Is there any reason why multiple Build-Homes can’t be used in the Remote Use Place to manage multiple Middle Tiers? For example, one Windows server would have multiple “ifsroot” directories, each one would be pointing at a different set of servers.

I have found the following article Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on IFS Cloud Remote Deployment | IFS Community however it is 3 years old and refers to 22R1; does the same apply i.e. Logging would be the only issue or has that changed in later releases?

Hi @DRowland,

As per my knowledge this is not yet officially supported, but technically speaking, there is some workaround you can make this work. There you can have multiple ifsroot directories configured and running under same windows management server. Please refer to the following.

However, there is also a limitation on the PowerShell libraries installed which is always it is one version per Management Server, which will be a issue if the multiple ifsroots are in the same management server, and they are of different versions of IFS remote infrastructure.

Best Regards,
