I have a user who periodcally searches and receives no results, but upon their second search a few seconds later (with the same query parameters) they receive results. Can anyone recommend a starting point to debugging this issue?

We had a customer set-up incorrectly to require delivery confirmation. The mistake was not noticed for several months and resulted in a large quantity of inventory reporting as inventory parts at customer.  Inventory transactions history recorded DELCONF-OU and DELCONF-IN transactions, but no DELIVCONF transaction. Our experience is the DELIVCONF transaction is created when the Delivery Confirmation of Customer Order is processed. Problem: The inventory that is incorrectly recorded as being at the customer does not show up in the Delivery Confirmation of Customer Order screen. Question: How do we confirm delivery of this inventory or otherwise record the cost of goods sold? 

Hello we are on Cloud 23R1 and just like in Apps10 Customer Order Type is not editable once the record is saved. This is probably our #1 frustration from our sales team. When it is imperative that an order type needs to be changed, we have our database admin run an sql update statement to change it in the database table. This seems to work, however are there any consequences from this process? And is there any other way to accomplish this? 

Hello all, hoping to get some insight here on Stage Payments. Is there a reason why Purchase Payment Type cannot be “Staged” when the Inventory Part on the External Service Order line is set to Exclude Service Cost? Has anyone experienced this before and have a workaround to get this? 

I believe there is a bug when using the “duplicate” feature on Supplier for Purchase Part screen. The “duplicate” button copies all information to a new record for you to edit and save. (We often use this feature to copy records from one site to another.) When doing this, all information copies to the un-saved record except Supplier Part No and Suppliers Part Description. Users must remember to manually copy these two pieces of information from the original record to the new record after saving. We have tested this is Apps10 [Aurena] and Cloud.Seems strange all other fields (Price, Min Order Qty, all Indicators, etc.) copy over to the new record but not Supplier Part information. This is very important information in our business and we are at-risk of losing this information when performing a “duplicate”. Why would these two fields not copy over when the duplicate button is used?

I previously used the POS environment and uninstalled it using the PSO installer. After that, I uninstalled the IIS and reinstalled the PSO. It installed without error. However, once I browsed the PSO event, I noticed a fatal error.System.ServiceModel.AddressAlreadyInUseException: HTTP could not register URL http://+:8744/IFS/Scheduling/Gateway/Service/. Hi, Heros,I knew IFS would allow to apply the credit notes if the total amount for the vendor in one payment order was higher than zero, but what about the vendor issues a credit note for whatever reasons and reimburses the money without additional invoice?  Is there a better way to handle negative supplier credit note if I don’t want to use manual voucher?  best,David 

We are in need of a bar coded tracking system for inventory and non-inventory parts. I have virtually no knowledge of IFS.  So if I could get pointed in the right direction to get some insight into our options it would be appreciated.  Ideally I would receive into specific locations and then we could track movement, and change locations with a hand held scanner.  I’m sure this option exists, but am at a loss on where to start. 

Hi,Historically we’ve always set the place_id_from on Part Usage to that of the FOR_STOCK value of the person record creating the part usage. At the minute we have a number of resources assisting different area’s due to the seasonality of various locations.We have built a process that see’s the resource is working out of a different location for set days, and as part of this process we’re triggering an update to mobile to perform_replication_for_table_and_person on the PERSON_PLACE Table. When this runs I can check the device and query that table for the data, and it shows correct. The problem I am having is that even though the table on the mobile has been truncated, when the technician is looking to use a part it’s trying to use from the previous place and not the new data that shows after receiving the update.Am I doing something wrong, or is my understanding of what should happen after invoking that perform message. 

Hi,We are in the middle of IFS 9 to Cloud upgrade and testing to make sure our Migration Jobs still work in IFS Cloud.We have a migration job in Apps 9 to migrate Supplier data to related screens and tabs. This job isn’t working in Cloud and throwing this error:Reliability_Status and Reliability_Status_Db are new columns added to Supplier → Address screen | Document Tax Information tab in Cloud, so we went ahead added both columns to our migration job and set default values. However, the issue persists.Wondering whether anyone has seen the same issue migrating Supplier data into Cloud before?

In 24R1, we seem to loose the ability to create the service request and service quotation on a MWO for the Old  Generation Service Solution.I can’t find on a release note that this was intentional. Can anyone confirm whether this is a bug or whether this functionality is now fully removed ?

HelloWe are using Apps 10.  We have had several instances of shop order requisitions that are fixed inside the Planning Time Fence disappearing one day and then, once MS is re calculated (normally a schedule overnight job) MS supply then pops up outside of the PTF to ‘correct' it, often that is leaving us with gaps in the production plan and also gaps in supply because of it. Is this a bug? Is it because they aren’t being converted to shop orders quick enough?
