Is there any possibility in App10 to limit access to document folders in Document Management? For example, if a company is maintaining a document folder in IFS to keep some managerial meeting minutes and need to limit access to that folder for a limited group of people, is it possible? I am aware that we can define a document class and limit access to that class, then documents can be created in the folder using that class. In addition to that can we limit access to a specific document folder as a whole?

Hi Dilini,

No, that's currently not possible. It's something we could add by adding an access tab also on document folders that would control the access of all documents in it. We have got the question a few times but it doesn't seem that important. Possibly because, if we take your use case, it is quite natural to define a certain document class for such documents and get the access control that way.

It would be useful to have this I think.

Hi Mathias,  but is there is a way to limit the access to a document folder as a whole ? and specify a user as the admin over this folder ( he will be able to create/delete sub folders ...)  ?
