Solved

Our logistics manager would like to change the warehouse type on certain warehouses. These are all van warehouses, and we want the stock level on replenishment orders to change. This works well if we change the warehouse type in the database (not possible in the UI) - but are there other functions we need to take into consideration as well? Or is it just unadviceable to change this?

Can we transfer the Attached documents in Work Task screen to Work Order. Below is the settings i have configured in Object Connection Transformations but no luck.

We’re working with a client who is currently using Apps 8. Within their document management solution today whenever anyone approves a document the system creates a “Pop Up” message asking them to confirm that they really do want to approve this document. The client wants similar functionality in IFS Cloud which they insist is standard in Apps 8 I can find no way of setting this up within the system and have proposed that setting up the “Security Checkpoint Required” at the Approval Step level will provide a similar degree of confirmation of intent, but is there any way of providing this confirmation “Pop Up” prompt out of the box in Cloud

In IFS Cloud 24R2,I have come across this requirement and want to know if anyone has faced this before :In a structure, the Parent has a meter and all child objects also have a meter.e.g :Parent object - CarChild Object 1 - EngineChild Object 2 - Suspension When a New reading is recorded on the Parent Object meter, the independent child object meters should also inherit the same value.e.g : If the new reading value on the parent is 103, then the new reading value on the child objects should be 103 Not sure if there is a smart way to do this or whether it requires a configuration.

Hello,I often get the same question from our customers:"We want to be able to redeliver or invoice on the original order". Example: I create a sales order, I invoice and I have to issuea credit note because I made a price or qty error. I issue a credit note but I want to start again from the initial sales order. We agree that in iFS you can't reopen a sales order that's already been invoiced.     thank you for your help

Hi,My customer is implementing IFS cloud with the new Service Management functionality (NGSM). They would like their customers to have some way of creating service requests on their own. I am trying to figure out the best way of doing this at the moment.I think the old B2B solution is only focusing the old Work Order Solution. As from 25R1, I can see that Call Center enables the facility of creating new Requests (handover) as well. I would like to know if the B2B Call Center solution supports the “Request” handover yet? If not, is there a plan to include this functionality soon? (when?)Is the Customer Engagement functionality can be used for this purpose? If so, I would like to know some details about that as I am not familiar with this functionality. Any ideas, on how to get details on this?Best Regards,Athulya

We have noticed that Line Code items are consistently assigned a ‘Bill Cost’ of $1.00 and we are not clear on what is causing this behaviour.  The assumption is that a rule or parameter is making this calculation when the line code is added as a non part usage.  Can anyone shed some light on how or where we can default this to $0.00? Line code set-up with Unit Cost as <blank>  Thanks,Richard

Hi,If a Customer Return is completed with  Return Action: Exchange. The Customer Return does not shows up in Customer Return Billing Batch to move the Customer return to History, but it stays status Completed in non History table.I understand that this return action does not need to be invoiced, so it is not in Billing Batch.  But is it possible to move this To History table of will the returns always be in non History table as Completed? Thanks,Robin

Hi,Is it possible to register training participants in groups and not individually?Currently, to register several dozen participants, each must be added separately. Similarly with training plans.

Hi I have a couple of barcode printers (low volume) and I have successfully setup the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration to point to a single IFS Cloud environment by following the IFS Documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/020_install_print_agents/.  I would now like to connect the same printers to another IFS Cloud Environment.   Has anyone done this.  Is it possible to use the same installation of the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration?

Hello everyone,When reviewing past activities in PSO, we noticed that the displayed travel time is shown from the resource to the activity - instead of from one activity to the next, as expected.Do you have any idea why this might be?Could it be because the activities have been allocated (and not committed) and are in the past?Thank you!

Where can we get a listing of transaction codes from the ERPs to allow us to analyze which transactions we would consider “manual journal entries”. Are these codes subject to stricter control within and outside of the IFS system? Also does IFS APPS10 have the capability to implement a “park/post” feature that enforces segregation of duties for manual journal entry prep and post? Thank you,

When converting a Lead to a Customer, we ‘d like to make the Account No field read only or hide it from view, to prevent users from manually entering details. How do we do this in Cloud (23R1), is is possible?

As Part of a Service Management implementation we’re considering setting up the Service Technicians vans as a form of Mobile Warehouse but the Support documentation we’ve been able to find indicates that this is primarily intended for use in Part Searches, it makes no reference to what impact this would have on MRPIf our client manages some of the items contained within warehouse type VAN, will these parts be considered when MRP runs if they are also managed on a Safety Stock or Reorder point planning basis?

I use the Child Relation Editor to link to related tables without issue. In the example below I can successfully link to PRODUCT and use field form PRODUCT on this screen.  I now want to link to product_ext so the link would be stock_serial_id → product → product_extHow do I do that? I have tried the below.  However I get the error below when adding a field from PRODUCT_EXT so my linking method must be incorrect.  Any help on the correct procedure would be appreciated. Thanks,Barry
