Hi,Does anyone have experience of using SCANDIT_APP_KEY when configuring mWO ? Not really aware what Scandit offers more than mWOBertrand, using mWO with IFS Applications 10 update 10

Is there any possibility in App10 to limit access to document folders in Document Management? For example, if a company is maintaining a document folder in IFS to keep some managerial meeting minutes and need to limit access to that folder for a limited group of people, is it possible? I am aware that we can define a document class and limit access to that class, then documents can be created in the folder using that class. In addition to that can we limit access to a specific document folder as a whole?TIA

Hi All, Can anyone assist me with below query ? 'Bad Request' Error is displayed on running the check in of a document after the initial check-in. The document view option provides Bad request error when the document is checked in but not when the doc is checked out.Faults are inconsistent as in some times when trying to check in a new doc against a revision bad request is shown but others it is not same class same format different result.File path has been checked and verified in both application and Middleware.This has been identified as only be exhibited in a Clustered Environment. Further information:Connection method (VPN / direct access etc) ? Issue recreates for both VPN and direct connection Shared patch is accessible from both Primary and secondary node. IFS services are running using a domain account that has read/write access to the shared location. JPEG drawings won't print without first displaying a print preview.On trying to view the jpeg you can only prints part of the outline but not drawing however, if you first view preview the document and then print the document prints without any issues. Any ideas? Thanks.

In our project we are working with mWO App Version 10.11.1342.0 (Aurena Native).I have the following questions:For synchronizing data from server to the app do we still need the following Scheduled Database Tasks (were necessary for our previous version of mWO):•    Refresh Mobile Sync Objects•    Refresh All Inventory Parts•    Refresh All Purch Parts•    Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile•    Cleanup Mobile Work OrderPlease also provide an info for what purpose these tasks are needed (customer is asking for info).Thx in advance, BRHarald

We recently did a fresh IFS6 u9 install.  When we tried bring up the IIS service page we got a "mexHttpBinding" error.To get past this we had to add a new end point to the config file as below: <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange" /><mexHttpsBinding>          <binding closeTimeout="00:01:00"                    name="fsm609"                    openTimeout="00:01:00"                    receiveTimeout="00:01:00"                    sendTimeout="00:01:00">          </binding>    </mexHttpsBinding> Any ideas why we had to do this? and why this was not already in the config file? (Im not an IIS guy!)

We are now using the Service Quotation functionality. Upon accepting a Service Quotation this will generate a work order with pre-populate information, including budget costs/revenue. Within the Budget tab of the work order both Planned Cost and Planned Revenue fields are populated with data.  I would like to use these tabs on some quick reports, however when I query the WORK_ORDER_BUDGET_TAB these fields do not appear. Below is the Systems info page whilst on the Budget tab of a work order. The second screenshot is the table itself. Any ideas how to get access to these two fields?

We have an issue raised from a customer.They have made a simple config to the ‘Part Search Screen’.They want the  ‘Price Type’ on the ‘Part Financials’ tab to default to  option ‘2’From the UI they’ve simply set the value (see image).   The makes the web client work, but doesn;t affect the Smart client. Why, and what needs to be configured to make this work? 

Hi,In the release certificates flow, two system-defined airworthiness regulation codes are wrong since a while :. JAR_145 is obsolete since EASA was created. PART_M-145.A.50 is wrong : only Part 145 is relevant here, Part M is related to a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO). It must be PART_145.A.50Case G2037603-A is still open in LCS to handle it.. 

Hi,I want to create a .zip file from some of the attachments in Document Revisions screen using a JAVA code and opening an Outlook mail by adding that .zip file as an attachment.Since Aurena agent only allows one file at a time, how to implement this functionality for multiple files using a JAVA code in a projection in Aurena?Any suggestions?ThanksRegards,Tharindu

We are currently using IFS Report Designer for IFS9 and would like to use Doc Text to pull in messages automatically. Is there a way to have DOC Text automatically get pulled into a sales quotation for reports instead of adding it to each order manually?

We are looking to have more than one person see a report in Report Archive. Examples: Purchas Order, Laser Checks. With the current at home work situation for many people, we have people creating reports at home and another printing the checks in the office. Any ideas for a way to do this?  Thank you in advance for assistance,Andrea Ellis

In the PSO app params, some numeric values have a prefix PT and some do not. How do I know when that prefix needs to be used and what does it stand for?

Hello, We’re running the IFS Change Document Repository process in IFS Apps 9. In the ‘Move from Repository’ dropdown, it shows only those repositories that have status set to Usable. Similarly, in the ‘Move to Repository’ dropdown,  it shows only those repositories that have status set to Generating. What is the meaning of a Usable vs a Generating repository? 

Not sure what triggered this but all the lights in the monitor schedule screen have turned red. If i click Run Now they will run and generate the appropriate results. However we need these to run automatically as scheduled.Made sure all appropriate services were running on the server.The “Next Run” shows as yesterday Appreciate the help!   

Can you limit what document classes can be seen on a project?  Is this something that is possibly flagged when creating the Doc Class?

Hi After upgrading to APPS 10, we see that some document revisions have a new set of access lines with object Type = JTTask. I understand that this relates to Work Tasks and that the document is attached to a work task. However, I am not sure what this access lines does EXACTLY and which users will be granted access to the document based on that access line: BR Kristian

Hello everyone, I am new here and hope to get some help on my issue i need to download files for a dynamic list of docs + specific revision mentioned in that list. all in one go. can you please guide me how to do so?  what is important here is to perform this job inside IFS and not using any other 3rd party Excel macros and such. BTW ( using IFS 8 ) 

We use Tableau for IFS reporting and are looking to leverage the use of photos taken in the field to records and display damages to property.We want to setup a repository to store these pictures and I see during configurations of IFS you can change the document file directory. Is it possible to point this file directory to a network resource? if so, can photos taken and uploaded from the mobile eform be saved in the same document file directory?Anyone have experience setting this up?We are using APPS9 UD14  with mobile work orders and eforms.Thank you
