Aurena Agent Extension download the file locally

Custom Event/Event Action requiring a Custom Field Value - Apps 10

Hello,I am trying to create a Custom Event using a Custom Field that has a Custom Enumeration in Apps10. Freight Supplier is the custom field with the custom enumeration.  I want the custom event to trigger and be a hard stop if Charge Cost > 0 and Freight Supplier is blank and require the User to enter a value for Freight Supplier if a Charge Cost value is entered:So I have been able to get the Custom Event to work as an Information Message and trigger when the Freight Supplier is blank however, when I click OK it saves the record without a value in the Freight Supplier field.  I can also enter the Charge Line with all the required information for Charge Cost and Freight Supplier, but it gives this message as well. I have created the Custom Attribute for custom field Freight Supplier with ROWKEY at it was the only reference I coulld find: I created the Event Action with following Conditions and used the Client_SYS.Add_Info in the SQL, as when trying to use error_sys.system_general

What does Default to Previous control in Page Designer.

In Page Designer, when expanding out contents to show the fields, there is an option titled “Default to Previous”.  Can anyone explain what this controls or what it does.  I have not found anything in the technical documentation.  Screenshot is attached for reference.Thanks!

Would it be possible to hide or grey out the Layout tab for regular users?

Overwriting database packages and xsd files of operational reports after release update

Hello,  we updated IFS from version 22 to 23. After the update, all reports that were modified (database package and XSD file) were overwritten. How to protect such packages for future updates against overwriting?

Round numbers in List element Lobby Cloud

How can you manipulate the data displayed in the elements in cloud lobbies? In previous versions of IFS, it has been possible to write in the columns in data source designer, for example Round(field,0). I have a problem with the list element showing 0.000000000000000000001. On all other element types, there are formatting properties like 'Round result'. But not on the list element.I use Query Designer -> Data source designer -> Element Designer.

Instant invoice : The PDF does not attach to the invoice

Hello,We have a report rule that will attach the PDF to the invoice when printing the instant invoice.It is working well if we don’t check the "Print” check box in the Report format & output window.On the other hand, if we check this check box, the PDF will not attach to the invoice.What I mean by "attach the PDF to the invoice” is adding the PDF of the report to the "Documents” of the Instant invoice.We have tried to modify the report rules, like breaking it in 2 (and creating 2 report rules) but it didn't change anything.What could be causing this issue?

FSM - Refresh Cache (Full) - When and Why

We are looking for some sort of documentation containing clear guidelines on:what type of change requires a Refresh Cache (FULL) e.g. business rules app_params screen designs client scripts scheduled processes etc. when is it recommended to execute the Refresh Cache (FULL) anytime off hours scheduled outage Is there a technical paper to help explan this.  Up until now we have been given conflicting guidance on this and need to get a better level of understanding of the When and Why.

Error When Page Setting Changed to "Fixed page size >>"

Hi, I’m wanting to print a document in a portrait layout but the paper size needs to be manually set. Error importing large MS Project into IFS Cloud

Hello,We are trying to test IFS Cloud Project Management features based on some of our large-scale project work for next year.  I’ve created a 30,000 task project in Microsoft project and I’m trying to import it into IFS.  If I keep trimming down the tasks of the project, I can eventually get it to import.  It usually works somewhere below 1000 tasks.   (Note: operations are not related to tasks.)  Is there some kind of limit setting that we can adjust to get this to work?Error: The current change set contains too many operations. Only change sets with a maximum number of ‘1000’ operations are allowed. Does someone know where we might be missing a setting?  Is it in IFS or MSProject? Thank you,Joann

IFS Cloud Remote Deployment HA Sizing

Hi all, our Customer is planning to have a 3 Node IFS Cloud Middle Tier Cluster and has asked for the Sizing of the three nodes. The available sizing for the Remote Deployment is based on a single Node Installation, and seems a bit high, when having 3 Nodes. The Customer has round about 300 concurrent Users. Do you have any Sizing, and also a recommendation how to scale the IFS Cloud Pods along the Cluster? Thank you in advance. Best RegardsMarion

Customer is unable to connect via REST api

 While implementation work proceeds the customer has been in touch to say that they are unable to connect to REST apis using both Boomi and Postman Web Apps. PickSelected API Payload

 Good morning everyone, I post this topic cause after many hours of research I can’t find a solution about using an API.Here is my problem :  I have to build an flow for make an insertion of data in IFS DB.I did it on the application and use the debug window for see what kind of API is called. After analyse, I see this :   I understood the parameters are checked in the FndTempsLobs API which is genering a LobID and this LobID is the payload of the PickSelected API. My question is : How can I give the inforamtion PICK_LIST_NO, SOURCE_REF1, QTY_TO_PICK, etc… to the FndTempsLobs API ? The documentation show us the only payload is CreatedByModule :  My 2nd question is : The LobID generated contains the previous information ?  Thx a lot for your help and sorry if my explication are confused.

CSV plugin in Cloud

according to technical document, IFS Cloud is still support CSV plugin for order report. But when we create a rpl file with csv as output file extension. The output is a excel file other than CSV. is it a bug in IFS Cloud? when we use same rpl file, it works fine in IFS 10 version.

Permission set revoke single CRUD

We have a need for revoking the possibility to create New and Delete, but allow for Update of a record. The example is for the Purchase requisition lines projection in IFS Cloud, 23R1.The Update and Delete are bundled together, so it is not possible to give one and not the other. Is there another way of doing this?
