How to Extract Changes Made in Configuration Contexts (Excluding Global) in IFS Cloud 24R1?

Hello,

We are using IFS Cloud 24R1 and have created multiple configuration contexts for different sites and companies.

We want to extract all the configuration changes made in these contexts — such as field visibility, required fields, and other property overrides — excluding the Global context.

Is there a supported method (Quick Report, SQL query, or projection) to retrieve this data in bulk instead of checking each context manually?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The short answer is no, there is no such thing as a configuration overview report that would show what exact type of changes that has been done. Configuration contexts are typically referenced in combination with Page Configurations, but there are other configuration concepts that using contexts as well, e.g. Navigator Configurations, Appearance Configurations. You would need to look into these separately.

Page Configurations - In the admin form Page Configurations, you can filter on context to get a list of all records where context != ‘global’

From Application configuration packages you can connect all contexts things and export. But if  you need to export each context separately this method is not an option.

@wahelk

Thank you for your response on this.

My main concern is to identify the exact changes made within the context configurations. In scenarios where multiple contexts are configured, is there any option in IFS Cloud to extract or compare these changes—preferably in an Excel format—for better clarity?

Looking forward to your guidance.
