Hi,  When we try to set a task due date for a case, we always get this message: “task due date exceeds expected response date”.We can’t work out how to prevent this. It doesn’t stop us setting the date.Any thoughts? 

Hi all,I’m currently working on a project for a customer in the Oil & Gas industry.They collaborate with subcontractors and assign work orders to external companies. These external technicians are expected to execute the work orders just like internal technicians — including recording measurements, completing checklists, and so on.At the moment, the discussion is leaning toward not sending work orders to the mobile devices of external technicians. Instead, the intention is to use the B2B Portal both for dispatching and for executing the work orders. However, based on my experience, the B2B Portal does not support performing measurements on objects or completing checklists.Has anyone implemented a solution or workaround for this scenario? Any recommendations or best practices on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

Hi, We are in APP10. We don’t have VIM module installed. we don’t have CRO. We are testing component repair using Repair Work Order. We can take the component off from its parent using repiar work order, after repair, wondering how to install it back to the original equipment structure? Thank you.

Hello,is it possible to schedule my own designed workflow? I like to run a workflow every night in order to get the new currency rates from ECB and store them in IFS. The workflow is in place and does its work, only a scheduled run is missing.Does anyone know how to this in IFS Cloud?e.g. my workflow does not apear in the pull-down Database Task. Many thanks!Herbert

 Hi community! Can someone please explain the direct issue window to me because I can´t seem to wrap my head around it :) If I start by choosing the Location Warehouse I still get ALL parts in Part No, not only the ones at the location. If I start by choosing Part No I get ALL Location Warehouse, not only the ones where the part exists. I need to have them both filled in to issue the material.  So basically I need to find out what and where before I issue material? I can´t get any help from the Direct Issue window? Or am I missing something?  ThanksEmma

Hope someone can help,Currently, I am doing upgrade project from IFS8 to IFS Cloud.   I found that some columns in the view “pm_action_uiv” have been removed such as maint_employee,  aint_emp_sign. Due to the quick report ever referred these columns to show.   How can we know the changed columns in IFS Cloud to support the remove columns? The technical document mentioned for Database changing but not shared the new columns to replace. BR,Pattrawadee  

I feel like in previous versions of IFS we could set Sales lines on the Request Work Task to Not Invoiceable.  That option does not seem to be available.  Is there a work around for internal service request work tasks?

Hi all,we are doing a lot of cancelling work tasks that can’t be handled due to various reasons. This is working but with some problems…The Work task finished date is not updated. Nor there is any field (that I am aware of) That is keeping track of when a work task has been cancelled. That keeps me to the problem that I can’t filter the Work task list on work tasks that have been cancelled last week and so on.  I can see the Work Task cancel event in the Work Task per se. But I don’t know where to access this data in the database so I could probably use that event to create a database lobby. Does anyone knows if and what database table keeps the Work Task event log?I am greatful for any hints or any other suggestions

Hello,The issue I am having is that I am wanting to import some assets but some are already there but incorrect.  The status of these has been set to scrapped. Is there a way to rename the serial number so that I can import the correct information ?

When a template structure that has been transferred to manufacturing more than once contains a module where a piece part is added and activated at the module level, why is the piece part not included in the CAMRO service contract structure tree? Steps followed:Create two new parts configured as manufacturing parts, engineering parts, and serial-tracked parts. Using the Add Structure Position command, add a structure position to a template structure that has already been transferred to manufacturing (same site) more than once. Add a module in Preliminary state, then add a piece part beneath the module, also in Preliminary state. Activate the module line, which also activates the underlying child part. The transfer to manufacturing for these parts is performed automatically. Verify the CAMRO service contract and observe that the child part is not included in the service contract structure tree.

 I’m attempting to rename a serial part (update the serial number) and am unable to.See screenshot for Fault Message:  “the serial exists in Service Management and cannot be renamed.”Am I missing something.  Are there steps that can be taken to rename this serial?  There is going to be a salesman that returns from site with incorrect object information.  An incorrect serial object will be created for new PM actions.  We will need to be able to Rename the Serial Parts while retaining the history.  I’d be grateful for any help or advice on this.  Thanks in advance,Ed

When I worked on solution for customer I faced a problem as follows.  When we are using Technician portal Maintenance Engineer and we have started to complete Work task assigned to Mechanics (I am a member of that Resource group), but we see that the task can’t  be completed without completion of an additional task by Electrician, we have to create the new task for them. I was trying to use the functionality Additional Work - Request additional work that needs to be done and create Task for Electrician (I don’t belong to that Resource group), but I couldn’t assign this task to Electrician (I was able to assign the task just to the Resource groups that I belong). What can I do in order to overcome this restriction, that would enable me to assign the task to Electrician?

After the recent upgrade to version 25R2,  when using the Scheduling Optimization Configuration window, we attempted to navigate to the PSO Workbench using the provided button, but the navigation was unsuccessful.We received the following error message:“A problem occurred! Hi there 😀. The indicatior “create SM object” will create a serial object. My question is for the rental process:Doesn’t the CO in rental create a serial object? Reason is, that during the rental process service processes are needed and the asset should be available as SO. Thanks in advance again 😁
