I have introduced new overhead cost and my posting controls are run on ‘Posting cost groups’. As the purchase arrival transaction went on to Erroneous status I have ‘modified’ posting cost group and rerun Erroneous distribution and manufacturing postings.I noticed that  inventory transaction does not pick the posting cost group even after run erroneous postings. My posting controls are dated back. New purchase receipts done after update of the modify posting cost groups works fine. Can somebody advise on how to fix the transaction happened before modifying the posting cost group?Thank you

Hi Community, A MWO user is having the below failed transactions constantly.  Reviewing the screenshot below, the transaction time is different from the start time. How can we resolve this kind of failed transactions so that it will be happening again?  ERRINV: ORA-20105: ActiveSeparate.ACTSTARTISLATER: Actual Start is later than todays date for work order 22152.  The MWO app is showing a different time as shown on the screenshot below.     Thanks and l look forward to your input.Mesh 

Where is handling unit traceability in IFS10? If a handling unit is created from another handling unit, where is that from- to- handling unit information stored?  I don’t see it in inventory transactions history.  

Hello, I would ask you a questions about implementing SQL Select Statement into Custom Attribute. My task was to find list of all items, which have no parent item, respectively which do not enter anywhere. My SQL Select Statememt is working in Oracle db, but when I add this query into Custom Attribute Type, it will display me this error. I dont know what parameters should I input to the Arguments field.  Thank you for your help. 

Does anyone have a great grasp on cycle counting within cloud? I used to do it within Epicor and it seems much easier than how IFS does it. Specifically locking inventory on parts and specific moment, not just when they are added to a count report. We are counting 50 parts a day for the rest of the year and I am hoping to make it as quick and painless as possible. David

Hi Application timeout logs out users after a certain period of inactivity. Session timeout, on the other hand, determines the duration of maintaining a connection when users access IFS Cloud in a high availability (HA) configuration, connecting to either server #1, #2, or #3.Could you please provide information regarding the current values for both IFS session timeout and application timeout in the HA configuration?Currently, I believe the application timeout is set to 60 minutes (the duration after which re-login is required if no activity is detected). In this case, what should be the appropriate setting for the session timeout value? Should it also be 60 minutes, or should it be set to a higher value?I'm asking this question for clarification and confirmation due to concerns that if the application timeout time (e.g., 60 minutes) exceeds the session timeout time (e.g., 30 minutes), there might be instances where users are redirected to another server before being logged out due to

Hi All,In IFS CLOUD 23 R1, is there a possibility to refresh the client form following a custom event action? In one of our customer’s Application, a custom event action will change the PO status following some updates in the form. Hello everyone On the image above i have changed the validity of some characteristics ( Active > > Hidden). It doesn’t make any changes on the configuration creation screen. It still asks me the hidden characteristics. And then  also  i changed the mandatory characteristics  (YES >NO) it still gives me the option to choose from hidden characteristic values from list of values. Can someone tell me the functionality of the validity value “Hidden”. Thank You.

HIST_REC_LIMIT_MEAS is the maximum number of historical measurement records to be transferred. Customer has set this parameter to 3, so they will only see 3 historical records and that’s fine. But the problem is that on mwo the customer could see the oldest 3 records.  But we believe that seeing the oldest records is not important but seeing the latest 3 records will be more important for the service Engineer. Could you please explain why it has been implemented like this or is it a bug?

Hello, We are using IFS Apps 9 and need to mass update suppliers that haven't been used in the last 10 years. We have around 4000 suppliers that need to be updated. I attempted to update the SUPPLIER_ENT table using an Oracle query to set their expiration dates, but encountered a read-only view error.Could you please advise on which view allows us to update the "Expiration Date" of suppliers? Are there any alternative methods to achieve this aside from using a backend query? Thank you!

Is there a way to limit locations to a single part?Specifically, when a location has been picked to empty, nothing else should be receipted into that location apart from the original part. Is there any way to achieve this in APP9?

We have tried running the clean up scripts and deleting the contents of the 2.0 folder on their user profile but this has not resolved the issue. I have logged into IFS with their accounts on my PC and everything works correctly, but when I log onto their PC with my IFS account I also experience the same errors. Some of the errors include:Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.ArgumentException: Unknown form template class: tbwMaterialAlloc. Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Interfaces.FndFeatureNotFoundException: Navigation target i_hWndFrame is not to be found in the dictionaryThe current work around is for users to connect to a terminal server and run IFS from there.Has anyone else experienced this problem on screens including Shop Order

Hello,I’m encountering an issue where some users can view attachments without any problems, while others don’t even see the “eye icon” as an option. I’ve been investigating the cause but haven’t had any success so far. Could this be related to a missing projection, or might there be another issue at play? This is an example of the eye icon appearing.This is an example of the eye icon not appearing.

Part Serial can be connected to a Rental Fixed AssetYou can make a Part Serial ‘Maintenance Aware’ and by doing so create a Serial ObjectThis Serial Object can be connected to a Fixed Asset Now our general approach is to make Maintenance Aware in the same company that owns the Fixed Asset. How can I correct it if a user has manually made a Part Serial Maintenance Aware in a wrong company? E.g.Fixed Asset owned in France Part Serial linked to this Fixed Asset  Part Serial Make Maintenance Aware > you can choose in which company For this particaul car it is wrongly 1001 while it should have been 1011 Denys France SAS, then the Serial Object should be connected to the Fixed Asset A791100003 in 1011
