Our security grants in Mobile Applications are for MainEngApp 24 . Many of our users mobile clients have been updated to v25, but not all of them. What impact does this have on performance of the mobile application? Do we need to create a new application within IFS for v25 and grant security to it?

We are encountering a situation where a specific Customer Order Type (COM) seems to be forcing all associated Purchase Order Lines to 100% discount. When the discount is set back to 0%, it automatically updates in the background back to 100%. At first, i assumed this was custom functionality in our instance, but i’ve been unable to find any custom events or workflows that are triggered on PurchaseOrderLine or PurchaseOrderLinePart. While in theory this makes sense (Commission orders having 0 cost), I can’t seem to find any place in IFS where we would have set up this functionality. Does anyone know if this is native? When i check in the PO Line History, i can see my entries for setting discount to 0%, but there doesnt appear to be anything setting it back to 100% in the history, so it is happening in the background somewhere. Any ideas on how i can track this down? For reference, we are currently on IFS Cloud 25R1.3

Hi ,In cloud 25r1 does anyone know why the SHIP option does not come for inventory parts in RECEIPTS screen but appears for NO part lines? The option only shows in Detail screen 

I have created purchase order , added part lines then release the purchase then receive it from register arrivals also i have performed quality inspection in which my receive case was receive at arrival inspect at QA . When i’m registering inspection result shipment lines are not been created automatically.How to resolve this?

Does anyone use any type of performance tracking dashboard for supplier invoices.  Idea would be to show number of invoices in query, breakdown by various sites/suppliers/queries etc and show trends over recent weeks and month on number and clearing times?

Hi,We have imported several thousand Request Contracts using DMM. They are at status ‘Planned’ and we want them to be Active. Is there any way that we can automate making these Active? Presumably we need to update objstate and/or state fields on sc_service_contract but these fields don’t seem to be able in the mapping. 

Having IFS Cloud (24R2), I am facing the problem that final invoice has incorrect values in the quantity. Difference is rather small (less than 1%), seems as incorrect rounding, but still, it is not the expected amount.I have a consignation stock with material. Customer reports what they have used. Based on that, I am creating a collective invoice mapping correct lot-batches, etc. (Catch qty is not used.) We are storing meters, selling kilograms. Error did not appear every time, rather randomly, with no obvious reason.Any useful idea?

Hi,  Unlike PM Actions in FSM when a Request is generated from an Recurring Service Program it is created into Status Released automatically.Below I’ve created 4 scopes from an Recurring Service Program (Object Based). As you can see these Requests and Scopes have automatically been Released. I do not want this to be the case I’d like to keep them in “New” status for them to be reviewed by a Scheduler (just like PM Actions). Is it possible to configure this behaviour (within the application) without a customisation?

Service delivery unit is not fetched from the object when a handover from case to request iscreated.Current status:When a request is created via Handover from case to request, the ServiceDelivery Unit gets the wrong value. The service delivery unit seems to fetch the default value instead of the current value from the object.Problem: The wrong service delivery unit is shown on the request.expected Correct Functionality: When a request is created via Handover from case to request, theservice delivery unit should be retrieved based on the value of the current object, samefunctionality as when you manually create a Request. 

Hi everyone,We’re currently looking into whether it’s possible to add additional fields to the Safety Incidents wizard in IFS Cloud (versions 24R2 or 25R1). Our goal is to capture a few extra data points during the incident reporting process. For example - We would like to bring the damages section into the wizard as a new step.Is wizard customization supported in these versions? If yes, what’s the recommended approach? If not, are there any workarounds or best practices for achieving similar functionality?Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,We have noticed that when a warehouse task is created for a shop order pick list, it is automatically splitting the pick lists by location group even when the materials are in the same warehouse and we have the pick lists per set to warehouse only. The location groups are all of the same type picking, but still it gets split. If we do not choose the option to create a warehouse task then only one shop order pick list is created but by toggling on the warehouse task field the pick lists are always split by location group.I have tried adding and removing location groups to the worker group and worker, but it always splits the shop order pick lists when multiple location groups are involved.We cannot remove the location groups from the warehouses as these used for other tasks such as counting, CO picking, etc.  Any ideas on how to maintain one pick list per warehouse without warehouse tasks splitting them would be appreciated. Thanks

We have recently had a problem printing count reports.  We print the reports using the part number, and we have encountered an issue where some parts are printing and others are not.  They do not even show up in the print manager it is as if we didn’t try to print at all. Please Help!

We have configured Supplier B2B in our development environment, and we’ve witnessed that when a supplier pushes through a change, we do not see the change on the incoming purchase order confirmation.  We see the note a supplier has left, but do not see any QTY or PRICE changes on the change order or purchase order. Has anyone else seen this happen? We do have allow changes for this supplier enabled (common fault I’ve seen on this forum). We’re on Apps 10 UPD 20. 

Hello Community, I hope you're all doing well!I have noticed that when navigating certain pages in our Tech Portal, the record selector  automatically appears. This can be quite challenging, especially on smaller screens like iPads or mobile devices, as users have to manually hide it each time, which can be cumbersome.Is there a way to set the record selector to be hidden by default across all screens in the Tech Portal? Hi AllWhen i create an expense sheet and connect it with a project, IFS creates me a PRJC1 and PRJC2 posting additionally. It actually makes no scense to do this. The posting Control for expenses allready creating cost postings. How do i prevent IFS from creating Project Transactions for expenses?

Hi everyoneWe are upgrading Cloud from release 24R2 to 25R1. This is the first time we are upgrading to a new release with Modifications. We did 24R1 to24R2 with no mods previously.We have completed the first stage of the release process and run the Impact Analysis through the build place. We have  used the ‘Download Report’ option to get the various files generated as part of this process- excel, pdf, JSON and Source files.Should we now be using the update Analyzer tool to review the files generated from the Impact Analysis before we move on to the ‘Request the Release Update’ stage? In our IFS environment (version 25R1), I’ve created a custom field on a custom entity through Entity Configuration. The field is numeric and defined as a currency type.However, in Page Designer, the value does not display with currency formatting—whether I use the new computed field with currency formatting or the direct currency attribute. Standard currency fields appear correctly formatted, but this custom one does not.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a solution? Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Why are standard entities added to a projection configuration read-only? In the documentation, Known Limitations - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud, it is noted that "Standard entities added to a projection configuration are read only, [and] hence do not support [CRUD] operations."There are many useful customizations that could come out of allowing for the configuration of CRUD operations between standard entities that are newly configured on standard entities. From some research, it seems that the reason for this decision may be due simply to protecting IFS business logic, preventing breaking changes, ensuring allowed versus unauthorized operations, and abiding by the intended design of the system (of the standard entities).If anyone

In IFS, each HSN code is linked to a single HSN Group. Because of this structure, it is unclear how to handle cases where the same HSN code requires multiple GST rates (Example: multiple suppliers issue invoices with the same HSN code but apply different GST rates). Creating duplicate HSN codes for each GST rate is not aligned with standard compliance practice, as HSN codes are classification identifiers and should remain unique.Guidance is requested on the recommended approach to manage this scenario within IFS.
