Could you provide a definition of what IFS functions/areas are covered in which subforums? I’m not always sure which sub-forum to post my questions in. thanks
That user experience is important, I think everyone will agree on. But to achieve great user experience we need knowledge about our users. And the best way to obtain this knowledge is through meeting our users, doing interviews and observe them using our product. To make it easier for us to meet our users, we (the User experience product group at IFS R&D) have created a group for end users. It has end users, that have said okay to participate in studies connected to user experience. They decide the level of engagement. Do you work at a place where you think that there are people who would be willing to participate in this group? Request to join here:https://community.ifs.com/groups/ifs-research-design-group-362 Many thanksTove Ståhl

Like many of us, I spend a bit of time at the end of the year reflecting on all that we’ve been able to accomplish. 2021 has been a year not without challenges - for many of us both professionally and personally. I hope that you’ve all had a year of good health with personal and professional accomplishments. The community has continued to grow this year, due to your steadfast contributions and company. This year we had: All these metrics represent individuals; people who have contributed - asking, reading, responding, and collaborating. We’d like to recognize a few of these people, as our: Best All Around: @Yasas Kasthuriarachchi was our top contributor for 2021! He has the most new topics (238), most replies (712), most likes received (1498), and most likes given (2552). Most Likely to Respond: Our Advanced Competence Hub team led this one with #1 @Yasas Kasthuriarachchi at 712 and #3 @Lee Pinchbeck at 559. @Mathias Dahl was #2 with 564 replies posted this year.@ShawnBerk and @Asela M
I have noticed that IFS10 documentation which was available in https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/ is news removed. As a consequence, the links pointed to IFS10 technical documentation in forum questions are no longer working and forum members won’t have a common documentation to refer.Hope forum moderators will act on this.
Update: All documentation has been restored. 20 Dec 2021Announcement: Apps10 Documentation has been removed from docs.ifs.comDue to the recent Log4J vulnerability, we have removed the Apps10 documentation from docs.ifs.com.We realize this is an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we determine the next best steps. We’re currently considering solutions that would eliminate the security risk presented by a public documentation site, and will keep you informed of our decision. In the meantime, please refer to the in-product Apps10 documentation. Please subscribe to this announcement to received notifications of updates.

Hello, For the attention of IFS customers:Do you have an increase in the quality of the support service by switching to Gold contract or to Platinium contract? Thanks for your reply !!Arnaud G.
I see points listed on the leaderboard. How do you earn points?
Hi,This is about the way we use this community portal. I would like to filter answered questions, to review only open topics - and could not find a way to do it. Is there any way? What do you think - if it is not possible now - would it be useful?
I was trying to figure out a learning pathway for an SCM Consultant and noticed this. Can someone from the academy confirm that the above order is what I should follow to get all the certifications related to SCM? Are there any other basic trainings to complete before following the above order? After I complete the above order of courses only, can I get the ‘Certified IFS SCM Consultant’ title?
There are several questions within the community where a link that begins with wit.ifsworld.com or docs.ifs.com has been offered as part of the solution. But when members click that link, they’ve been unable to login to see the content - even if they’re a customer or partner. Here’s why - and how you can access the same content, in your own IFS instance: wit.ifsworld.com is an IFS internal system and is not intended for non-employees. UPDATE* - docs.ifs.com is now public (Aug 2020) Here’s how the wit links can be tweaked to work for you:Replace wit.ifsworld.com with your server info at the beginning of the URL. Example:Apps 9Navigate to landing page e.g. http://SERVER_URL:PORT/ifsdoc/f1doc/ Copy the wit/docs-link from ‘Foundation1’ and paste after your server URL e.g. https://wit.ifsworld.com/f1docs/apps9upd15/Foundation1/040_administration/255_business_intelligence/040_BI_Analysis_Package/300_BIAnapacConfigLookup.htm becomes http://SERVER_URL:PORT /ifsdoc/f1doc/Foundation1/040_adminis
What would be the best approach to remove a user from the support portal, when they’re not longer with the company? It seems to be a well defined process to register new users but no way to remove/inactivate one once registered. I opened a support “question” ticket and it takes more than 3d to follow up. Some of the people who need their access removed might do damage if not acted sooner. Is there any known path to follow?

October marks the 1 year anniversary of the IFS Community! In October of 2019, we launched the IFS community at WoCo. We knew that our customers and partners wanted a way to connect that was outside of the normal channels. You needed a place to ask questions and not just hear from us, but hear from each other. Our intention has always been of fostering collaboration and creating shared knowledge. We hoped you would use this site - and we’ve been thrilled that you have! This year has seen so much engagement. Here are just a few of the things that happened: Our members are what make our community worthwhile, so thank you to you all! Whether you come with questions, or come to answer them, your contributions are appreciated. The knowledge provided by our customers, partners, and employees has created 50+ heroes, with nearly 100 sidekicks. Anyone on top what will happen with the old IFS forum called Open IFS?https://open.ifsworld.com/forum/default.aspxStill seems to be active discussions going on there, and no comments about switching to the new community.
With 2020 came a lot of great stats - including our 2020th member joining, @pnaughton ! He’s snagged the one and only 2020th badge. I’m really excited by the growth we’ve seen in just 3 shorts months since our launch at WoCo. Here are a few worthwhile stats: We have 2000+ members! We’ve had 600+ topics created, and 1800+ replies. Nearly 3000 likes have been given. 16 heroes have been recognized. Thank you all for being members of our community! Let me know what you’d like to see in the community in the upcoming year or what goals you have for 2020. Looking forward to working with and getting to know you all!
