Hi

I have a couple of barcode printers (low volume) and I have successfully setup the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration to point to a single IFS Cloud environment by following the IFS Documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/020_install_print_agents/.  I would now like to connect the same printers to another IFS Cloud Environment.   Has anyone done this.  Is it possible to use the same installation of the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration?

I have now managed to configure two IFSPrintAgent pointing to different IFS Cloud Environments on the same  Printer server.  In case this is of use to anyone the general overview of steps

Download the IFSPrintAgent into a folder and add Environment name to folder.  e.g  IFSPrintAgentSTG

Configure the first IFSPrintAgent as per documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/020_install_print_agents/#configuration_installation

However when in the Configuration screen change the id and add the environment name to the end.  Example below.

When you Install the service this will create a service (This name needs to be unique)

For the Second installation Download the IFSPrintAgent into a different folder and add Environment name to folder.  e.g  IFSPrintAgentUAT

Configure the IFSPrintAgent as above  documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/020_install_print_agents/#configuration_installation

However when in the Configuration screen change the id and add the environment name to the end.  Example below.

When you install the service you will have two services

You also need to change the port this install listens on before installing the service (each environment needs to be on a unique port).  This is configured in the ifs-spooler-config.properties file.  So my UAT is on 9300 and my STG is on 9100

This allowed both environments to run simultaneously.
