Has anyone had experience in using an IFS transformer to transform IFS 810 xml document to ansi x12 810 document? We have a customer that does not accept xml EDI documents. We have attempted to create a transformer using Altova Mapforce in the java language. When using the transformer we are getting a nondescript error. Looking through the documentation, it appears the .jar file created from Mapforce needs to be used as a dependent in a new Developer Studio Project. However, when attempting to follow these instructions, it appears quite a bit of information is missing from the “step-by-step” instructions.

Many years ago when using Eclipse as an IDE I had to import some jar files from <IFS_HOME>\javaruntime (or IFS_HOME>/\repository\server\javaruntime)for the transformer to work if you are not using IFS Developer Studio to develop java transformers. Could that be your issue?

As I remember the files were ifs-fnd-base.jar, ifs-fnd-common.jar, ifs-fnd-connect.jar

Best regards
