We have a business case where the Business Development (BD) department have the responsibility of managing company assets used in exhibitions, trials, training and testing.

The assets are a mixture of purchased and internally manufactured parts. Each asset that needs to be managed is allocated a unique asset number by BD and held on a register within BD.  

What is required is the following: 

• The ability to schedule the allocation of an asset to one of the above activities (exhibitions, trainings, trails, testing etc)

• Allocate an asset to a responsible person for the duration of the activity 

• Record its location 

• Have a record of any applicable servicing and calibration intervals
