Use former employee reemployment for an active employee

One of the customer has signed a new employment agreement, while the previous employment is still active and rather using the employee file and adding a new employment is there a possibility to use the former employee reemployment ?

Protected Persons for scheduling Resources

I wonder if someone can help me with an issue with regards to setting up a scheduling resource for PSO and protected persons in the HCM Module.My understanding is that in order for a resource to be available in the drop down in Scheduling Resources the address type 'Visit' needs to be set . However this means that the protected flag on the person record needs to be set as 'Unprotected'. Is is possible to have a protected persons address record and still set them up as a scheduling resource?

0 Internal Price for Project Transactions

In App10 I am seeing Intermittently Project Transactions are created from Time Registration with an Internal Price of 0.  The setup is correct as there can be multiple Transactions entered on the same day or week and on the same Project that do have a value for Internal Price.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Minimum work hours - Parameter list

Hi All,Customer has a working schedule where Mon to Thursday 8.25 hours and on Fridays 4.5 hours and which allows employee to login anytime and they are expected to work only 4 hours to complete a day I was able to get this minimum work hours setup successful using the parameter list functionality for Monday to Thursday but I'm unable to find a way to do it for Fridays. Can anyone suggest me how we can do this? Best Regards,Dharshan.

HCM- Flex Day Rule

I'm trying to get the Flex break rule in IFS Cloud to work and integrate with PSO.I want to schedule a simple 60 min break, Lunch can start anytime from four hours after shift start but must be completed within six hours of shift start. I have used the below Flex Day Rule Does anybody have an idea any wrong here?

Approval of Expense Sheets

Good morning.  I would like to know what determines who is able to Approve/Authorise Expense Sheets?  Is it the Position Structure, Position/Supervisor Access Setup?  Wrt Travel Requests, there is a Travel Request Configuration available, but not for Expense Sheets.  Many thanks.  Anya.

Hello,how do I set up the automatic conversion of annual leave entitlement from e.g. 25 days to entitlement for an employee who started on 1 September, i.e. to automatically reduce the entitlement according to the start date? Thank you

3rd Shift not Calculating Correctly when Clocking Out for Lunch

Hi, We have a work schedule that is from 3:00PM to 2:00AM the next day and some employees take lunch around 12:00AM the next day.  If they clock out for lunch at 12:00 AM and clock back in at 12:30AM it doesn’t register it as the part of the same work day.  However, if they do not clock in/out for lunch and only clock out for lunch then it calculates correctly.  Please see screenshots below:Day Type Flexible Break Rule: Time card without clocking out for lunch: Time card when they do clock out for lunch: Can someone please help as to why the results are not calculating correctly?  Thanks in advance!Liz

Carry Forward Leaves are deducting exceeding the limit

Hi,A user has encountered an issue when registering the leaves, The Carry Forward Absence Limit is showing a minus value. Even though the employee has registered annual leaves, the deduction has been made in Carry Forward Leaves. What can be the cause for this.There is no Lowest Negative Value being definedAppreciate it if you can update me on this to check any setting related to this. Thank you.

OT calculations for flex working hours in apps10

Customer uses full flex work hours so there is no particular log in and out time, they want to get OT calculations setup. So how they want is, if the OT to be paid only in 15 minutes blocks. If a person works 14 minutes, there is no OT and the time should be not considered. If they work 44 minutes it will 30 minutes OT and 14 minutes from (30 to 44 )not considered.

Absence limit allocation

Current setup for absence limit generation is based on the seniority setup. For ex. Seniority is defined based on the date of birth of the employees, if user’s age is 0-59 then they will get 25 leaves whereas if user is 60 or above they will get 30 leaves.The above setup currently works irrespective of the date of joining of the users which we need to fix that system should consider date of joining while allocating leaves to users. Can anyone advise how we can do such setup ?

In Reg Type of "Automatic"

Every once in a while, we see a random/erroneous “clock in” on an employees interval tab in the Time Card Day with an In Reg Type of “Automatic”. Typically, when the employee clocks in or out, the In Reg Type is “Terminal”, and shows up on the Clocking tab as well. Where is this Automatic punch coming from; how/why?

Delegate roles error

Good morning, We’re trying to delegate roles for someone temporarily (HCM > Manager Services > People and Organisation > Delegate Roles)We select the Person and click Advanced Mode. Click Next Ensure the Company is selected and the substitute is selected The date range is selected Click Finish Then we get the error message : Record for access already exists for the Employee/Person.I can’t see anything obviously already existing or wrong, has anyone seen this before or can point me to where I can troubleshoot Thanks in advance!

Unable to report Increment

If I’ve reported an increment for a particular day and then if I create another entry for same increment through MWO I’m able to create that entry but do not see an impact on HCM results. Although, I’m not even able to add entry on time card through “register manual results”. Screenshot given below for reference.

Sync Time Registration Between Same Employees from 2 Companies

Hello, I would like to know is it possible to sync time registration for an employee which exist in Company A & Company B? Otherwise, what is the way forward to avoid this kind of user from entering time registration twice in both companies. Payroll happens in both. Best RegardsHami

WO time, need to invoice that from the project.

Our custome has a WO connected to a project which for the most part is a lump sum that will be invoiced from the project.  They also have standby time that is not part of the lump sum.  This time gets billed by the hour.  Rather than invoice this through a customer order, they would like to invoice this from projects.  This will allow them to incorporate project specific sales pricing and incorporate the use of our multi-overhead functionality.  The solution is to create a project transaction by registering an employee cost and the effort to do this is tedious and time consuming and prone to errors.Have you experienced this kind of thing with other customers?  Do you know of a soluition for this?  Right now we have a modification proposed and it is a bit expensive.Thank youPatrick
