Hi Community,For internal users, when we try to check the flag Customer Contact or add Country to a Person ID, message occurs “Resource not found”. Even if Resource exists.This change is possible in App10. What can we do? Is it a bug in IFS Cloud (24.1.4)? 

Hi,We have the below Clean Up Touch Apps Logs scheduled task and it has executed successfully.But when mobile device logs are extracted, there are records more than a year ago: Does this mean the scheduled task has not executed properly? Or is this task meant to clear some other set of logs?Is there a way to automatically clear device logs? Thank you!

Hello all, does anyone know where the message: “Time cannot be set for Earliest Start Date since Plan Manufacturing Supply on Due Date is disabled for part xxxx” comes from? Hello All, Here is my situation. I have a customer on Apps10 that has multiple remote locations (field reps) that hold fixed amounts of inventory, that need to be replenished frequently. The replenishment inventory comes from an FGI warehouse onsite. The customer services people use a spreadsheet to determine if a replenishment is required and then create transport tasks manually.I know that the easiest and simplest way to create is to use Kanban, however this customer does not own Kanban so we are trying to use Remote warehouses with replenishment via Putaway zones. The crazy thing is as I’ve tried things here and there I have gotten things to work on some parts but not others, and I can’t seem to find how I got it to work.I’ve included all my setup below, thanks in advance for any help:

We need to set up multiple Suppliers that provide a service transporting either Raw Materials or Finished Products into or out of our facilities. We’ve tried using a non-inventory part to represent the Transportation Service that the Supplier provides and then to link this to the supplier, but as there are either i) Multiple Suppliers that can be used to provide this service, or ii) when using them to transport Finished Parts there can be multiple parts. The maintenance of this data with multiple “Many to Many” relationships is both Complex and Cumbersome to maintain, is there a simpler way of doing this 

In Apps10 IEE, we want to use the Print Barcodes feature when receiving inventory from a purchase order. In the Register Arrivals > Receive dialog, we check the box for Print Barcodes, click OK, enter Number of Copies (1), click OK, then preview/print the report. The expected result is the report prints 1 copy. The actual result is the report prints labels in quantities equivalent to the Inv Qty to Receive (which can be many thousands of labels). How can we get the number of labels printed to be what is entered in the Number of Copies field?  

Hi all! I have a demand to manage Agile Projects (scrum) on IFS Cloud.I know that the module is structured for waterfall projects, but I would like to know if someone had this requirement and managed to provide a workaround to address it. Knowledge Base article KB0062660 says the issue with the Start Date field not updating PM Actions from PM Action is fixed in 23R2 and later releases. We’re on 23R1 SU16.Does anyone know if the Start Date field on PM Actions is able to update the field on PM Action (reverse of the knowledge base article) and if the format of the field is changed from Text to Date in 23R2 and later?

Hi IFS-experts,I am experience something strange when connecting a resource forecast to a project resource. On the Project Forecast the ETC value is 0 and, on the Resource Forecast the ETC value is also 0. When I make the connection between the Project Forecast and Resource Forecast the ETC value is recalculated to -99.382.My expectation was that it would be the same as the ETC in Resource Forecast and Project Forecast. I am trying to understand how the logic is working in IFS. If someone can enlighten my knowledge about how this should be working, then I would be very glad about that.

New to IFS Connect.Does anyone have any details of what needs to be done?I have tried creating a Reader pointing at the external SFTP Server and a Routing Rule. This is enabled but I am not seeing anything on Application Messages for this? What other steps are required?Inbound Routing Rule and Reader Set Uo Any help appreciated.Cheers,Graham

We are in process of upgrading to IFS Cloud for Apps 10, but transfer payroll files is not working. Payroll file for  overtime and absence is created empty…..  but the travel expense file is created correct.We have created a case to support, but it seems like they struggle to sort this out, and has not provided any solution either.  Anyone who has had the same problem ? if so has it been solved and how ?

Hello, how can I create in IFS quick reports filtering by som value even before executing whole table? For example, when I want to filter by some part no, something like this: 

We have been running IFS Applications since 1999 and we are about to go live with IFS Cloud… But IFS Cloud does not meet the Norwegian legal requirements regarding the travel expence sheet, when printed. We have sent the text of law to support… since they were not aware of this… ???? It is simple really, the employees address MUST be visible in the travel expense form, and the dates must be in Norwegian “settings”, dd.mm.yy     Why is this so difficult ?

Good afternoon.We use IFS 7.5. I created a new account. Completed everything the same as the other accounts in this category. But now in the Distribution and Manufacturing posting analysis screen I have 4 error codes ‘’Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M1 control type C32 code part A’’.This is for inventory parts  Can anyone guide what I did wrong?

I’m trying to create a WF to calculate the InventoryTurnover KPI.I’m executing a call to InventoryTurnoverRateHandling → GetCurrencyAndTurnoverRate. The call executes successfully if I hardcode the numeric params (from/to Period / Year) However if I wanna use the variables that I set in the previous step → ${fromYear} | ${fromPeriod} | ${toYear} | ${toPeriod} I get an error that Int to BigDecimal cast is not possible: When I look in API explorer I see the API call is expecting numbers. Which is what I already provide. Any ideas what I can do to execute the Projection call inside the workflow using variables and not hardcoded values?

Hello, I need help in concatenating SQL queries. My aim is to connect 11 columns together in one view or table. First 6 columns is from one view, column 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are from different views. How can I connect this columns together? Should I use JOINs or UNION? Hi community, our customer uses Excel add-in for creating and updating parts in different views. We are trying to create a new job including SUPP_BLK_PART view but there it stops and we can´t run the job in excel. If we remove the view it works. We have also tried and add other vires such as ASSORTMENT_NODE and SELF_SERV_PROC_CATALOG without issues but SUPP_BLK_PART cannot be handled. Have anyone any experience in this? BREmma

Is it possible to add a column to the “Open Requests at Place” popup that fires on the Request screen after entering a place_id? We want to add Request Type to the below. Looking in UI Designer I though this was the “OPENREQUESTSFORPLACELOOKUP” screen however it appears that is not the case. Hello,  I want to retrieve note_text from Shipment view, but it always will fetch empty string in IFS Report Designer, could you please give me advice how can I repair it? Hello - We are on IFS APP10 IEE - UPD 22.We have one use at one of our locations having issues printing. They will print a large batch job from IFS, and in the Print Manager the bulk of the job will get stuck in “Remote Working” while some jobs will end up in the Error Queue with the error “Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.”.  This one user is reporting this issue frequently lately. I have seen this error a couple times for other users, but not repeatedly as it is for this one user. I’ve Googled this error and it appears to be a Windows message? Is it credential related? Does anyone know how to resolve? If I go in and clear the errored jobs, and then RMB >  “Restart” the jobs in Remote Working, then they will spool.
