Is it possible to add custom fields to a new case assistant? See screen shot below….I’ve added a custom field to the “CcCase” entity, but it is not visible here.  

I created an email notify business rule to send out a document when a status reaches a certain point. This is a custom field. I have connected the distribution list to the notification message for the wild cards and substitutions. This rule is now in production and working great.I am now trying to mirror this business and change the values of the variables for a different scenario. I have matched all those elements up to be the same, adding one extra substitute to the the distribution list. I turned on the business rule watch and all the parts of the business rule are firing as TRUE - which means the business rule should fire and do what it’s set up to do. In this case it is to send an email with an attachment to the people in the distribution list.Why would one BR work and not the other, even with the BR firing successfully?

We have an Advance invoice with an open amount of $219.58 and and Advance Credit for (219.58).  Is there any way to offset these in mixed payments?   

Has anybody experience issues submitting CIS Monthly returns and supplier verifications using the IFS Connect functionality in Apps 10 UPD13? error returned in application message Exception while sending data Caused by: java.net.ConnectException:Connection timed out: connect  

Once logged into the FSM Web client and launching the Schedule Workbench to open PSO, when the user selects a task and view details and selects FSM Task Info, this launches a new browser window but back to a new log in page even though the original log in session is still open and active.  Is there a way to prevent this and just open the selected task? Richard

We are trying to configure a shop order that allows operation to create asset and consume parts etc and create a cost. We also require to have a subcontractor to come on site and carry out a task. This task will have to link to a PO as the subcontractor will be invoicing for time and materials.I also need to consume a cost for any consumables used for the build by my company. The consumables are not needed to be track just a cost against them what would the best way to achieve this be please

Hi,Sometimes our suppliers send sample items to us at zero value which we have to raise a zero value PO for and then book in as “stock item”.I have been informed that when our stores try and GRN an FOC item it brings up an error message (I have not been informed what this error message is).We then have to amend the PO line to 0.01 so stores can book into stock but the supplier invoice will be for zero value.  This 0.01shows on the GRNI report and we have to write it off.Is there another way to book into stock at zero value please?Thank you,

Hi, Can someone tell me please why a business rule (process ID 10, standard rule) would fire selectively bqsed upon a task update. For example. if i change the status on a task record, the rule will fire on certain statuses and not others (i have the watch turned on for that rule)? What controls this? ThanksMartin

Last weekend we updated to 23R2, and discovered that after that we are not able to refresh a singel element. Does someone know if this has been changed in 23R2? Before the update we cloud just press on the element and and it reloaded, now we need to refresh the whole lobby.   

Hi, When we are opening a window in IEE for the first time, it often hangs for some time when checking for deployment location (See picture below). I found a similar post regarding the same issue, but I dont fully understand the given solution.Our build_home consists of only Core IFS without our customizations. In order to add our customizations, we build a delivery using the build.cmd script and then install the delivery on our IFS instances. The solution says that we should run a clean build through msbuild.cmd, but the msbuild.cmd is part of the build.cmd script. Should we run the complete build.cmd script by using the clean property when we are building the delivery? Or could we run build.cmd without running msbuild.cmd, and then run msbuild.cmd afterwards using the same delivery location? Should the generated delivery fix the problem once we install it?We are currently running IFS10 update11.

Is there a limit on the length of the Json payload that is supported by BPA Workflow - either in design time (load payload from file) or in runtime?

As per the current design of the IFS Group Consolidation design, we are not able to combine income statement accounts with balance sheet accounts in one IC elimination rule.What is fundamental rationale behind this design? Is there any accounting basis for it? There are some businesses scenarios where one leg in an expense account of a company whereas the other leg is in a balance sheet account of another company.For example, in reimbursements, one company will credit the amount to reimbursement account (Current Asset) and whereas it will hit an expense account in the other company.  So these kind of transactions will not be automatically eliminated as IC rule cannot contain both IS and BS accounts. What is the recommended approach (best practice) to handle such scenarios automatically?

We urgently need a mechanism in IFS to prevent ordering materials or charging time against a customer job with a credit hold.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how something like this could be done? I would appreciate any thoughts. 

Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is  Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see them in the drop down list for the column in the Report in Work Order screen. Can anyone point me to the solution to this problem please? Cheers,Neil.

I am looking to implement the supplier delivery reminders from the supplier record and have a few questions:what email address will the system send to?  how does the reminder get triggered?  can we specify specific sites or companies that would use this function? I am using apps 10. Thank you

A tax proposal is created and printing the summarize report.  It seems that the proposal is not picking up the Voucher K: correction on two tax codes.  Has anyone seen this before?
