Error in IPaaS log - I’ve been looking through the log for the reason for why I cannot get into AssystETM and came across this error. Hi Everyone,We need your input as regards our current Java setup for Assyst and we would like to move to open JDK to avoid additional cost to the licenses on this versions.Currently  on java version "1.8.0_333"Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_333-b02)Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.333-b02, mixed mode) QuestionWhat are the supported open JDK version for java to downgrade to ? We are running on Assyst version 11.6.1 build 12635We also will like to downgrading to java-1.8.0-openjdk.x86_64 : OpenJDK 8 Runtime EnvironmentWould this work with Wildfly / JBos?Looking at the Wiki page it says it is supported howver not this exact version, we need your experience here if the current version we are plannimng to downgrade to works ok with Assys

On the IFS assyst Mobile app, once logged in to our site, the Home page shows the IFS assyst logo. Is there a way of changing that logo to be something different?

We have a single select field with answers Yes and No, and use visibility expressions to display fields based on the Yes/No selection.  We've found that when (for example) Yes is selected and values are entered for the fields dependent on Yes, if you change your mind and select No, and then enter values for the fields displayed on No, when the form is saved, all the values entered for Yes and No are written to the database. We use powerBI for our reporting and wondered if there was a way to hide these hidden completed fields from the database or if there was a way they do not get written to the database? Below is a snippet from our test database to show an example of this problem.  

I am trying to write a report that extract a custom field with custom property type of ‘l’ which is no longer listed but was part of 5.5 for system fields.In any case it fills a “LOOKUP VALUE ID” which I am trying to look up but the data schema only say“The value of a Custom System lookup field.Introduced in assyst10 SP5.5.” What table(s) are associated with custom System Lookup?

We are looking for an action type which is not visible (in the action log) to other service departments. Never. Really Never. :-) Is this possible? I take it that action types flagged as private are visible to creating service departments and current assigned service departments. This is not what we are looking for.Take care,Mathias

I am wondering if there is a database table that stores the customization details done on particular aliases via the Customizer? For example, I am looking to find what fields are visible to which aliases on specific custom forms. Is there a table that stores this? I’m looking to do this on the Item A field specifically, which is a system field.So far I’m using jptsys_def_state_grp table, which allows me to find which fields have a customization on specific aliases. Now I’d like to know what those customizations are… My organization is currently on assyst 11.2.3 if that helps.Thanks in advance!

Hello, We recently upgraded our assyst production environment to version 11.6.3, and converted off the legacy numbering system. Since the change, our implementation of the assyst Mailbox Reader and our assystETM installation are both creating events which have negative incident_ref values. This did not happen in any of our non-production environments during our testing.A couple of examples are below:  Has anyone run into this before? Thanks, Duncan

Our Web Tutorial section of the Assyst Web Homepage has a list of Knowledge procedures that appear in a near-random order.  Is there a parameter or setting that determines what order this procedures are displayed?  Ideally, we would like to have them in alphabetical order, but also add “New” procedures at the top for a determined amount of time.

Hello,I am working on configuring an ETM channel to bulk create some event builders, and am not able to find documentation on acceptable values for eventBuilderType, eventType and usage (Event Builder Type, Event Type, Usage in ETM). ETM seems to want integer values for these fields, but the database values are letters.Are these documented anywhere? Thanks,Duncan

We hear often about the difficulty for staff in navigating a robust (even if easily searched) Service Catalog between the various customer groups we support. As a healthcare organization servicing both clinical and non-clinical staff, we hear often about the lack of time nurses or providers on the floor have to spend in the catalog.  Given the size and variety of what's on offer I can sympathize.Has anyone come up with unique service catalogs for specific customer groups using the Query Profiles or unique homepages for each given that functionality in more recent releases? How did you accomplish or manage this? Looking for some ideas on how to potentially solve this issue.

Hello,Within assystNET, you can place Event Monitors on the homepage.Some columns within the Event Monitor may not be easy to understand for some people who use the portal (such as SVD Assigned Name) so it has been requested that these be changed to more easily understandable headers where appropriate.So with that goal in mind, does anyone know how to alter the headers of individual columns within assystNET Event Monitors with CSS only?The reason I state ‘CSS only’ as I believe these are the lititations of what can be done via Styling in assyst.Note: I’ve tried inspecting the element in three different browsers which all gave varying outputs.  The one below looked to be the most likely to work but it unfortunately did not (.dgrid-column-6 being SVD Assigned Name):}#dgrid_0 .dgrid-column-6 {  column

How can we extract Building Name, Address1, Address2, City, Province in ETM? The only value we have is Building ShortCode.

We want to update an EventMonitor/Query Profile in the ETM. This would run on a weekly basis to show last weeks closed calls. the fields that would change would be the action date to and from. We are struggling to get the ETM to recognise the Query Profile. We know we can query Query profiles using REST like this - assystREST/v2/queryProfiles/1514?onBehalfOfUser=aliashas. So assumed it would be similar with the ETM. Any Suggestions on what to try? 

We need to allow unauthenticated access to the IFS Assyst knowledge base. Right now, only logged-in users can access it. This is a problem for new users who need to register and learn the tool.The information needed for registration is stored elsewhere, making it hard to maintain and access. This setup creates a barrier for new users and hinders the efficient use of our knowledge base.Allowing unauthenticated access would improve the user experience and help keep our knowledge base up-to-date. Please consider this change.

Hi, I couldn’t find a resource containing the information that we’re looking for, so I thought I’d log a question here.Our organization has a development and a production environment. We were wondering if there is a way for changes made in production to be automatically replicated on the development environment? In this case, we’re mostly wondering about changes that technicians may apply to singular Items, user profiles, etc. It would be great if those changes could be replicated in development automatically. Is there a feature for this? Does anyone have this set up? We are currently on version 11.2.3, soon to be updated to 11.7.2.

Hi! I downloaded IFS Assyst Self-Service app and I’m getting an error: Server Unreachable. Try again later.We’ve discarded to be a communication problem by running some tests in 443 port.
