Hi all,where can a Package part number actually be used?We trying to use a Package Part in the material Tab of a Request Work Task, but does not seem to work.It cant be added as a sales part in a contract line of a Request Contract as well.Can this somehow be used in anything else than a direct Customer Order?Thanks,

How do I find out where some errant forecast is coming from? On my MS Set 1 the forecast 0 is totaling zero, but the forecast 1 is totaling 992 pieces. I revied the other MS sets for the part and none of them have forecast. 

Hi,The ‘Report Format and Output’ dialog after clicking the RMB option ‘Print Order Confirmation’ in a customer order is working fine in apps10.But in apps 7.5 this does not appear, I was wondering if this was not implemented in apps 7.5 or is there way to enable this option?Thank you in advance!

Hello. I am trying to set the business unit code part for FAP75. One of the available control types is AC2 Pre posting. I believe the source is the Lease accounting contract, but I cannot seem to find a section there that has pre-posting details. I would appreciate it if anyone could point me to the right direction.

I have a customer scenario involving PSO where they need to schedule jobs that run continuously for several days—some even lasting more than two months. Each job requires only one resource, but it must operate 24/7. Currently, they assign two resources per job: one works a 12‑hour day shift, and the other works a 12‑hour night shift.For the initial assignment, they want PSO to select the resource who is geographically closest to the activity. Dear Team,We are having a situation, where business never executes the capitalization before and from 2026 January they have a prject with periodical capitalization setup and when we try to create periodical capitalization for period 1, with proceedure id created for accounting year 2026 and P01. However, system picks the cost transactions from previous year, as there are some manual postings posted last year.Is it normal behaviour of system, even though we have given accoutning year and period in the proceedure id, system still picks some cost postings from previous year that was not capitalized?

Sales Contract requires Customer Delivery Delivery address for Tax defintion - suggest  support  for countries/Tax beyond  India Localization.Customers in ECI using Sales Contracts and Project Invoicing have a need to define the Taxing delivery address by contract. This is being reviewed as a CRIM by a customer in the US. On review with Global presales and looking at the roadmap I noticed this function fundamentally exists for India Tax Localization. Several of us have reviewed this along side the CRIM specification - included Project R&S and they are very similar. The requirement is not limited to Sales Contracts Tax reqs in India  but applicable to Sales Tax , GST and VAT tax based regimes and countries.The concentp means applying an address details tab on the contract that calls deleivery address and tax rules from customer master - so we can define the taxing rule on that contract for that addre

We have a customer that has Serial Parts as Company Owned:  Some of them have outstanding work orders on them but we would like to move them from Company Owned to "Company Rental Asset" and Current Position to "In Inventory" so that they are available to rent to customers.  What are the steps to do this en masse? 

Filtering of Custom Attribut Links is not supported. The $filter is missing when a custom field attribute is used as a link (reference), see attachments.Business Impact: This malfunction treats us to work with two tabs and always copy and paste the desired value in the filter line of the new tab. This is a lot of clicking and the userbilty suffers dramatically. Another way out is to have acustom command that takes over the filter in the jump action. Nevertheless it is hard to explain to the user why cartain (standard) links work well whereas others (ustom) surf to the correct page but without filtering the correct element. When does IFS solve this misbehaviour?Thnak you!

Hi all,I have a question regarding the possibilities of BPA. We have a customer that would like to see an informative message if some conditions are met. This means we are going to compare two values and if they are different from each other we want to inform the user of this. In BPA we have the Validate type which can be used to perform a validation. Except when using the “Terminate End Event” in the workflow the workflow will block the user from saving the record as this is an error message. Is there another way to do this validation, but not to show an error message but an informative message? Because we still want to save the change. Since the check is on a custom attribute, I found out that a custom event on the custom field table with online SQL is not working. The Client_Sys.Add_Info is not working in that case. That is the reason we are looking at BPA as a solution.  Kind regards,Michael

HelloIn 25 R1, When a Work Order is linked to a Project Activity and a Work Task is cancelled while still having assigned resources and material lines, the associated committed costs continue to remain recorded against the Project Activity.The key concern is that these costs are not automatically rolled back to reflect the cancellation of the Work Task.Could someone clarify the recommended approach to correctly adjust or reverse these costs at the Project Activity level to ensure accurate project cost tracking? Hello,I have a requirement to print a barcode of type Code-128, and narrow bar width oof 0.025cm. Even though the barcode is printed, the scanners won’t pick the value properly. I have set the bar height as 0.4cm. This is to print maximum of 7 characters. This is to print serial number for parts that supposed to be sticker labels.Is there a limitation for this in IFS Report Designer?​@ChanakaAmarasekara do you have any inputs on this?Thanks.

We are evaluating using 3 part numbers for our rebuilt parts process instead of using a Condition Code enabled single part: a part number for NEW, CORE and REBUILT. The part can only be rebuilt a finite number of times thus serialization is required.Parts received from a customer via an RMA as well as parts that are remanufactured in-house using a remanufacturing shop order trigger the automatic rename of the serial that was implemented with the introduction of the Serial Lifecycle Group functionality.But the majority of CORES are not rebuilt in-house but are sent out instead to a supplier on a normal Purchase Order as Supplied Material. Hi! In the Business Opportunity Management lobby, when filtering the data with Page Parameters, How does the Days filter work? I understand you can add an amount of days to the filter. For example “365”. Which 365 days does the data show? 365 from now forward, is today in the middle of 365 or does it work in other ways? How does the Period filter work? What options do I have there to use? How could I best filter the Opportunity Estimated date, to show only projects estimated to close current year?
