We don’t have it in IFS APPS 10.

The only thing that pops to my mind is that it would allow a user to view the characteristics (not clear to what extend). It will always show all the characteristics or none, it will never be possible to filter on the characteristics themselves. Data filters are per definition not in the permission sets.

Each script contains only objects handled by this component and may need to be further developed or combined with roles defined in other components to work properly, according to the need of the customer installation.

This script creates a role called APPSRV_ATTACHMENTS, and adds the permissions to it for running the Appsrv Attachment Panes in the IFS Enterprise Explorer. To grant this permission set, only add it toward the users that should be allowed access.
