regards,

Anne-Sophie

Have you tried embeding/configuring the desired limit structure into the authorization rules themselves (and basically overrule the users own limits in the ‘Authorizers’ tab)?

I think I’ve done this with the various limits and toggles in the Auth Rules and Pur Auth Basic Basic Data (Auth Groups/Auth Routing templates). While it is a bit complex IMO and required a lot of trial/error/testing to get how the business wanted, we eventually got there.

@Rhillson - I did something similar. Set the min and max amounts against the auth rules and select the coordinator against each.

Rule 1 0-50k is set for Coordinator A.

Rule 2 0-100k is set for Coordinator B.

Set the routing templates up for the desired positions.

a lot of testing with the priorities.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your answers.

We are getting there with different coordinators and two positions against the employee.

Kind Regards,

Anne-Sophie
