Hi, In APP10 IEE, is it possible to prevent employees from manually editing their time using the time card feature, while allowing them to record time only through the time clock option? 

The client pays OT based on the region employee is from, If employee is from region A then they will be paid 1.5x times for anytime worked more than 40hours a week, if the employee is from region B they will get paid 1.5x times if they work above 48 hours, whereas for hours 40 - 48 its 1x times.All the employees has 14 day schedule where week 1 is of 33 hours and 40 hours in their second week.The employees are monthly salaried so they are mostly automatic insert of normal hours in time and attendance time base.These employees have only two wage code which generates times, one is 100 for normal wage hours and 200 for Overtime worked.Can someone help me understand how we can configure this using balance functionality.The maximum time an employee can accumalate is 80 hours. 

Is it possible to record attendance by manually entering just the card number in the Time Clock window without using the physical card when card-driven execution is enabled?

When a manager creates a request, selecting an employee, the employee column shows the manager's photo, not the employee's photo. Is this standard or an error?

Hello, in updating / adding a new address under the person record the following list of values are displayed in “Address Type”:Are these values customisable? 

We have two companies, each with one site.  A couple employees are transferring from one to another, and we'd like to know if there is a "best practices" we can follow to avoid complications or mistakes along the way.  Specifically:1) Shop Floor Workbench - Can a single employee, in one of the companies but with access to both, clock in/out of operations for each company?2) Cost accounting - I believe org assignment for a given employee is the (passive) driver of directing costs to the appropriate GL.  For a single person, migrated from one company to the other, do we have to create a new Employee File for them in the new company?  Should we term the Employee File in the older company?  Or would we want to keep the old employee file active to allow logins to SFW for Company A operations?Are there any best practices guidelines for this type of use case?Thanks.

Hello, Our company are looking into offering our employees the option to buy and sell holidays and were thinking of how we are going to manage this. We use IFS for HR and Payroll, however we are new to the system and unsure if this is something it can manage.  Any advise/feedback would be appreciated. 

Hi,I am facing an issue with mismatch in Unused Days in ‘Absence Limit Days’ Please see above screenshot, it is showing Days Used as 6 and Days Unused as 20. When clicking on Details, it is showing Unused Days as 18. I have checked employee has applied only 4 days leave, so why it is showing unused days as 18, it should be 20 days? How to correct this mismatch? ThanksVikas Jain

 I am currently working with a client undergoing a major organizational restructuring. Naturally, this will impact various aspects of IFS, but especially the graphical organization structure.Everything from the hierarchy of organizational units to transfers between different units will be affected over a three-month period. This is not a very common scenario in any organization—certainly not on this scale—given how many individuals and units are involved.What is the best way to approach this? Where should I start, and what are the key elements I must not forget or overlook? Any insights or past experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.

 When I manually report absence clockings, the clockings show up as 2 records in Employee Interval.  I’m expecting 1 record in Employee intervals. Below I would expect 1 line for the ‘In Absence’ and ‘Out Absence’.  I’m not getting that result, i’m getting 2 normal clockings when they should be an absence and am left with an open Absence.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,Ed 

Hi, Is there a way to limit employees from connecting their expense sheets to organizations in which they do not have an assignment?In below example, employee 10198 is assigned to organization 1510. But he can create an expense sheet connected to any organization. The example shows an expense sheet connected to 1410.   Thank you in advance!

Hi all,We’re on IFS Cloud 24R2, and I’m trying to allow employees to book Bank Holidays via the Quick Absence screen (My Self-Service).Right now, Bank Holiday is not set up as an Absence Type. It exists only as a wage code, which is linked to the Absence Category = Leave.When users open the Quick Absence screen: The Bank Holiday option doesn’t appear in the list at all. The Bank Holiday date itself is greyed out (not selectable). The wage code is correctly set up (Absence Category = Leave, Can be Reported by Employee = Yes, Day Type Rule = “Can overlap non-working days”). But since the system isn’t picking it up in Quick Absence, I’m wondering:Does Bank Holiday need to be set up as a proper Absence Type in IFS Cloud to be bookable via Quic

Hi,We currently have a need from time to time to correct current absence limits (Total Unused Hours) in IFS Cloud.  Mostly due to data entry errors.From doing some searching it seems this was possible in earlier versions of IFS, but there doesn’t seem to be away of doing this in IFS Cloud. We not using carry forward limits so it’s not possible to do this via import unused limits. Am I missing something?

Is it possible to send an email directly to the case contact from within IFS?We would like to start measuring time to case completion from this point. 

HelloCan someone explain to me how / where I can configure the fact that I wan absence to be counted as 0,5 or 1 day not according to Time card.In my exemple It’s counted 0,56 due to the fact that employee has got de 8 hour a day but with 4,5h in the morning so it’s counted 0,56 and not 0,5. Can someone please help me ? Many thanks

I want to know how can I filter observation of participants for supervisors?I should mentioned that I set up position access set up but all supervisor still can see all participants in training event form.I want each supervisor can only see related participants.Is there any form for setting up this access?

Hi We are trying to add work location on our employees via projection. By Work Location i mean the work location tab under employee file → Employment → Assignment. Via devtools we find that IFS itself uses this call: /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PersonnelFileEmployementAssignmentsHandling.svc/CompanyPersonSet(CompanyId='XX',EmpNo='TEST1234')/AssignmentEmployeeWorkLocationSet. But when doing this ourselves we have a problem. Because in the request body we are required to send SeqNo. But we dont know how to get this. In the database it is an easy SEQUENCE.NEXTVAL. How do we do something similar to that nextval functionality with projections. The only alternative i can see right now is to do a Get call that gets all Employee Work Locations and then find the highest and add +1. But this seems like a bad solution.We are on 10.8 right now

Hi,As a new version on report ZUS Z-3 has been released, it is required that the report is updated.The changes are in piont 6 of the report in which a new absence should be included.I attached a new report version and a file with description what exact canges are required in report confoguration.Regards,Jan
