We supposed to dispose of a fixed asset to get another vehicle. It means there are no cash proceeds involved, and we are getting a new vehicle instead of old one. However, when we use the sale of object option, we are getting different entries. We couldn't identify the loss of disposal transaction accurately. Actually, we expect below things from IFS.Recognize new vehicle. Remove old vehicles from the books recognize the loss.However, the expected results do not match the current setup of posting controls. How or where is the flag for “Is shop floor employee” checked in the manufacturing labor class tables? 

Suppose I have a resource (person) that’s in 2 resource groups e.g. Capacity 60% in Group 1, 40% in Group 2.Then i make a direct allocation of that resource to a Request Work Task for 1 hour.That 1 hour shows as a demand/load on both resource groups.  Is that correct? 

Hi All, We are in the process of migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud and I’m having trouble updating a particular user profile so that I can use it to access IFS Cloud. I have chosen one of the simplest users (minimal screens/functions available) which requires minimal modifications.I have allocated the appropriate, I think, Projections to a Permission set for this user but when I try to log on I get a number of popup windows with errors relating to Profile and Person info.See below:- Can anyone point me in the right direction to help resolve my difficulties with logging on to IFS Cloud please? Cheers,Neil. 

Can a financial project be closed and reopened more than once?  In testing, I’m having issues doing it a 2nd time, wasn’t sure if that might be due to customizations we have done or if that is base functionality to only allow a financial project to be reopened one time.

Hi all,We have CRM companion 10 touch apps and i need to know how you can a filter to the business opportunity in the mobile screen (not permissions) so a user can filter on status. When you click on filters on the bottom it just shows blank where as the customers button does show filter options but i cannot see any difference in their setup.I have spent a good deal of time looking around all the options and i cant see a way of doing it.Thanks

Hello Everyone,I created a custom attribute of type "Reference," which points to the project view. When I added the field to my page, it appeared as a hyperlink. Hello All, I am using IFS Apps 10 UPD 22, and I have setup and activated an Inventory Control Plan for a part that is currently in stock. I have scheduled daily checks, however, I have noticed they are not creating. I attempted to manually create one via RMB on the control plan header, however, I received an error message. I have confirmed I have the necessary permission grants. According to the help, I have completed all necessary prerequisites, and I’m at a loss as to why it would be generating an error. Hi,We are trying to unpeg a purchase order line from a purchase order that is tied to a project. (IFS Cloud 23.1) The order and line are released.  We get the following error We have also tried to disconnect the line from the project and receive a similar error.Is there anyway around this? Any help would be appreciated!

Getting the error upon reporting time in MY TIME CARD  

We’ve noticed some strange behavior with Control Plan triggers and SO status; it’s possible to have an SO header move to “Started” (which correctly triggers a control plan) but with a certain sequence of operations (If product is issued to a shop order, the SO header status goes to Started, then if it’s unissued goes back to Released, then re-issued, back to Started again)Below is an example of an order that spawned three Control Plans, but we’ve seen many more orders with just two. It looks like there’s no duplicate detection on the start shop order trigger; is there a better way to handle this? Is this expected behavior?IFS Apps 10 UPD 21  

Hello Everyone,I am trying to add a read-only custom attribute to the Report Picking of Pick List Lines page in Aurena (Apps 10). I have found logical unit that I need to add the attribute is PickShipment. I need to be able to use some fields in PICK_SHIPMENT_RES_STOCK_UIV. I have enabled the approved detail view. But when I try to add custom attribute after enabling this view I get an error as below.   For testing purposes I have used a field which is from base server as below then I get below error.        

Hi, Are there any improvements done in IFS Cloud when it comes to importing IPC files to part Eco footprint?Currently substances and emission per unit are imported to part specific emissions but  the HomogeneousMaterial name is not imported.We have customer requirement to present emission build up include  HomogeneousMaterial.We are currently on IFS 10 but plan to upgrade to Cloud next year./Anna

Hi All,We are receiveing the below error when pulling Service Quotation API. It gets to Quote D193 Rev 1 and then this error appears"<ERROR>        {"error":        {"code":"ODP_SERIALIZATION_ERROR",            "message":"Error while serializing contents."        }        }</ERROR> If we call just Quote D193 we do not get the error. We have checked the Quote in IEE and it is no different to the previous Quote in the API Call as far as Data goes.How can we debug this? Developer has used Postman but it does not detail which field or indicate if there is a character error. Thanks,Lisa

HI, I have created some shifts in the following way:Each Shift is divided into 3 parts:1. 00:00 - 07:00    Manual only2. 07:00 - 15:30    Overtime (0.5)3. 15:30 - 00:00    Manual onlyHowever, what I see in the Dispatch Console is not consistent with what I created in Ifs Cloud. There is an overtime in DC even when not required.In addition there is a difference between PSO and Dispatch Console. In PSO overtime is entered correctly, however I can't see a shift (15:30-00:00), even though this information is received correctly by PSO. Any idea why and how I can fix this? IFS Cloud VS PSOSh

We are encountering an issue with the launchEmailApp() function in our mobile client script. On MDM-managed devices, the function displays an error message: “No email client installed.” However, it works correctly on unmanaged devices. Current Behavior:The function works on unmanaged devices but fails on MDM-managed devices, displaying the error message.Additional Information:We are using Intune MDM. Hi All, Currently on Apps 10 - when a user cancels a sales quotation, the lines on the charges tab dissapear. Is there any way to prevent this happening? It is useful to see what the charges were should a user want to review the quote for any reason.

We are currently planning to launch MWO, but have noticed that a user gets logged out whenever it gets any error message in the application.If you are trying to add a tool that is already in use = logged out If you are trying to access a document but are missing the access right = logged outSo in order to continue the action you were trying to execute, you first need to go back to the home screen, press synchronize and log in again.This seems like a very strange error handling in the MWO and would just like to check if anyone else have experienced the same type of issue.We are testing the latest version of the MWO App (24.8.1292.0)

Hi All,We have a requirement to make Resource Monitoring Gantt to become read only in Apps 10 UPD 20 environment and I tried to achieve this using permissions sets. Below are my settings and my user only have this permission set grantedAnd I still can move the items and adjust the duration of work.Even after change everything to read only, I can modify the page. So I revoke all the changes and tried out again. And I can still view and edit the page, which was strange. I tried to refresh security cache, restart and re log in, clear browser cache and even using private browser. Still no luckDoes any one has idea on which other permissions/configurations I can a
