Hi. We have a customer which requests to extract data from IFS Cloud production database to consolidate in a data warehouse. For this task, they plan to use Fivetran SaaS. The final purpose of these is run massive data analysis. The customer is Cloud-residency so I wonder what options can we offer them to extract data in a efficient manner.Fivetran has several ways to interact with Oracle databases: Oracle data movement | Fivetran Does anyone have done something like this before? As far as I’ve been informed, Fivetran uses Oracle log files to detect changes and do incremental data updates. As far as I understand, this option is not possible at all on Cloud-residency installation as host access is not provided. Another option is to use SQLNet and a user to query the tables. This could be done with the IFSINFO user but it requires some network configuration to allow it. Is this correct? Is this site to site connection possible between Azure IFS Cloud infrastructure and the SaaS provider?

Hi, When creating custom attributes, for inbuilt enumerations, I can use:enumeration_name_Api.decode(‘db_value’); But when I create a custom enumeration and try to use the same expression, it gives me errors.Any idea on how to access a custom enumeration using a statement?Error:CUSTOM_ENUMERATION_API"."DECODE": invalid identifier Please help

We have following problem with a workflow which does not trigger from a mobile app.We created an event on the ReceiptInfo table (on change of rowstate) If we do a receipt in Aurena / Wadaco in the browser The event triggers  The workflow triggers.When we use for example the SCANIT app to do a receiptWe see the event triggers  But the workflow does not trigger? We have set the workflow as async so wondering how we can debug it and how the workflows work together with the mobile apps?  Strange thing is that the custom_event nicely triggers, but not the workflow. @Tharu / @Buddhi Gunasekara / @kamnlk 

Just wondering if we have a number of LTU users, are these easily turned into full license users (if license limit is not reached yet). So Donald is now an LTU user, but tomorrow will be a full license user due to change in career path.Likewise, is it possible to turn a full license user into an LTU user?

Can anyone share the query for tracking the changes done on permission sets , this should include both IEE and Aurena projection. 

We need to import XML file but we struggle with problems with every IFS prepared transformer.IFS_XML_TO_JSONHere is the example input XML file (focus on the marked): Transformer does not work for collections.First line of collection works properly, but next lines have type changed to Integer.As per IFS docs. we expect that all output datatypes for transformer should be text.Here is the JSON output: Does anyone resolved/worked-around this problem ? IFS_XML_TO_JSON_GENERICHere is the example input XML file: This transformer also does not work for collections. Hello community,I would like to know which is the limitation of IFS Connect, ie. how many messages/transactions can handle per minute/hour/day in order to know if I can use IFS Connect as a “Integration platform” (for the Inbound processes) and the Workflows for the Outbound processes; otherwise it will be required to have a dedicated Integration Platform, eg. Hi team, The Supplier For Purchase Part screen contains a field named 'Min Order Qty', which according to the system help should trigger a warning/alert if a Purchase Requisition or Purchase Orders is raised for a lesser quantity. When adding a part requisition line in Purchase Requisition, PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_PART_API.NEW__ method is called.Inside this method it calls Check_Insert___ method and that method checks below condition.IF (newrec_.original_qty < part_supp_rec_.minimum_qty) THENp3_ := part_supp_rec_.minimum_qty||' '||newrec_.buy_unit_meas;Client_SYS.Add_Info(lu_name_, 'LESSMIN: The minimum quantity when ordering Part No :P1 from Supplier :P2 is :P3.', newrec_.part_no, newrec_.vendor_no, p3_);END IF;This info message is alerted when the quantity is less than the MOQ in dev envs.Test behavior:When testing the same in the Test env I have noticed that this info message is not alerted. I have a workflow that sums labor hours by activity sequence from a Schedule of Work and writes those summed values to the Activity Estimate.  The workflow works as expected in our TEST environment.  I added the workflow to an Application Configuration Package and imported into our PROD environment, and the workflow does not function (generates the error “Cannot serialize object in variable ‘result’: SPIN/DOM-XML-01030 Cannot create context).  The same data generates a different result. Could this be a permissions issue?  It fails for all users (I don’t have access to the app owner though) Here’s the code for the ‘result’ variable: var workset = execution.getVariable("Reference_SchOfWorkEstimateResourceSummary_Set");var myMap = {};var ArrayList = Java.type('java.util.ArrayList');var activitySeqlist = new ArrayList();for (var i = 0; i < workset.length; i++) {    actSeq = workset[i].ActivitySeq;qty = workset[i].Quantity;if (actSeq  in myMap ) {   myMap[actSeq] = myMap[actSeq] + qty;}

Hi all, When I want to create a part from Configuration via Create Standard Part From Configuration menu in edit configuration page, I get an error message at the end of the steps (3rd part with Optional Part Information to Copy):"Unable to create components: Action Set, Component part .015 is not a valid inventory part."I have checked all the components but could not detect any point causing the error message.What could be the cause of the error? Thanks

Hi,When I use the FndStreamMessages in Workflow, I'm not sure how to set the URL parameter.Do I need to input the entire URL link? like below:http://test.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/web/page/CustomerOrder/Form?$filter=OrderNo eq '${OrderNo}' I'd like to at least not have to input the hostname. Where can I retrieve it from? I've tried just entering the part after the page, but it doesn't seem to work.Best regards,Feng

Hi allI am using the .ova file from the cloud build place in version 2.0.1 for a remote deployment of the IFS Cloud.I configured a static IP. VMware tools are up-to-date and installed. However, after configuring the network, I got the following message after rebooting.   Do you think cloud-init is recommended for IFS Cloud, or can I deactivate it without concern?Please let me know If you need more information.Thanks for your help.BRFlorian​

Hi,I created a simple POST REST API in IFS Developer studio for IFS Cloud dev environment. The query which I have used is POST method, which is very simple SQL statement and able to see the data through Oracle SQL developer.If I call the REST API through Postman, it always throws “Data mapping error due to type mismatch” error. I checked the structure, all the attributes of structure are declared as string and query is also returning everything in string.Attached the screen shot and errors. if any one has faced these kind of issues, please let me know the solutions.Projection method Attribute Query output in Oracle SQL DeveloperPostman Error 

Hi,I was using PLSQL_Rest_Sender_API on IFS application 10. I want to send a JSON payload to a REST endpoint. I created a CLOB in JSON format in my Utility API. But when I call the procedure “Call_Rest_Endpoint1” it doesn’t accept a JSON clob. It gives the following error in the generated application message - ORA-20105: PlsqlapServer.ERRINV: XMLREADER_NEXT:Cannot move to next XML event at [1:1]: Unexpected character '{' (code 123) in prolog; expected '<'  at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1]  Caused by: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character '{' (code 123) in prolog; expected '<'  at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1] I tried other Call_Rest_EndpointX versions of the procedure but no luck.Does IFS Application 10 not support JSON? There are procedures in Rest sender API in Cloud that accepts JSON payload. I think I have to do manual work here by writing my own transformer. Not sure even if that would work.

It seems very fiddly to select mutliple values from a list to search in Cloud.In the example, I have marked 3 suppliers as favourites, but it doesn’t seem to be possible to select all 3 to add to the search box. I have to write down the 3 supplier numbers and type them in. Am I missing something ?
