There is a scenario where we need to setup prorated leave balance for PTO.

Amount of days received is prorated based on when you start.

January – March : receive 3 days PTO

April – June :  receive 2 days PTO

July – September : receive 1 day PTO

October – December : receive 0 days PTO

This can be resolved by the Limit Value Thresholds. You can define a custom limit threshold with total entitlement and a monthly threshold for prorated values.
