We’re trying to bring a customer’s environment up again, but we cannot find out which user/password is incorrect. The database is up, the cluster username/pass is correct, IFSADMIN OK, IFSSYS OK…Can you please tell me which user should I verify to solve thsi issue? ####<Dec 8, 2020 5:07:08 PM BRST> <Error> <Deployer> <GIG02-SVT-IFST3> <AdminServer> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <7099e447-47c6-412a-8c24-6428c559baad-0000000b> <1607454428710> <BEA-149265> <Failure occurred in the execution of deployment request with ID "28905221290300" for task "weblogic.deploy.configChangeTask.2". Hi, We have recently copied our database, App9 first time in Oracle 19 and had an error message. Before we go down Support route has anyone else had this error message: ORA-04031: unable to allocate 48 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","select /*+ rule */ bucket_cn...","SQLA^f5f698ce","idndef : qcuAllocIdn")Use ADRCI or Support Workbench to package the incident.See Note 411.1 at My Oracle Support for error and packaging details.2020-11-30T09:50:39.145808+00:00Errors in file C:\APP\ORACLE\diag\rdbms\ifscst\ifscst\trace\ifscst_j006_5824.trc (incident=296980):ORA-04031: unable to allocate 40 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","select audit$ from tab$ wher...","SQLA","tmp")2020-11-30T09:50:39.145808+00:00Errors in file C:\APP\ORACLE\diag\rdbms\ifscst\ifscst\trace\ifscst_j008_4428.trc (incident=297005):ORA-04031: unable to allocate 48 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","select /*+ rule */ bucket_cn...","SQLA^f5f698ce","idndef : qcuAllocIdn")ORA-04031: unable to allocate 272 byte

I added a custom field to a page in Aurena with Page Designer. The field shows on the page in preview mode through Page Designer. I clicked save and publish and exited Page Designer. At this point the custom field was no longer displayed. If I re-enter Page Designer the custom field shows in preview. If I wait an hour or so the custom field will start displaying on the page without needing to be in Page Designer. Is there something I need to run to cause changes in Page Designer to display on the page after clicking save and publish?I am using IFS 10 update 9.

I have a number of jobs that have gone into error. I want to be able to restart them, but they take a long time to run. Am I able to send them to a different batch queue of my choosing?

Hi AllI have a problem with the Datasource Designer in IFS. I want to create a table which show me different values based on different date / timeperiods. The values which I want to select are all located on the same view. I am able to generate the date in PL/SQL without problems. In PL/SQL I use subquerrys, in which I  use different abbreviations for the same view. For example: (select round(sum(lo.hours_loaded))                        from  ifsapp.labor_operation_load lo                        where lo.labor_class_no = l.labor_class_no                        and   lo.contract = l.contract                        and   lo.company = l.company                        and   lo.work_day between trunc(sysdate,'iw')and trunc(sysdate + 7,'iw')-1)in this example “l.” usees also the datasource “ifsapp.labor_operation_load”.As you can see, I use the same datasource in my query. In PL/SQL I receive differnet results for different Labor classes (as wanted). But when I want to create a Lobby Element

In APP10  I have created an Application Server Task and a Scheduled job to run a Quick Report.  Is there a way to put a file name with a directory path so the file will be created there?  Thank you

Hi AllWe are on IFS9.We had applied Update 17 to our test environment back in March/April. We recently refreshed Test with a backup of the Live database. Now we were hit with something I haven't seen since our earlier versions of IFS. We now have a mismatch between the Application and the database. e.g. wrong number of arguments... (yes, I should have spotted this, but furlough etc...)Obviously the middleware is at Up17 and the database as per live is Up16.Can I run the Update patch against the database only?? by checking only the option ‘Deploy database files’? Has anyone else had to do this? We used to see similar issues back when we ran executables, and often a user would be using the same executables for both Live and Test, of which were often at different patch levels.Surprisingly we have not hit this issue for years, i think because we would normally test the Update, and apply to Live fairly quickly afterwards. With Furlough etc, we have not kept up with this.Any advice would be

Hi,10 or 20 users keep reporting that IFS can crash during the day. It will not happen everyday but 3 or 4 times a week. We can't find any logical reason why IFS keeps crashing. In the Windows Event viewer we find a error but I don't know the solution. Most of the time there are 2 or 3 errors.Event 1023, .NET RuntimeApplication: Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.exeFramework Version: v4.0.30319Description: The process was terminated due to an internal error in the .NET Runtime at IP 71BC98CE (718B0000) with exit code 80131506. Event 1026, .NET RuntimeApplication: Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.exeFramework Version: v4.0.30319Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.Exception Info: System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHException   at Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Extenders.WebSocketManager.FndWebSocketService.WebSocketConnection_Error(System.Object, System.IO.ErrorEventArgs)   at Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Extenders.WebSocketManager.WebSockets.InternalWebSocket.FireError(System.IO.ErrorEventArgs)   at Ifs.Fnd.Explo

Hi AllWe are running IFSv9 Upd16 on Oracle 12c.Is there a way to see user activity? We would like to know what our users are doing and how often etc.. This will give us a clearer picture of who and when users are on the system and which transactions individuals are involved with most often.I suspect there isnt an out of the box solution to this, as I am sure I would have tripped over it already.Perhaps there is a backdoor to such information?Any guidance is appreciated.ThanksMike

Hi,Currently got an error on a couple of Crystal reports, these reports have worked in the past, we have recently upgraded to Apps9 Upd 17 and I’m not sure if this report has been tested since the update ( but other Crystal reports are working so the Crystal runtime has been installed correctly ) the report hasn’t been amended recently so nothing has changed...The error in the error log is:[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9L]-ERROR in [ExportReportWithParametersAndlogonInfo] Error in exporting the report in rpt format.12/4/2020 8:51:34 AM[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9L]-Value cannot be null. The report runs without any issues in Crystal, just IFS is the issue.Regards,Mick.

Dear all,we are using Aurena as approval dashboard, to approve invoices, expenses and POs. The dashboard is being used by people who are not ordinary IFS users, so some screen parts might be confusing for them if too many details and/or options provided on the page. One of the sections which has some space for improvement/simplification is document attachment section, on the following screenshot.  We would like to hide/rename some buttons there, but we have not found any possibility to do it via page designer. Is anybody aware how to reach page configuration for document attachments? Is there any possibility to switch the appearance of file attachments in Aurena in a similar way as in EE on the screenshot below?

Hi, Is there a smart way of reseting some predefined presentation objects in the personal profiles to the base profile for certain users( based on position codes for example)? I am thinking about doing this by scripting. Just wondring if there is some built in functions or a smart way that can be helpful.

Hi, Does anyone know how to add message body to a routing address mail in Apps10?There is to, Subject, attachment but I don’t see any options for the body. Many Thanks, Anne-Sophie

Hi Everyone ! Can anyone please guide me that how can I run the complete IFS APP9 on Android or iPhone. And please also guide that how to show the lobbies on Mobile ?

I created a custom Aurena Page and added it to an Application Configuration Package. In IEE on the Application Configuration Package screen one of the items in the ACP is of type Aurena Page Group. When I right click on the Aurena Page Group item and select Export Item I get an error message stating: “Error occurred in XML processing”. If I View Detail on the error I see: “Failed executing statement (ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processingORA-00904: "T"."NAVIGATOR_VISIBLE": invalid identifierORA-06512: at line 15ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 237ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 271”If I remove the Aurena Page Group item from the Application Configuration Package then the Export function for the ACP works. While the Aurena Page Group is an item in the ACP the export fails. I am on IFS 10 update 9. Any thoughts?

Hello,A new fellow here with some questions. Your help will be highly appreciated please:1- I am new to creating Background Jobs. The task on hand is to convert all ‘Database Processes’, that are running successfully currently, into Schedule Database Tasks. IFS8.Is there any documentation you can point me to it so i can get started. Scheduling Task looks easy but I am not sure how to connect it to Background Jobs. how can i make this highlighted hyperlink working for my new tasks that i would like to create2- Do we have some fellows around who automated the process of Activating and Deactivating Scheduled Tasks. we have several tasks, about 20, that we manually inactivate in the end of December and Reactivate all of them one by one on our first working day in January. Sounds tedious to me. 3- I see ‘Custom’ in Schedule database task screen. we are not using it at the moment. Is there a formula i can use to Schedule a task to run all 5 days of week every hour from 8AM to 6PM. At present

Hi, Is it possible to uncheck “use hardware accelerated graphics” for a base profile?

Hi, Can someone please provide list of valid mimetypes for the E-Invoice Invoice Attachment. The e-invoice is working fine of PDF attachments, but I cannot get it to work for JPEG or PNG. These are defined in the Document Management base data. Would also like to know the correct values for Document Type. Regards,Kevin

Hi,   Has anyone discovered a way to schedule automatic backup/exports of permission sets, profiles, and/or anything else that might be relevant in Apps 10?   I’ve been doing it manually, and it’d be really useful if we could find some sort of automated process for this.

Hi,I often make changes to objects with background jobs. Some times for some reason a job takes a long time from posted to executed. In the mean time the line is closed, and the job fails.Do you have a good solution for that?BR Kresten

A user is getting an error when exporting the results of a quick report to Excel. The error is “Column COMPANY is not part of”. “COMPANY” is one of the parameters that is passed in when the report is executed. The query executes and returns the resultset to the Quick report screen but the error appears on the right-click “Output-Save As” and “All rows”There are other parameters to be entered to the report also. I have ran the report with the same parameters the user is entering on my own PC while logged in to IFS under his credentials and I am not getting the error. Could it be a problem with Excel on the users PC?I have put a screen capture of it here: https://ibb.co/Vqypz6j

We still have an instance of IFS 7.5 SP6 where I have one user who is experiencing extreme slowness with IEE in the production instance. It can take 30-60 seconds to merely open a screen or to open a query after the screen opens. He does not have the problem in the test environments. No other users are experiencing any slowness in the production instance. It seems to be limited to just the one user.I have had him clear the IFS cache on his desktop (c:\Users\id\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0), but after the individual modules load, they continue to run very slow. It is not limited to a particular module either. I am looking for suggestions on what to look for, or how this could be fixed. Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Even in later versions of IFS using IEE.
