We have a Custom Field in Rental Transaction that is pulling Group ID from Serial Object. As Serial Objects gets update it then recalculates and updates the Custom Field in Rental Transactions. We want to know what the Serial Object Group ID was at the point the Rental Transaction is created NOT the current Group ID. How do we prevent the Custom Field from Updating if Serial Object is changed? Thanks in advance,Lisa

Hi allWhen we try to access any documentation of the INT type, we keep getting the below sign in screen.  This is not a problem for regular projections where the main documentation is available, but for projections such as CreateAndImportDocument this becomes a problem as INT is the only one available.What could we be missing? No matter what we put for username and password, we are stuck in a loop of that sign in screen.We are on 10.8 Best Regards

Hi All, I updated SSL certificate as the old one expired. When I check from the management server, it shows the correct SSL certificate.When I check from my laptop it shows the old certificate. NOTE: I am using correct IFS binary version I tried below,Recreated and reinstalled middle tier. I have a user who periodcally searches and receives no results, but upon their second search a few seconds later (with the same query parameters) they receive results. Can anyone recommend a starting point to debugging this issue?

When trying to route application message to IFS REST API I get below error. One of our users has managed to corrupt a filter they use for Object IDs.This is because they have saved a “List of Values” filter for that drop down and that is being applied/trying to be applied.However, since we’ve done an update to the evironment that filter no longer works.This prevents them from creating Work Orders. As soon as they click the “Object ID” field, it tries to run the filter, and an error occurs. Any idea how we can clear that filter that’s against his profile?  

Hi,Has anyone in APPS10 enabled user passwords on Printing when using the Print Server. Currently it bypasses (probably as going through as a system account) - so users printing is just being printed, not held until they can type their pin into the printer.

Hi Community, Is it possible to create non clustered IFS environment using Clustered IFS 10 Environment clone file?  

We can create a BPA workflow and then use Page Designer to create a command button that calls the BPA.This currently only works when exactly 1 record is highlighted in a list - if highlight more than one, the button disappears.It needs to be enhanced to support bulk execution i.e. highlight multiple rows and the BPA will be run individually for each row.

In the documentation for Searching and Organizing Information in IFS Cloud Web, there is a topic for Search Context Pane. From the documentation: The Context Search Pane can be positioned within an any section of an IFS Cloud Web page, and its placement is managed by system administrators. Unlike a Page Search, the Context Search exclusively impacts the designated area where it is positioned. To put simply, it focuses its search within that specific section and doesn't extend its influence to the entire page.Does anybody have an example of how this has been used or examples of what it could allow or control in a page?

Hello, i am aware that you can do some simple scripting in the “Visible” field in page designer. The screenshot below hides the attribute on a new record.  My questions is it possible to use this functionality to show/hide an attribute/field based on logged in user or user group? 

Lobby to display a Gantt Chart to display requests and resourcesWe have a customer who is using Request Management and the dispatch console therein. The dispatch console by default shoes the request tasks to which you then assign resources. The customer is using a tool now called Trello that displays the resources and then assigns the tasks to the resources.They would like a lobby element that can emulate their Trello display so they can quickly see the availability of the resources. There is a Cleanup_Snapshot_Data.Cleanup_Snapshot_Data procedure but trying to figure out how it gets called in the Application instead of executing it manually. Thanks in advance.

Hi All , Currently we are facing issue with our IFS cloud environment after upgrade as 24R1. Work task  Screen from Request management  is not reflecting any task on it and even if we create a new task it doesn’t shows on Request Work Tasks screen. Moreover, if we try to schedule the task in Dispatch console it says IFSAPP doesn’t have access to Work Task .  Can anyone help on this please. Regards,Nandani

In  IFS Cloud 23R2, is it possible to default the cursor to start on a field using the functions available in Page Designer ?Example :When we go to Work Task page and add a new record, the cursor should appear on the Work Type Field Is it possible to set this using the page designer ?

While trying to create permission sets for LTU , we defined context for hiding some menus like lobby overview in Aurena  from one environment to another environment. The permission sets gets exported and imported correctly but the context changes are not getting reflected in another environment for same user.

We need to hide Cost and Pricing related fields from Inventory Part in Stock, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Order and Work Orders for a group of users.I have found many Community discussions on the similar requirement, with no promising outcome.Hiding from Column chooser is not helping us.
