Hi,The system is firing the below error message when I try to acknowledge the payment order which consists of a non-supplier payment. As per the error message, it is requesting to use the mixed payment screen instead. However as per the IFS online documentation, the ‘automatic supplier payment on file’ activity diagram shows that non-supplier payments can be done using payment orders. It doesn’t mention anything about using mixed payment screen for non-supplier payments.The IFS version I am using is Apps 10 upd 15. Appreciate if anyone could share your thoughts on this and advise how I should go about with processing non-supplier payments. Dears,Iam facing an issue, that when the technician logs in the MWO. On the PSO, the Failed To Logon exception keeps on, even having downloaded/accepted tasks on the technician´s mobile. The exception will clear only when the technician starts executing the activity or in the MWO->Service Status (ShiftOFF/ShiftON). Is it the right way when finishing shift should go off shift on mobile, then after log in the next shift go  On shift?

Dear All,When material is issued from MWo Maintenance as part of remote warehouse (Van Stock), MMR (Maintenance Material Requisition)will be created in IFS Cloud through sync process. Is there a way to identify that MMR is created through MWo. I checked if there is any column in the view or table but could not find any column which distinguishes between IFS Cloud and MWo MMRs.IFS Cloud Version: 24R2Thanks for your time and thanks in advance for your responses.Regards,Srinivas

Bookmarks on thin clients are being deleted but reappear immediately upon page refresh.This strange, cyclic behavior only affects users on a custom context page, and the bookmarks are not defined in their user profiles.  

I’ve just had a manager reach out to me and show me this phenomenon. When using any date column in cloud, choosing the between operator, if I scroll the list on the left and then select the date the list on the right goes down to 2099. Is this happening for anyone else? I’ve never noticed it if I click on the month in the left hand pane next to the calendar and select, only if I scroll.

Hello -We are on IFS10, update 23.  We are going to change our inventory valuation method from weighted average to standard costing.  I was hoping someone had a checklist of what needs to be done in IFS to make this change.  Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Hello community,Our client upgraded to 25R1 recently, and since then, for “lot tracking” part, an asteric “*” is filled by default in Register Arrival > Receive with Serial/Lots. Therefore there is no “flag” to fill up that number.Previously in 24R2, whenever the assistant Receive with Serial/Lots was opened, the field Lot/Batch No turned empty, which was forcing the user to enter the Lot No. It lead to the following misleading behavior:In case of “Receive to stock”, we get an error message after validating the reception confirmation pop-up (Your part will be received ...) : “a lot number must be entered for this part”. Obviously, since the Lot Batch No is  “*”.However in case

Hi Everyone,We have observed an issue in the Subcontract module in the 25R1 environment. Scenario: A subcontract, its revision, and items are created. A valuation is created, and ‘Valuation value’ is entered at the item level. When trying to receive the application, the following information message appears:“Application Total Values are not entered on some items.”  (Note: There is only one item available)  Current Workaround:Manually updating the Application Work Value automatically updates the Application Total Value. After this manual update, the application can be received without that information message.

Hello everyone,I’m trying to update the QtyToIssue value of a line with the QtyRemToIssue value from the header.I’ve created a BPA (Business Process Automation) that retrieves this value by calling the attached function.However, when I run it, I get the following error message:class java.lang.Integer cannot be cast to class java.math.BigDecimal (java.lang.Integer and java.math.BigDecimal are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')It seems there’s a type mismatch when the value is passed between the BPA and the function — probably because the field or variable is defined as Integer instead of BigDecimal

Hello all Is it possible within IFS to create a new assistant from a screen, such as Task Material. We have a case where our technicians may need to reserve stock. I’ve asked the question before, and the response was that you cannot reserve stock from the Task Material screen, however… the question here is… can we create a new assistant that would do it?ThanksJames 

Within the APB for a selected Shop Order we can see a list of the potential statuses and of which are applicable to it.However there is no way that we’ve been able to find that provides clear definitions of what each of these statuses actually means. If we use the Help button on this tab, it brings up the window below and if in the Usage section we click on the Show Status URL it provides no meaningful information. Hello,I’m wondering if there is a database task that I can schedule to remove External File Load IDs and/or External Voucher Load Information?I’ve looked in the Database Task page for a job that would accomplish this but have not found anything yet. I’m new to IFS and currently exploring the Excel Plugin in V8 and the Excel Add-in in IFS Cloud.I successfully created an Excel migration job for the COUNTING_REPORT view (Count Report Transaction), exported the data, made necessary changes, validated and executed the job using the Excel Add-in. The changes were reflected in IFS as expected.However, when I followed the same process for the COUNTING_REPORT_LINE_EXTENDED view (Count Per Count Report Transaction), the changes did not reflect in IFS after execution.Could you please advise if there are any specific steps or configurations required for the physical inventory process when using the Excel Add-in with this view? Hello,  I have a question about a think thing in the inventory part available planning. When we have adjusted order quantities, we have made changes in the lot size. But what happens in IFS when placing an order if there are also values entered in Min lot size, Max lot size, Multiple lot size, and Std lot size? Do any of these fields have a controlling effect? 

have noticed that occasionally the line description from a mixed payment is added to a SUPOA or CUPOA as a note, however this doesn’t seem to always be the case.I can’t work out how it is added to determine why it doesn't happen insome instances, can anyone shed some light on this?

Hello,How to set up auto-incrementation for a field in a custom entity? I didn’t see any option available in the interface.I saw that it’s possible to use a number counter, but I’m not sure how to link it to a field of my entity through the interface.  Thank you in advance for your help.

We are today using Finvoice2 for our EDI invoice sending throw Pagero. And will now also start send for Polen, since it are mandatory from next year. But Polen is demanding more information and filed that's are in the finvoice, have IFS build some xml file for this?

Hi! We’ve just started experimenting with Document Macros in IFS Cloud and see a great benefit of generating the view file when checking in the original document.But a colleague mentioned that Microsoft will deprecate the vbscript feature going forward, how will this impact document macros in IFS? The question was previously posted in the Foundation sub-forum, but I think it might be better suited here in the Document Management forum.  BRGeorge

Some customers will assess fines for a late shipment and will short pay the invoice.  What is the best was in IFS to balance out that invoice and correctly record the fine for tracking and GL?

Hello.The issue is with an old Mixed Payment from January 2025. Mixed Payment currency rate was set manually as 0,2465 EUR/PLN, instead of 4,2465(!). In result all transactions were calculated incorrectly and in the next MP a huge exchange profit amount appeared. More MP were created in the following months as somehow such a big amount stayed unnoticed until September… And here we are. In October, 2025 with one MP in August having unmatched transactions with parked payments created and we are unable to reverse all the MP to correct/cancel the one from January. As far as I know there is no standard way to fix it, so any suggestion will be precious for us since somehow we need to deal with this issue and correct the amounts in GL Balance. Thx.K.

Hello All,Thank you all in advance!I am trying to add Approval routing to the Assignments tab (JtExecutionInstance) in a Request Work Task.  I have successfully done this on the Request Work Task (JtTask) however the approvals will not show on the assignments. I have refreshed the cache multiple times and still does not work.  Is there a separate configuration I am missing? The MediaLibrary, Eventlog etc do not show either.  I don’t need those but they are part of the Default Definition which makes me think I missed something.
