Hi Community

From this screen I can grant HR Manager access. It works.

However, it applies to all the companies at once right? How shall I grant access to only one company? Not position access, I just want to grant HR access to Peter for the Company 10 above.

The employee is a multi company employee and that has to be retained. Otherwise I can easily take off the access to the companies other than company 10 and grant HR Application Manager Access.

Thanks,
Asela

@Asela Munasinghe : As per functionality, Grant HR Application Manager access extends over all companies that the person is connected to.

Unfortunately, it doesn't allow person to have ‘HR Application Manager’ in one company and limited HR access in another company.

Ok @vickyrohilya I understand, the goal is that this user only would be able to to make changes in the employee file of that one company and not able to do the same in the other companies. Can it be achieved at all, do you think?

@Asela Munasinghe : Currently this functionality is not available. You may please add this as Idea that ‘Grant HR Application Manager’ should be provided based on Individual Company or All Companies.

Hi Asela,

Just wondering why you need HR Application Manager access only for a particular company.

I hope you can achieve the same thing by granting Organization access only to Company 10 or any other company you need, with proper access role. You can grant the company access through Graphical organization Structure, Access Tab.

Hi @Asela Munasinghe - If the goal is to see and manage employee file for one company please create a new access setup via supervisor access setup from the top level and enable ‘Include Subordinates’ so the employee will see all the employees and also make sure to give him an access role with all relevant attributes. In your case you can leave the position empty and give only Access role.

@Asela Munasinghe : As mentioned, Grant HR Application Manager provides access for all companies.

For company-based access, you can use Supervisor Access Set-up.
