IFS Build place question

Is there a reason why when you update the solution set through build place; when you create a delivery it recompiles everything in your customer solution repo.  Is there a way to have it ignore certain customizations?

Hi,I am getting following error in a upgrade (From App9 to IFSCloud 23R1). In the mtinstaller when runs for the frst time I get following error. its something comes for DB hot IP CIDR value. inventory.xml file doesn't contain any mw_home lines for mws and http

Dear Community,We had to update the IFS application with a new database connection details.So we deleted the instance using installer and the created a new instance.After creating the new instance i just noticed that the inventory.xml file doesn’t contain record of middleware mws and http oracle homes.I think I need to execute  below scripts to attach Oracle Homes.\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\mws\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\http\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd Would it be possible to know whether it is normal to not to create those records in inventory.xml when creating a new instance from installer.Do we need to run the scripts to create those missing lines of the inventory.xml after each new instance creation.We would highly appreciate your comments on this.Thank you in Advance.

Hello,I’m getting below error when trying to preview an SSRS report,“ORA-06532: Subscript outside of limit”The data set query i’m using is CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP:DATA. It gives the error even without having any elements on the report.Application Version : 23R1SU3Any idea why this is happening?

Chrome extension (ifseeextensioninstall.msi) on Terminal Server

Our customer (App10 UPD17) wants to install the ifseeextensioninstall.msi package on Terminal Server, but after installation it only works for the installing user, not for the other users. No problem with the Chrome extension itself (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ifs-ee-link-handler/hmnenmeloiaifbhgebbpkiapmjognkio?pli=1), only with the MSI package.What is the recommended procedure?

Creating Company with IFS Standard Templates for Brazil

In Apps10, I am creating a new company for Brazil, and looking at the option to create the company from a template: When searching the LOV for the Template ID, I don’t see STD-BR.Does anyone know if this is a standard template or if you have to use the Global Extension for IFS to get that STD-BR template to create the company? Thanks! IAL's - IFS Cloud

Hi, I’ve seen a number of posts on IFS Cloud and IALs. Were starting to think about prepping for a move from Apps 10. We use IAL’s extensively so I’ve a few questions. As of 23R2 can you create new IAL’s As of 23R2 can you amend existing IAL’s Is there a date when existing IAL’s will no longer be used  We use some IAL’s for Power BI reports - what is the best way to get at the data in Power BI for IFS Cloud. I apricate this is a lot of questions - so any help on any of the questions would be appreciated. Thanks, Matthew

Partial created Projection Configurations is not visible

1- I created a new (custom) Entity configuration2 - I create an New Projection Configuration - Configure standard projection - and added the Custom Entity3- I did not complete the Projection Configuration, browsed to prev. page or close browser4- Projection is not listed at Projection Configurations5- When repeating step 2 i got an error “Projection Config Entity already present in the configuration” I tryed to refersh dictionairy cache I cleared browser data Re-logged onPartial created Projection Configurations is not visibleIFS Aurena framework version: 21.2.8.20220505044635.0

List of values for dynamic column not visible

Hi, I have a standard page Posting Control Details with control types. I created new control type in database 'CMEE1':  The problem is that when creating a new record, the list of values is not available: If I turn on the page designer, the list of values for this column is available:  Why is the list of values for this column not available in the standard view (when the page designer is closed)?

Functional Area Conflict Report

In most IFS reports, if you go to the Report Definition, there is an underlying table that matches the Report ID.  This table holds the data gathered for the report.For example, the Purchase Order uses the PURCHASE_ORDER_PRINT_REP.By getting the Result Key shown in the Report Archive, you can access the data in that table for the report.The Functional Area Conflict report lists the Report ID as FUNCTIONAL_AREA_CONFLICT_REP.  This table exists in the system, but it does not contain any data that matches the Result Key listed in the Report Archive.Does anyone know where this report data is actually stored?

System Parameters in Cloud/Date time

Is it possible to remove time from date parameters?I see the ability to change this in System Parameters/Event Management. Would this take out the time from our dates if I changed it here? We do not want to choose or see the time when selecting dates.

Logging of who a PO is emailed to

Hello,What is the best way to capture who a PO has been emailed to.  I have created a custom field to hold this information but am unsure on the best way to go about getting this info.  Would I need to retrieve the print job id or result key from RMB ?Thanks in advance

Event trigger from background job completion

Iam trying to create an event or even an api call would be fine for when a background job finishes.  Specifically "Create Pick List for Customer Order".  Our goal is to have the associated order’s PCKNOTE document text updated after the shipment is created from the background job.  I have a custom api call that updates it when I test from SQL but I can’t figure out how to get the event to trigger.  We tried when a new record is inserted into the FRT_SHIPPING_INFO_TAB table.

How to automatically print and advance invoice with specific payment terms?

Hello,For specific advance invoices that come from our online store processing, we’d like that these invoices get automatically set to “PostedAuth”. "IFS Enterprise Explorer is consuming lots of resources"

SInce upgrading to Apps 10 last year many users are receiving this warning message when  multiple screens  are open within the same session.  IFS Enterprise Explorer is consuming lots of resources. This could be due to many IFS Enterprise Explorer windows opened and/or a too large Page Cache. Please close one or more of IFS Enterprise Explorer windows or lower the Page Cache size (Options dialog/Advanced). We have tried clearing the online cache as well as decreasing the number of page caches to keep in memory but we still cannot seem to resolve this issue.Was on the phone with the user when this happened, she was attempting to zoom into a field (she had 2 windows open) she was able to close the message, close 1 window of the 2 she had open and then was able to proceed. Once she had 2 windows open again she tried doing the exact same thing (zoom into the field) but this time no message; then with 3 windows open tried it again (zoom into the field) and still no message so my deduction i

Inquiry Regarding IFS User Activity Tracking

 I am currently seeking assistance in identifying a reliable method for tracking user activity within our IFS system. As part of our company policy, we need to maintain a comprehensive list of currently active users and their corresponding activity history within the system.My initial investigation led me to the "fnd_client_logon_tab" table, which should ideally contain information about active users. However, to my surprise, the table appears to be empty, leading me to suspect a possible system error. Consequently, I am seeking clarification on whether this observed behavior indicates a technical issue that requires resolution.Furthermore, I came across the "FND_SESSION_RUNTIME" view, which I hoped could serve as an alternative solution for tracking user activity. However, it appears that the records within this view have a short lifespan and rapidly disappear, rendering it ineffective for our intended purpose of monitoring user activity over time.I am reaching out to inquire if there

HiIs there a screen or way of seeing which Lobbies have been granted to which permission sets in Cloud 23R2?If not possible via the screen, is someone able to provide the SQL to query this from the database please?In Apps 10 EE, you would be able to RMB->Show Grantees to see what permission sets had been granted that object. ThanksShaun

IAL alternative for Business Reports

Hello Community,On IFS Cloud documentation it is mentioned that the IAL is deprecated in IFS cloud, and will be removed in future release.What are your thoughts for alternative option to IAL in context of creating Business reports?We have used IALs to create Business Reports, one alternative I can think of is Custom utility package views.We can create a Utility model and create our custom views. Then in the Quick Information Sources Draft, we can select LU and choose the custom view to create the draft.What could be the Pros and Cons of this option, if any? Is there any other alternative for the Business reports you can think of? Thanks in advance.
