Dear Community Team, As the Taiwan KEYUSERS are not satisfied by the given translation in simplified Chinese it would be helpful to have a separate translation for TWN.Does IFS support this ?If yes how we can proceed with the request. Thank you and Best regards,Kalhari.
Hi There, I am looking for a solution to perform the revaluation of fixed assets as a bulk. In the real customer scenario they want to revalue 20,000 fixed assets, which is not possible to do manually one by one. Is there a possible way to perform it using external files?
Environment: Cloud 25R2Background: A overhaul of a truck is performed and the engine (Inventory part / serial object) is removed for repair. Time and Material is consumed to repair the engine. The cost of the repair should sit with repaired engine. How can this be achieved automatically?Currently when a Work Order is performed, it is possible to “Return to Inventory” and the “Inventory Value” has to be set manually. It does not use the time and material cost incurred on the work order. Is there any setting that can automate this.Regards, Malik
Hi, I’m trying to add a technical drawing to a released part. Im in Master part > Part and trying to add a previously created technical drawing. When i try to save i get the following error “Not allowed to change an obsolete part revision”. im unable to determine why this is occurring. The part is no obsolete and is marked as released. There is a previous revision that IS obsolete.
I have watch a couple of videos and read some articles of how IFS ECO-foot print can be used to perform analysis on the presence of substances in a product bill of materials, but i have not come across reporting on this. Can anyone share an example of a report for REACH / RoHS etc?
Hi all,I came across a statement in the documentation for the Catch Unit feature which says that enabling “Negative On-Hand Allowed” on the inventory part is mandatory. However, in my testing:I enabled Catch Unit on the part Did not enable “Negative On-Hand Allowed” Completed the full Order-to-Cash flow (Customer order→ Shop Order → CO delivery → invoicing)I did not receive any validation or error, and the process worked fine.Is the “Negative On-Hand Allowed” setting truly mandatory? Or is it only required for specific scenarios (e.g., shortages, partial picking, or certain transactions)? Has anyone experienced a situation where not enabling it causes issues?Would appreciate any clarification or real-use examples. Thanks in advance!
Enabling “Negative On-Hand Allowed” on the inventory part is a mandatory prerequisite for using the Catch Unit feature. However, during testing:configured an inventory part with Catch Unit enabled The “Negative On-Hand Allowed” option was not enabled I successfully completed the full Order-to-Cash process (CO → Shop Order → CO Delivery → Invoicing)No validation, warning, or error was triggered at any stage of the process.Concern:This behavior appears to contradict the documentation, which states that the setting is required. Is the “Negative On-Hand Allowed” parameter truly mandatory for Catch Unit usage? If yes, in which specific scenarios is it enforced? If not, should the documentation be updated to reflect the actual system behavior? Please advise on whether this is expected behavior or a documentation inconsistency.
Hello,In MWO service classic application, when we click on the main menu as shown below, it adjusts the layout of the dashboard screens to the right and displays the main menu list. It also had the ability to display the icons for the users to view the list without clicking on the menu.In the new MWO service application, the icons are not displayed directly in the screen and can be viewed only when the main menu is clicked. Also, the dashboard screen is not adjusted but the main menu overlaps with the screen as shown below. Please let me know if we will have the same layout features from the classic application mentioned above in the new MWO service application in the future updates.
Hi,When using expressorders (order code 5) - Is there in IFS Cloud (25R1) a way to ensure that all lines on a purchase requisition are converted to PO lines before the order is printed / sent out, even if the PR lines are authorized at different points of time?We have got this to work in IFS 10, but in IFS Cloud the first line is printed / sent out as soon as it has been converted. Thanks in advance!JohanNB! We have some customized functionality in this area that may interfere.
Community,How to fix below error?I am trying to connect a Repair Work Order to a superior work order which is connected to a project, i got below error message. We have a part which is usually purchased, but occasionally has to be manufactured. How do we set the Cost Template so it picks up both manufacturing and purchase order info.
We are currently implementing a workflow that allows us to create customer sales orders. Tests on a small scale are okay and we are happy. However, as soon as we move to a larger scale, the workflow crashes without an error. The dataset is composed of the same order that we create X times, so we know that we have no functional problems because iterating 30 creations, for example, is okay, but not 100.We have already limited the return of the projection as much as possible by using $select to retrieve only the desired columns. We have not exceeded the line reading limit per projection (10.000) (at most we read 5000 lines) and we don't think we have a problem with CASCADE_LIMIT because we set it to 250,000 for testing. We are more inclined towards a memory/CPU/space limit for the one of the pods.Do you have any knowledge of documentation or experience to parameterize the recommended memory or CPU or disk size? @dsj @kamnlk @IFS RD Product Management Thank’s in advance
Hi, We are looking at an integration with Boomi on Apps10. Using both the IFS and Generic REST connector we have an issue on the first Patch after it has not been used for between 6-10 hours, where it errors, but then retries and the transaction still happns.Does any one have experience of the ‘wake up’ process of the connector. It only happens on one specific process, which is fine at all other times.
Hello all, My client asked for the possibilities to :Visualize in supplier B2B portal attached audit or NCR to a purchase order. Share supplier evaluation with him on supplier B2B portalDo you have an idea if it is possible to do it please? Thanks for your help. Omar
Hi All, We can see associated Workflow Configuration of an assignment from MWO. However, this information is not visible in IFS cloud. I think that the ideal place to appear this is the Assignment tab of a Request Task.Further, “Surveys and Answers” are only visible once technician answer to specific surveys. Did anyone try to make this information visible in IFS cloud at certain place? Any work around other than configuration/customization?Customer Need: Dispatcher/Planner needs to see what are the triggered configurations and survey from the Backoffice.TIA.
Hi All,Please let us know what the meaning of Invalid Task Group, we are getting this multiple services
When using the 23R2 Dispatch Console for manual resource assignment for a customer who does not use PSO and has 4000 resources, is it advisable to use multiple datasets? What advantage would the use of multiple datasets bring without PSO? Is there is a concern that so many resources under one dataset would cause performance issues in the Dispatch Console even without using PSO? Couldn’t filters on Resource Group and Region sufficiently limit the number or resources hitting the Dispatch Console even with all 4000 resources in one dataset?
Hi We just received the message from a customer that certain Payment Institutes dont accept payment files with the Pain.001.001.003 anymore. will there be a new format available soon for Pain.001.001.009.?I know that Camt054 version 4 was released with update 15 app10

Out of curiosity, do any of you out there utilize Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) integration with IFS? We are currently on IFS9UPD10, but are preparing to go to Cloud 25R2, and any information on this would be useful. As you can imagine, it is a bit hard to find! Thank you in advance.
Dear experts,We're trying to add a new column to the 'Invoice' entity using the Developer Studio. During deployment, we encountered an error: "IFSAPP.INVOICE_API" has errorsORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "IFSAPP.INVOICE_API"ORA-06512:. This error indicates that the new column wasn't automatically included in the 'invoice_rec_' record type within the 'INVOICE_API' package. To work around this, we manually modified ('overridden') the “invoice_rec_”record type to include the new column. While this allowed the entity to deploy successfully, we're now encountering a new error in the 'INV_PROCESSING_TYPE_UTIL_API': 'ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small' in the customer invoice window. We're concerned about potential inconsistencies that may arise on the screen. Is this behavior a bug, or are we not advised to add new columns to the 'invoice_tab' table?Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello, When an E-invoice is refused (like cycle 210 - Refused), legally in France localization, it means the invoice is not valid and should be cancelled. It seems that it doesn’t affect the ability to pay the invoice. Is that a normal behaviour ? My understanding was that the invoice should be cancelled in the system and another invoice sent. Being able to pay the invoice doesn’t seem correct. Thank you
Clicking Share > Print on a purchase order created from a distribution order results in an error, “The operation is not possible for a purchase order created from a distribution order.”Is there a workaround or setting that will allow users to print a purchase order created from a distribution order?
As you ask in my CS0489055 : “This demand has already been identified and channeled to R&D. They should be releasing a new Service Update version to attend to this legal demand in the upcoming releases [...].”, I create this “question” to obtain the required response. => Description of the demand : The format of the issued DAS2 file is not compliant. Please find attached a descriptive document and a French administrative document confirming this in the case CS0489055. Please, what is the planned date for the next Service Update for version 24R1, in which the requested correction will be included?
Hi, My customer has created a page as an action in mwo and added several fields to that page. In one section they have created two fields; a LOV and a Text field. The customer wants to enable to Text field based on the value they add to the LOV.Ex: make the text field visible only if the LOV value in ‘Other’.This has been setup in page designer configuration in below manner and working fine there. However, the problem is that, this change does not apply to mobile. Any idea why?We have initialized the app, refreshed cache and disconnected and connected the app.Best Regards,
