When I move a functional object from a site to another, I’d like to be able to change also the object site. Is there any solution on IFS 10?

+7the site the object was created in will always remain the same. The site the object has moved to shows on the parent object. I don’t know for absolute sure but I think this is part of the key/UID in the database.
In the past we have either used the parent site in reporting or hidden the original site, so as not to confuse.

+18Cindy H. is right here. Site is a part of logical key for Equipment Object. Hence it is not technically possible to change it regardless of the movement. From IFS Cloud 22R2 onwards this was changed to a Object Sequence which could facilitate to reflect real Site Changes.
In APP10 there were good workaround approaches tried by different customer projects to overcome the situation.
