Hello,The company has work bench clocking to record Labor hours, which works well. We are trying to introduce T&A clocking for payroll and fire recall only. However, when we have added the terminals, the clock attaches to the labor class and absorbs labor and overhead charge. Please can you help me to detach the manufacturing labor from the T&A clocking but continue with the Manufacturing labor for the bench top clocking?Thank you      

Hi, Scenario:We have an employee not working on a set schedule and project time reporting.Reality could look like working 10 hours on a Monday, 4 hours on a Thursday and then not working again for two weeks.   I’ve tried different schedule scenarios and Time Base, Time Registration Base, Rule Types, Parameter List, Wage Codes – you name it. No matter what I do we can’t seem to get more hours than 8 to Results (unless I change Work Hours Sum in Day-by-Day schedules) while reporting 10 hours project reporting. We want this employee to be able to report his project time without having a set schedule with already defined hours. Is that even possible? We want the project reporting hours to match the hours going to Results. If possible, what needs to be done to set this up? This Employee is not entitled to Overtime compensation. /Anna

Hello Community, For customers who are in APP10, We can not able to add/modify or even not seeing the Quick Time Reporter in their Aurena client. When first click, the page comes as below.After few seconds, it changes lke below.anyone knows why this happen and why the New button is not enabled? Good morning.  We would like to use Detail Approval on the TR Configuration, specifically the Project Approval option.  However, I see that you can only do Detail Approval on Project Activity level and not Project level.  Anyone who knows how we can set up Approval per Project?Thank you.Anya

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can offer us advice on overtime.  Currently we have extra hours converted to  overtime at 1.5 times pay via a balance conversion.  A new company initiative has been launched that lets employees receive double time for any overtime over the 6 hours mark in any week.I can calculate the 1.5 and 2.0 times pay in the Periodic Results window, but would like to know if there’s any way to update the Time Card data to include the split of 1.5 and 2.0 times overtime.I appreciate that this may not be possible, but wonder if anyone else has an examples? Many thanks, Scott 

We are running IFSAPPS9 and have deployed “work center-defined” timeclock terminals on the floor. We use only one time clock type and all employees that use it have the Timeclock User checkbox checked within Employment/General tab.  All work center users have been granted the same permission sets. This doesn’t happen with all employees.  Please refer to the error message attached for an employee that clicked the Clock In button on the terminal.  All timeclock employees also have the REG_NO_AUTH Role Id.  Is this a user profile issue or access issue?

Good day.In the Graphical Position Structure we have a Manager with several Employees reporting to him.  In the Employee files of his subordinates, some Employee Files show him as the Supervisor, others not.  All the reporting Employees, on the Graphical Position Structure, show his Position as their Parent Position.  Anyone that can help with the reason why he shows as the Supervisor for only some of his reporting Employees?Thank you.Anya

Hi,Does IFS have any integration with Mastercard to automatically import employee credit card transaction data from the bank?Currently, the IFS credit card import requires manual file uploads, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to automate this process to pull transaction data directly from the bank.Any help would be appreciated. Hi,I would need your help to solve out Time Clock logic when clocking out with absence.I have clocked in with normal and then during the day the employee get sick and leave early from work so I do the Out Absence clocking. On time card the absence interval is still open, I assume it would clock me out for the rest of the day.    So my question is what is the logic when an employee clocks herself Out Absence and can I change the logic? And how does the open absence interval be closed (without manual work). BrEevas

employee selection group  is marked “OBSOLETE” , BUT STILL SHOWS UP THAT IT CAN BE SELECTED IN LIST OF VALUES.  IN TIME CARD WEEK / DAY 

The Eastern Time changed in the U.S. from EST (UTC-5) to EDT (UTC-4) this past Sunday.  I have updated the time zone offset for our associated site and the IFS Timeclock Clockings are still incorrect by one hour. Any ideas on how to get the time zone update to be reflected within the IFS Timeclock?

Sometimes it’s the same and sometimes is not. The schedule of the employee is 39 hours per week and the absence configuration is working hours.But I don’t understand the difference between them in some cases.Regards,

Hi Team,The Employee Schedule is defined for 8.5 hours per day, yet we have a requirement to set the maximum time for an absence per day to 8 hours. So, we have defined an absence type to allow only 8 hours of maximum hours per day. When we try to register an absence for a day with mentioning the ‘Default hours per day’ for more than 8 hours it gives an error message ‘Maximum Hours Per Day is 8’Yet, when we try to register an absence for a day without mentioning the ‘Default hours Per day’ it registers the absence for 8.5 hours. What are the settings which we need to define further to limit this absence only to 8 hours for a day?

Hi, Do you know how I can setup the rule for an absence type: 1 day available every quarter for employees, If not used in previous quarter, can be carried forward to next quarter- to be consumed within the same year.I've already set up the 1-day-per-quarter limit, but I need help configuring the carry-over rule.  thank you!

Hi all,I was wondering if anyone has used those limit setting parameters, and would share a short description of what these actually do / for what they are used.I could use the the VAL_PERIOD_EXT (validity period extension), where absence limits had to be valid for 2 years (instead of default 1 year). But all the other parameters sound somehow cryptic. I could not find any further description in the IFS online documentation, and I would be happy for any input. I wonder if I could use these… especially the MIN_DIMENSION (Minimal absence limit dimension) 😊.Thanks for sharing! KR,Anny  

Hello,We are trying to evaluate the headcounts as FTE Full Time Employee.In the employment area, we can add some reduction of the employment.  In case of parental leave for exemple it is quite practical.However the field “Exclude from FTE” remain a bit unclear. - it does not have any circled “i”  to indicate the field description.Checking at the Page Help, we get only those information, but nothing related to the “Exclude from FTE” This field is quite confusing,Some people think the “The reduction” is Excluded from the FTE calculation. (Reduction non-accountable for FTE) Other people thinks that the toggle will exclude the red

We can control access to transferred results using access role attributes. However, after making changes to the transferred lines, I’m unsure how to reflect those changes in the payroll file. I attempted to run the transfer to payroll process after modifying the transferred lines, but I didn’t see those changes in the payroll transactions. Could you please advise? 

I need to retrieve a Person’s e-mail address.  For this use case, the Person always has a full account.  Problem is, there are multiple sources for an e-mail address here, so no single “source of truth”.Person e-mail addresses can be retrieved from person_info_comm_method* views.User (full account) e-mail addresses can be retrieved from fnd_user_property.If you update one of the corresponding fields in the interface, the other does not update.I’d love to be able to use a Person ID to retrieve an Identity/Username, then use that to get the e-mail address in the User record.  But the debugger tool withholds information about the User-to-Person mapping.I’ve checked quite a few views and tables.  Does anyone have a good source or join to do this?Thanks.
