When I move a functional object from a site to another, I’d like to be able to change also the object site. Is there any solution on IFS 10?

the site the object was created in will always remain the same. The site the object has moved to shows on the parent object. I don’t know for absolute sure but I think this is part of the key/UID in the database.
In the past we have either used the parent site in reporting or hidden the original site, so as not to confuse.
Cindy H. is right here. Site is a part of logical key for Equipment Object. Hence it is not technically possible to change it regardless of the movement. From IFS Cloud 22R2 onwards this was changed to a Object Sequence which could facilitate to reflect real Site Changes.
In APP10 there were good workaround approaches tried by different customer projects to overcome the situation.
