Hi, In Apps * and Apps 9, there is an RMB option available in Manual Supplier Invoice page for initiating work order. Same is not available in IFS Cloud, how can we manage this business requirement in IFS Cloud?

Hi, we recently updated to 23R1 and noticed that we are not longer allowed to put resource demand across maintenance organizations. The resource has to be connected to the same organization as the workask is assigned to. Otherwise the error message “Resource JOHAN does not have valid Maintenance/Service specific Site Settings defined.”” shows up. Why is that changed? Our process was built after the possibility to put demands across organizations. If a planner needs to borrow 1 resource from another organization to work with her/his worktask it is not possible without changing the worktasks organization or create a new work task?

It appears that the Technician Portal in the standard IFS solution does not have functionality developed for creating "No Part Requisitions" (i.e., requisitions for services or tasks that don't involve inventory or non inventory parts). Has anyone else encountered this limitation? Are there plans to develop this feature for the Technician Portal, or are there alternative approaches for technicians to request no part services? I would greatly appreciate any feedback or guidance on how this can be addressed within the standard solution or whether customization is needed. Thank you!

We would like to create a dropdown to select a user where the dropdown list only contains users that are in a specific user group. This seems like a somewhat normal thing to want to do but we can’t figure out any way to do it in the application. The list would have to show the users actual name as our ID numbers aren’t really easy to relate to people or remember.

Hi Experts One of our oil and gas clients is currently working exclusively with functional objects, without any serial objects in their system. However, they’re now interested in converting some of these objects into serial objects while preserving all past transactions linked to them. I’d like your expert feedback on the approach we're considering for this request and to know if any of these options should be reconsidered. We’re looking at around 40 objects, all of which include measurement details, PM actions, and WOs, but no financial transactions. Here are my proposed options: Create manual serial objects: Reuse the same functional object ID and migrate historical transactions from functional objects via DR script. There is a day forwarning column in the maintenance plan. I would like to know which screen or column uses this data. I was unable to identify this information in the help.I think it is the Next Interval Maint screen where only maintenance intervals within the period defined in the days forwarning column are shown.

Customer environment Cloud 23R2. Site parameter is in position that Work Task should be created automatically in WO status Observed. That works fine from the desktop. But when using MWO in Work Order creation, Work Task is instantly created automatically. So usage is different from desktop and from MWO. Any idea what could be done?

In IFS Cloud 23R2.6 we experience that time registrations on work order / - tasks in grid view, “disappers” when you save the transaction. You can see the total of work order hours in the line “presense”, but not which work order you have registered your hours… ! If you change to calendar view, the work order no/task is visible. I guess this is an error… Anyone who has had the same experience ?

Hi All, I am trying to setup the "Enable Navigation from IFS to GIS Map" for Functional Objects but am having little joy. I have setup the button to the best of my abilities as per this document About GIS Map (ifs.com) However the instructions are not correct for NavigateFilter. I have used the tool to add the filter "LuName eq 'EquipmentFunctional', KeyRef eq $[KeyRef]" but when I click on the View Map button it opens the map but does not select or zoom to the asset. Hello all, We have 1 customer that is very adamant on getting a special test on their Quotes, Order Confirmations and Invoices (at least same text always!). We are still on Apps9, heading for Cloud soon’ish… I’ve tried via Document text, notes etc. But nothing will print automatic on all. We want to avoid having to manually add that Document Text on every single order. Isn’t there a way to get a specific text printed on all documents for that 1 Customer? Thank you,Michael

hi, At the moment I cannot connect the serial object to another serial object because the current position is “in inventory”. How can I make the current position status as “in factory” in the serial object of a part that is tracked as serial part in stock? thanks for help.

Equipment downtime can be entered while the status of the Work task is updated to Work done by enabling the downtime per work type category. However it will not be allowed to modify the data once saved. How the typo errors/wrong information can be corrected?

Hi everyone, when created a resource line where demand type is tools/equipment , after time reporting , in the cost line the cost type is coming as personnel , But when directly reporting time for tools and equipment the cost line shows tools and equipment. I understand this could be something basic but I do not know the logic, can anyone please explain regards
