We are working to get to a point of using the IFS Bank Reconciliation, but need to mass update existing transactions from the past several years.  (Reconciliation was done via spreadsheet outside of IFS)I am able to pull the data into the Migration tool, updated the Matched field only, but when I try to validate or execute I get the following error:   Field [IDENTITY] in Payment Transaction may not be modified.We are not changing the Identity field, is there something that can be done to make this work? 

Schedule of work estimate change management - We would like to use SoWE for change management as this requires a greater level of detail than that in the Sales Contract.  The customer has a very specific need for presenting invoices which does not align with the detail in the SoWE.  I am aware that change management can be achieved with SoW Production, however, this does not allow you to update the Sales Contract by Contract Item.  It seems that at this point, it can only be done if the Sales Contract is set to ‘Contract Change Order Change Capturing Level = Cost or Revenue Element’Could anyone explain this behavior?

If you’re using the Barcode ID functionality when receiving goods, and also use automatic netting between activities, the barcode ID will become useless the moment the quantity in stock is moved either from standard inventory to a project activity or between project activities. This is since the Barcode ID will have a connection also to the project activity where the part was bought or made.Any ideas on a solution to this problem? Re-labeling is difficult since the netting is done automatically. And I cannot see any way to make the Barcode ID functionality ignore the activity seq key, e g when using WaDaCo. Updating the Barcode ID when the netting is done also seems a bit problematic - maybe not the whole quantity is moved etc.  

Hello Everyone,I created an IAL using the IFS Object page in IFS Cloud and granted access to IFSPRINT. I added a field from this IAL to a Crystal Report. When I preview the report in Crystal Reports, all values are displayed correctly. However, when I run the report from the IFS Client, the values from the IAL do not appearIs there any reason why this is happening?Kind Regards,Sandun  

Cloud 24R1: We get an error when we add an user to an user group in AD. Still the user is in IFS added to the user group.  Steps taken:create a new user in AD and sync to IFS → works greatcreate a new user group in AD and sync to IFS → works greatAdd the user to user group in AD and sync to IFS → in IFS the user is added to the user group but in AD we get and error message:StatusCode: InternalServerError Message: Processing of the HTTP request resulted in an exception. Please see the HTTP response returned by the 'Response' property of this exception for details. Web Response: {"schemas":["urn:ietf:params:scim:api:messages:2.0:Error"],"detail":"null","status":"500"}. This operation was retried 1 times. Hi,Does IFS have a dedicated screen to automatically match Credit Card transactions to expenses? Similar to Automatic Transaction Matching for bank reconciliation. Occasionally, the Authoriser is unable  to authoriser an Expense Sheet as the error below appears. The Pattern for when this appears, seems to be if the Employee has deleted an expense line, or other changes made such as Changed of Cost, Project or ORG Code.  I have looked and access seems correct - and sheet has the correct information.  Can any one help, why this error is appearing - Seems some issue in the background - for when a change is made on a sheet   

I have a question regarding splitting Shop Orders. Is there a solution in IFS Cloud to split an order with a lot size larger than one into multiple orders in one and the same operation? As I understand it now, this has to be done one by one.

Hi, We’re implementing the CRM module and I want to generate automated notifications-by email- that would be sent to the main representative in a Business Opportunity. We’ve created a custom field called “follow up date” which as the name states it is the date at which we should follow up with the prospect/customer. The idea would be to send an email reminding the rep to check a BO 7 days before the follow up date so they don’t forget any BO. Here are the conditions: Status NOT IN (‘Cancelled’,’Closed’) CF$_Follow_Up_Date <= sysdate+7How would you achieve that ?Thanks! PS: we’re running on IFS Cloud 24.1.4

We are generating a Sales Contract to enable AFP.  We then link that Sales Contract to a Project and in turn generate a Schedule of Work Estimate (SoWE) from the project to allow us to build out the estimate.  Having built out the estimate, we connect to the Sales Contract and send over the data from the SoWE based on Revenue Sub Project lines.  So far, all good.  The Sales Contract Revision and Items contain the data based on what was sent over from the SoWE.  However, when we select items within the lines and choose the button option ‘Activities’, there are none showing. The Customer would have expected to see the connections as when passing over from the SoWE, there is an option that says ‘Update Without Project Activities’ and we do NOT activate that.    Instead, we find ourselves having to make the connection manually. Is there a way to connect them automatically? What is the function of that toggle?

Hi IFS 10, Have a leasing contract , that are in use and recognition posting against FA- with 5 term. Now are the leas contract change - to be shooter - so er need to take away the last terms - we have modify the schedule - but can not take away the period for the last term or the last term ….   How to modify a leasing contrat to be shorter ,,

Hi All,When employees are applying for absences, it is mandatory to attach a supporting/proof document for the absence type of Medical Leaves. For the other absence types, it is not mandatory. Do we have any standard core functionality in IFS cloud to make attachments are mandatory for specific absence types when absence registration.Regards,MalinG.

hello,We have a fixed asset object which is activated in year 1 period 6. This is a 5-year asset using MARCRS 5-year depreciation table (1st year 20% depreciation, 2nd year 32%, 3rd year19.2% 4th year and 5th year of 11.2% and final year 5.76%). The asset is activated and depreciated for year 1 and 1st month of year 2. In 2nd month of year 2, additional cost is added to the object. Now if the object is depreciated for remaining life, the total % depreciation amount does not line up with 5-year MARCRS depreciation table (1st year depreciation is now 18.56%, 2nd year is 32.34% etc.). Is there a setup in IFS that automatically performs a “catch up depreciation” operation such that the total % match the 5-year MARCRS table. I tried using add investment, add acquisition value and other operations but did not get the desired results. This testing was done in IFS cloud 24R1. 

 Hi all,I have a Fixed asset and I received 2 credit notes that are supposed to decrease the acquisition value.I registered the first manual supplier invoice and updated the GL.Then I went into the screen Add Investment. I have found the corresping line in the screen Add Investment progress.Then I registered the second manual supplier Invoice, also updated the GL/But nothing fetch into the screen Add Investment… for this Credit noteany idea why.As you can see the first line remain at the externally created status… and need to be activated.  

According to the current behavior of the IFS system, when creating a payment proposal using the ACH payment method that includes both debit and credit invoices for the same supplier across two companies, the system does not consolidate the amounts into a single total for that supplier. This behavior is observed when the debit and credit invoices belong to separate companies.Due to the discrepancies between the Calculated Total and the Batch Total in the ACH file, the ACH file validator has rejected the file as incorrect.Above issue has been demonstrating by using an example below.Create/select manual supplier invoices as per below combination. My sales team is using Sales Quotation and is requiring the team to complete the Request Receipt Date field before the quote can be sent. They wanted the same field on Business Opportunity (custom field created) to feed this native field. If the salesperson forgot to input a date on the BusOp, they would still be able to on the Request Receipt Date on the Sales Quotation. I have been unable to figure out how to have the field on the Sales Quotation populate with the date entered on my custom field on the BusOp. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Hello,our current client met a problem. When changing operational status for equipment object in Equipment Object Navigator, the cusor jumps from the equipment object in which the function is executed, to the top of the equipment object structure.We cannot repeat the same situation, but the client provided the video record where we see that cursor jup to the top. It is very uncomfortable, if the structure of the object is very long, it is needed to scroll down again and search for that object in all the structure.The client and we use the same browser Edge, so it cannot be the reason of browser.
