Hello We are trying to automatically update shop order quantities whenever the quantity (BUY_QTY_DUE) of a customer order line changes in IFS Apps 8. Our approach is to define a Custom Event on CustomerOrderLine and use an Event Action (type: “Execute Online SQL”) to call a PL/SQL procedure which updates the quantities in SHOP_ORD. I have prepared the Custom Event, Action, and Procedure as shown in the image below.However, when I test it, it gives an error. Hi all, In a past MRP job that was run and completed, MRP created a requisition to meet the demand for a specific inventory part. Is there any way to find out what demand created this requisition? When I checked the inventory part availability planning page, there were no lines. Probably, the demand was deleted or the quantity of the demand was reduced after MRP was completed. I am trying to determine the demand that existed in the past. Thanks Ozge

I have done a meter setup on 1st Jan 2025. And while uploading the readings, by mistake I uploaded the measurement for 1st Feb 2024, and system considered that at recorded under the same Meter ID. I want to know why this is allowed as per my understanding, if I am installing a meter on a particular date, system should not allow to save backdated measurements. Hello, in the work order structure I use in my company, 2 production work orders are opened and the parts produced in the first work order are reserved for use in the second work order. There is no problem so far, but when I want to make a manual stock cancellation (Receive → Manuel Unreceive) in an incorrect stocking operation in the first work order, I cannot cancel the incorrect stocking operation by giving a warning that the parts are not in stock because they are reserved. Is there a setting for this, or should the reservation amount be changed manually and re-reserved after the cancellation?

Hi all, I have a problem with a shop order that has a configuration. When I would like to issue one of its components that has a reserved line status, I get the following error. And, when I checked the inventory part im stock reservations page, there was not a line related to the part. “The quantity reserved for part xx on site xxx at location xxxx should not be negative.” What could be the cause of the problem, how can I solve the relevant issue? Hi all, After released the relevant engineering part from the engineering part revision page, I transfer the relevant engineering part from the engineering revision transfers page.When I check in the inventory part revision tab, I see the line of the latest engineering revision of the relevant Eng Rev value on the 2nd line, I cannot see the intermediate lines (eng rev values).What could be the reason?I would like to see the revisions of the engineering part in the each lines in the inventory material revisions tab.What should I do for all lines to appear on the revision tab? We are using IFS Application 8 SP1 (Jboss). Earlier this week, suddenly, the batch server service stopped on it’s own and we are unable to start it since then. I want to add a NESTING_NO column to the Purchase Order Lines table.The same column already exists in the Purchase Part Requisition Lines table. If a Purchase Order is created from a Purchase Requisition, the Purchase Order Lines table includes references to the requisition using the REQUISITION_NO, REQ_RELEASE, and REQ_LINE columns. My goal is to populate the NESTING_NO value in the Purchase Order Lines table based on these referenced values. To achieve this, I wrote a PL/SQL function and tried to use it in the Expression field while adding a Custom Field. The function works correctly and returns expected values. However, when I try to add the column using the Custom Field interface, IFS throws the following error: As a test, I changed the parameters from REQ_RELEASE to RELEASE_NO and from REQ_LINE to LINE_NO, and it worked correctly.This leads me to believe that the issue is specifically related to the REQ_RELEASE and REQ_LINE columns. HI IFS FSM experts, There is 2 queries we have which needs quick help: [1] We are inserting bulk records in our CFSM solution of our code , and we would like to update one column with sequencing as in if i insert 10 records at once it should have same sequence and then when i insert next record it should follow up based on the last sequence inserted. We need to use it using Hierarchy query. [2] We are trying to use OOTB C_upload methodology which works fine with one upload_id parameter but when we try to add new parameter to new page the view or OOTB doesn’t show the records. This is the OOTB Attachment functionality which we have added to list the view with the details of attachment based on a mapping. Are we missing something .

At the completion of every shop order we have process where we have report component scrap. We have been using the Report Component Scrap function within shop floor workbench and shop orders. But we find that this functionality only allows you to to select and report one component at a time. On some shop orders we can have dozens of components we need to scrap. There is no way to select multiple components and report scrap quantities in one batch. Is there another method that we can use to report multiple components at time or is there a setting somewhere that we need to adjust to allow us to select multiple components in the Report Component Scrap page?

OR 2-Create 1 project with 1 Project Navigator and create 2nd project as a sub-project in the first project navigator. Reason for asking this question is that we receive only one payment from client per milestone i.e. “steel cutting” 25% how will we divide the payment on both project Note: Both Projects have different scheduling activities

In some cases the tax amount is not updated / recalculated when the Price of a Customer Order / Customer Order Line is changed. There is no pattern found so far, it happens randomly and we cannot reproduce it. Anybody else experiencing this problem or similiar issues?
