Hi,Recently a new background job has started running weekly in our IFS Prod env, the job description is “Rebuild Materialized Views for IFS Dictionary” and the initiator of the job is me (and I don’t know why) The job is stuck in “Executing” status for atleast 8hours and I have to manually stop the job in order to process other things in the queue.Does anyone know what this job is and how i can stop it? BRJoakim

Hi everyone, I am on IFS Cloud 22R1 and I want to read my oracle database. I read in the IFS documentation that it was no longer possible to attack the oracle database via ODBC (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/040_tailoring/300_extensibility/600_integration/080_legacy_int_methods/#legacy_integration_methods).However, an oracle system account exists "IFSDBREADONLY". Is there any way of performing this operation (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/030_administration/010_security/010_users/#special_oracle_users_in_ifs_cloud)?Thanks for your reply

Hi, we have an Oil and gas customer that on the offshore rigs. They are using common pc with common os user logged, they have configured ifs with azure authentication with personal account’s. The issue is that the common os user performs automatic logon in IFS EE and fails due to that osuser doesn't have access in ifs. They actually wan’t the logon dialog to let the end user use their own azure accounts. Is it possible in any way to always force the OAUHT logon request to force you to pick an user account. Based on information i have you can add the parameter prompt=login to the authentication request to get the needed way of logon to ifs. Is it possible to configure such parameter in the logon process in IFS EE

In Apps 10, we use “select work tawsk template from Item Class” to reduce the number of options to select from. I can’t see this functionality in Cloud. Is it in the pipeline ?

Good day.  I would appreciate some assistance/clarification wrt the Compensation Rule in Expense Rules - Allowances: Two fields specifically: “Latest Departure” and “Earliest Return”.  The description for “Latest Departure” is “….. employee is required to depart at a time later than the time given in this field.  The description for “Earliest Return” is “…..employee is required to return from travel at a time earlier than the time given in this field.What would make most sence ito times to put in these respective fields if time of departure/return is not so important?  In my scenario allowance is calculated based on nights away from home/days in foreign country.  It doesn’t really matter what time the Employee departs/returns, as long as time was spent away from home.  Thank you.

Hi We are beginning our project to upgrade to IFS cloud, and are currently working a bit with the lobbies in IFS cloud (Our build place is at 23R2). In APPS10 we would create counter elements and then navigate to the data by simply providing a page, and checking “Use Datasource Condition”. But this does not appear to work, in the build place at least. Do we need to provide additional parameters in IFS cloud? We are selecting from the same page/entity that we are navigating to, so that should line up. An example is navigating to Tax Codes. we have tried navigating to URL: page/TaxCodes/List and to https://>hostname>/main/ifsapplications/web/page/TaxCodes/List. Both URLs have gotten us to the page, but neither seem to use the datasource conditionBest Regards

Hello In application 10 it is possible to add a custom directory to the root. how to do this in IFS CLOUD ?

I’m not sure if this is expected behavior of the Operation No field in the By-product tab in shop order, but I’ve noticed that linking it to an operation number does not change how the OH cost and Oper cost are applied to the byproduct. Is this the correct behavior? and if so, is there a way to only apply a specific operations labor cost to a byproduct? (the material is correct because it has it’s own cost distribution tab)in this example, 175237-057-R is the byproduct produced in operation 10. 

We have below situation: >500 EUR are deposited to our account without reference, invoice number or a customer number.>The payment of 500 EUR are fetched to IFS through the External Payment window, a Mixed Payment is created and the amount is booked as a CUPOA with the company as the customer.>After investigating we find that the amount has been wrongfully paid to us and should be resent to the payer.>The bank can only share with you the account number which the money was sent from.>The refund is created in the bank and a new mixed payment is created to refund the CUPOA of 500 EUR. As you see, there are no customers involved and the payer is unknown to us. Please advice how we can handle this through the IFS application

When a tool/equipment is connected to a serial object, work orders can be created against either the Tool/Eq Object ID, or the Equipment Object ID (part no + serial no). However only WOs to the tool/eq ID are registered in the WORK ORDERS tab in the Tool/Equipment detail page. Seems if there is a connection, the object ID for a new WO should only be allowed against the tool/eq ID, or WOs against the Eq Obj ID should also be registered in the WORK ORDERS tab in the Tool/Equipment detail page.Example

Community, I have below Kanban Demand retrieved, Simulated, and accepted. Please see below screenshot Kanban Demand window. My question is, on date 6/18/2024, 6/25/2024, Kanban should be replenished. is this replenishment automatic by system or we have to manually scan the barcode so as to trigger the replenishment order, which is purchase order as our configuration.

I was enabled in PSO yesterday and was able to login through the Smart/web client. When I tried logging in today, my profile was not enabled and I could not login. Do you know what may have caused this?

I have a normal PO with no associated Shipment, 4 No Part Order Lines - overall single occur Delivery Address, ONE of the lines uses the default delivery address.  Change Order created to change the price, description, and wanted delivery date on 3 of the lines and a new line is added using same single occur address.This PO was copied from another PO with pretty much the same information.When attempting to Update the PO, the ORA-20110 error appears. I don’t see ANY field in Supplier or PO called Delivery Type.  WHAT AM I MISSING HERE??

Hello, We’re in a process of building a customized context mapping for page GL Balance Analysis. I’ve setup a rule with the following data for context “TEST” , COMPANY = 220 AND USER != IFSAPP To my understanding, the context “TEST” should be now used as the default value, when the criterias are fullfilled and GL Balance analysis page is accessed (As they’re in this example). But this is not the case as one can see, the context global remains as the default value. Any ideas what could’ve gone wrong & get the desired context as default value to be displayed?

Hi Community, This may be a simple question, but I cannot find description anywhere. I have created a Workflow, that is run from a Custom Event, that is triggered from the New record in the Inventory Transaction History table. The Workflow executes, but as soon as it trys to use the values from the custom event in an API Read Call, it errors. I dont understand how to map the fields in the custom event, i.e. source_ref1, source_ref2, which are NEW:Source_ref1, NEW:Source_ref2 in the event to the Parameters in an API call. When the workflow runs, i get an error indicating that ${SourceRef1} is unknown. Is there anywhere that explains the mapping between the fields that are made available in the Custom Event, and what the syntax needs to be when passing these values to the API call, or do you need to intercept them in t
