Is it possible to send an email directly to the case contact from within IFS?We would like to start measuring time to case completion from this point. 

HelloCan someone explain to me how / where I can configure the fact that I wan absence to be counted as 0,5 or 1 day not according to Time card.In my exemple It’s counted 0,56 due to the fact that employee has got de 8 hour a day but with 4,5h in the morning so it’s counted 0,56 and not 0,5. Can someone please help me ? Many thanks

I want to know how can I filter observation of participants for supervisors?I should mentioned that I set up position access set up but all supervisor still can see all participants in training event form.I want each supervisor can only see related participants.Is there any form for setting up this access?

Hi We are trying to add work location on our employees via projection. By Work Location i mean the work location tab under employee file → Employment → Assignment. Via devtools we find that IFS itself uses this call: /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PersonnelFileEmployementAssignmentsHandling.svc/CompanyPersonSet(CompanyId='XX',EmpNo='TEST1234')/AssignmentEmployeeWorkLocationSet. But when doing this ourselves we have a problem. Because in the request body we are required to send SeqNo. But we dont know how to get this. In the database it is an easy SEQUENCE.NEXTVAL. How do we do something similar to that nextval functionality with projections. The only alternative i can see right now is to do a Get call that gets all Employee Work Locations and then find the highest and add +1. But this seems like a bad solution.We are on 10.8 right now

HelloI wonder for a client, if it’s possible to link Position to Organizational Units in order that when you select an Unit, you can only have the Position liked to it showed ?If you’re in Graphical Unit A you can only select position A1, A2 etc..; and when you ‘re in graphical Unites B you can only select position B1 or B2 … Thank you for helping me ! Bests regardsStéphanie MINEL

Hi All We just implemented SU9 on 24R1 and after that the project radio button which shows up shortcuts saved keeps disabled. I cannot find the little setting related to that. Can anyone direct me where it is? Even if I try to save it as a new shortcut, next day I try to register time, still shows up with the button disabled. Anyone knows how to keep it enabled each day a user needs to register time?  Thanks,Asela

We’ve setup a specific document class as a default one for documents on expenses. Setup looks like this,This setup works in one environment but doesn’t work in other, is there something missing from the setup side that users are unable to access this document class ?

Hello All, We are using IFS Apps 9. We would like to use “IN org” functionality when employee works for multiple departments and want to clock their time against the department they are working for.   I don’t see a “OUT org” object name. As a result in the Clocking Tab, the In Department doesn’t match the Out department. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks  

Hello,The company has work bench clocking to record Labor hours, which works well. We are trying to introduce T&A clocking for payroll and fire recall only. However, when we have added the terminals, the clock attaches to the labor class and absorbs labor and overhead charge. Please can you help me to detach the manufacturing labor from the T&A clocking but continue with the Manufacturing labor for the bench top clocking?Thank you      

Hi, Scenario:We have an employee not working on a set schedule and project time reporting.Reality could look like working 10 hours on a Monday, 4 hours on a Thursday and then not working again for two weeks.   I’ve tried different schedule scenarios and Time Base, Time Registration Base, Rule Types, Parameter List, Wage Codes – you name it. No matter what I do we can’t seem to get more hours than 8 to Results (unless I change Work Hours Sum in Day-by-Day schedules) while reporting 10 hours project reporting. We want this employee to be able to report his project time without having a set schedule with already defined hours. Is that even possible? We want the project reporting hours to match the hours going to Results. If possible, what needs to be done to set this up? This Employee is not entitled to Overtime compensation. /Anna

Hello Community, For customers who are in APP10, We can not able to add/modify or even not seeing the Quick Time Reporter in their Aurena client. When first click, the page comes as below.After few seconds, it changes lke below.anyone knows why this happen and why the New button is not enabled? Hi all, I wonder if anyone can offer us advice on overtime.  Currently we have extra hours converted to  overtime at 1.5 times pay via a balance conversion.  A new company initiative has been launched that lets employees receive double time for any overtime over the 6 hours mark in any week.I can calculate the 1.5 and 2.0 times pay in the Periodic Results window, but would like to know if there’s any way to update the Time Card data to include the split of 1.5 and 2.0 times overtime.I appreciate that this may not be possible, but wonder if anyone else has an examples? Many thanks, Scott 

We are running IFSAPPS9 and have deployed “work center-defined” timeclock terminals on the floor. We use only one time clock type and all employees that use it have the Timeclock User checkbox checked within Employment/General tab.  All work center users have been granted the same permission sets. This doesn’t happen with all employees.  Please refer to the error message attached for an employee that clicked the Clock In button on the terminal.  All timeclock employees also have the REG_NO_AUTH Role Id.  Is this a user profile issue or access issue?

Good day.In the Graphical Position Structure we have a Manager with several Employees reporting to him.  In the Employee files of his subordinates, some Employee Files show him as the Supervisor, others not.  All the reporting Employees, on the Graphical Position Structure, show his Position as their Parent Position.  Anyone that can help with the reason why he shows as the Supervisor for only some of his reporting Employees?Thank you.Anya

Hi,Does IFS have any integration with Mastercard to automatically import employee credit card transaction data from the bank?Currently, the IFS credit card import requires manual file uploads, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to automate this process to pull transaction data directly from the bank.Any help would be appreciated. Hi,I would need your help to solve out Time Clock logic when clocking out with absence.I have clocked in with normal and then during the day the employee get sick and leave early from work so I do the Out Absence clocking. On time card the absence interval is still open, I assume it would clock me out for the rest of the day.    So my question is what is the logic when an employee clocks herself Out Absence and can I change the logic? And how does the open absence interval be closed (without manual work). BrEevastiina
