Currently running on IFS applications 9    In the bottom of the screen there is the Tasks, Attachements Output and Help options.   Under the help Option on the right you can see help for all fields on the screen,  Field by field, Page Help and then an option for Custom Help   if you do a Right Mouse Button in the help you can then select an option Configure Custom Help    at this point you can define where your custom help is stored.    I went in and created a new directory for our data and placed it in the EN directory using the LANGUAGE option.   I defined this by using  https://servername.xxx.com/ifsdoc/LANGUAGE/CB/HelpFileName.htm    Then I created a  directory inside of en/CB in order to keep all of our files separate.     This was work

Hello,i just started an integration for an external program with IFS8.The external program should create supplier invoices. As far as i understood, i should use InboundDistributionTransactions:ReceiveSupplierInvoice for this.I’m currently trying with postman. I can reach http://domain:port/fndext/soapgateway and can successfully execute the BIZAPIs GET_TEST_ORDER and GET_CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER by providing the correspondig SOAPAction.I want to do all communication synchronous. Hello, I am attempting to create a Streams notice for when a Historical Work Order is reopoened. I was attempting to use the Status field of the Historical Work Order, but it appears that field is not available on the table of the LU.I’m not sure if this is the wrong LU. I have also checked the ActiveSeparate and I do not see it there either.I’ve looked for STATUS and ROWKEY, but neither appear in either LU/Table.

I would like to set up IFS to receive 856 acknowledgements (997) from our customers. The end goal would be that it would update the shipment status to let our shipping associates whether the ASN was sent successfully or had errors. I found a reference to RECADV2 in the IFS Application Online Documentation under Shipment, Order Delivery but it appears to be a dead end.

 How to configure the LDAPS connection in IFS10?When I connect to AD via port 389 (ldap) this is no problem, but when I connect via LDAPS 636 it shows the message:Failed to connect to LDAP service: simple bind failed: ldap server: 636.Seems to be a problem with SSL authentication. Help :)

Hello, I am attempting to create a Streams notice for when the Operational Status of a Functional Object changes. Specifically, I would like an alert when the status changes to “Out of Operation”. I created an event and event action using the LU and column that I assumed was correct:However, the event is not triggering. Hi,I’m trying to import a bank statement into IFS 9 without any luck.I’m using the external file assistant.When I run the import I get the error: “No unpacked data found, check load file id”, and the log doesn’t tell me anything.I think the format of the import file is wrong. But I’m having trouble understanding how to read the file type.The file type has tree record types:Each record type has a column definition. There after we ran the Synchronize one, but that one took forever and we needed to kill it.What exactly is being synchronized and to what?

We were wondering if the WITH clause works in IFS. I tried one using Oracle SQL Developer and it hangs up when I run it; it doesn’t return any results. We use application messages to send EDI invoices, delivery instructions etc.. however, we frequently see error messages saying that the message has no body. These all resend correctly with a simple right mouse click to restart but any ideas why these fail in the first place??Any ideas how to prevent this? Or automatically resend failures?

We are currently using IFS Apps 8 on Standard Edition and looking to upgrade to Oracle Enterprise edition. We have upgraded two of our non-live environments, and noticed that Enterprise has caused one of our scheduled jobs to go from executing in approx 4 hours to completing in over 12 hours!Nothing else appears to be impacted by the upgrade apart from this job. Our DBA partner are investigating alongside Oracle who have trace files.Anyone gone through a similar exercise and experienced any issues.RegardsShaun

Hi!I have done a couple of changes, related to moving fields, changing column order etc.Just normal changes.I have done this in our TEST environment, but when users log in, those changes has not come thorugh for other users. This happens sometimes, and sometimes not. I am aware of the functionally “Clear personal profile”  But, this doesn´t help. So im asking for recommendations on how to solve this.Do you know other ways of “clearing profiles”. Or maybe something related to cache?/Albin

Keep getting message back saying the crystal report cannot be found. Report definitions and rules are fine. I also get another message suggesting the layout is not held in the database. i want to be sure the dev version which is a recent copy of live is pointed toward the correct dev layout folder but not sure how to determine this? all help appreciated

Hi,When you Email a document ( Purchase order etc.. ) from the print dialog does anyone know where the From email address is picked up from?We are currently on Apps9 UPD12 on our Live system and we’re currently testing Apps9 UPD17 on our Test system, on our test system its using the Email address of the person that Emails the document, but on our Live system it’s using the Coordinators Email address.I’m sure its a change in the Updates but thought I’d ask.Thanks,Mick.

Hi - I have setup a new permission set for Travel Approval Authorisation - Amount.  When the user lists the travel requests to authorise they can see the requests and can RMB, Approve or Reject but the Travel Request… is disabled. The user can zoom into the Request from the Request ID and can also open the request via the Travel Request Overview (RMB\Travel Request...)  I cannot seem to find which object gives access to the Travel Request… via RMB from frmPendingAmountApproval.tblPendingAmountApproval.  Is there any easy way to find this? David.
