I want to automatically print a label whenever an Arrival Report gets printed.  I have the labeled setup to use the same ARRIVAL_REPORT_REP view but I dont know the best method to link the two.  Is it through a plsql event or a report rule?  I dont know how to pass the result key from the Arrival Report to my label report to automatically print label.  Also for some reason when I independently print the label I setup as an operational report through IFS the barcode will not print.  But the barcode with print as a Quick report.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are experiencing very poor performance on our live system and trying to understand what is causing it.We can see that at database level users are logging in but we see many users are getting a collection of sessions, maybe as they move around screens and such like. We see that their 1st session appears to be locking their 2nd session and this manifests as a screen that freezes with the little ‘processing’ pop-up upon saving a record.We also see one user’s session is locking out another user’s sessionsI wondered if anyone on here has experienced this and if it is possible to manage it We’re on Apps 9 SP11 - 2 X Windows App Servers with 3 X Linux Oracle Database servers. All load balanced 

Afternoon, We have added a custom tick box field on Active Work Order, but when a work order is set to Finished all the information on Active Work Order is removed and recreated in Historical, therefore there is no data for the custom field to refer back to on the Active Work Order as it no longer exists. I was wondering if anyone has overcome this in Apps8? Many thanksHayley

I’m running into an issue where, for employees that need access to many different areas of the system, I receive an error message “maximum of 148 enabled roles exceeded” after assigning additional permission sets to the user account.  This is primarily for a few executive positions in our organization.I thought if I recreated a new permission set with all of my functional roles attached to the end user role, that would take care of the problem but it did not. What’s the best way to handle giving a user account access to the various areas of the system, without using IFSAPP_FULL?

I’ve got an Excel Migration Job that’s giving me fits.  The solution may lie in Excel itself but so far nothing I’ve tried works.  Perhaps it’s not Excel and there is an issue with my migration job.I’m migrating Fixed Assets depreciation distribution detail. Note that the migration job for the distribution header worked without problems. The source Excel file has a column that requires formatting.   Specifically, I’ve used Excel to format leading zeros to 3 positions:  ‘1’ becomes ‘001’, ‘50’ becomes ‘050’, etc.However when I Validate a few lines as a test, IFS migration seems to “see” the values in that formatted column without the formatting: ‘001’ is seen as ‘1’, ‘050’ is seen as ‘50’. I’ve tried every approach and finagle I can think of so I’m here asking for insight.Lucy 

In connect on Apps 7.5, can the default file out path for saving a file to disk be set to something other than related to the root directory of extended server?  In other words a UNC path on another server. Tried a UNC path and it didn’t work.

Hi,I am assisting a customer to set up some monitoring alerts on Ifs application (Apps10).To do this I found we can use the “Foundation1 Monitoring" Task combined with the MONITOR_ENTRY_WARNING event.Have someone already set up this for a customer and if yes for which entries (like invalid objects in database or PLSQL Access Provider) ?Are there other ways to set up alerts from the monitoring console maybe (I am not an expert on this one).Speaking about monitoring console I am searching for a documentation that describes how to plan the cleaning of the application server logs.I heard it is possible to set this up but I don’t know how. It is to share the procedure with the partner who maintains the servers.Thank youFabrice

As I see creating the lobby elements there is possibility to choose negative ranges in mentioned element. But it is not possible to view the value if it is negative. Am I doing something wrong? Or it is standard behaviour of IFS Lobby functionality?

Our company would like to be able to open IFS Enterprise Explorer  links to documents or other objects,  (purchase Reqs, etc)  when the default windows browser is the new version of Microsoft Edge.  This is Version 83.0.478.61 (Official build) (64-bit).   We are running IFS10  update 6.    If IFS is currently open, the links work properly but if IFS is not open, then the link starts IFS and after logging in  takes you to the start page only. With the Chrome browser, we had to install the IFS chrome extension to get these links to work properly,   after installing that extension when IFS Chrome is the default browser the links work all the time.    Is there a similar extension for Edge?    Anyone else run into this issue and come up with  a fix for it?

We have a package that creates summary data into a custom logical unit.   This custom logical unit is used utilized by the lobby list element and the aim is to navigate from this list element to a customer order lines saved search.  The saved search used the following filter:trunc(promised_delivery_date) < trunc(sysdate) and state <> 'Cancelled'  and order_state <> 'Partially Delivered'and customer_no <> 'CA001' and order_no not like 'Y%'and &AO.accounting_period_api.get_accounting_year(&AO.site_api.get_company(contract),promised_delivery_date) = &AO.accounting_period_api.get_accounting_year(&AO.site_api.get_company(contract),site)  The list element navigation is passing the following column values: It looks like the column values above are being ignored as order lines with that are in an earlier period are being displayed. Is there a better way to achieve this.Thank you.

Hello,I created a new JAVA transformer in APPS8. When I try to compile it(without any changes), it throws an error saying some JAR files(Dependencies) are missing. As per E-Learning, I provided added below information in generated-pom.xml to download the dependencies JAR files but Developer studio says “Unknown host gbglcrd10 ”. Please let me know if the URL to download dependencies has been changed. Hiwe are upgrading from IFS8 to IFS10, and noticed RECEIPT_INVENTORY_LOCATION_TAB is dropped from IFS10, also Receipt_inventory_Location_Api along with the screen ‘Modify Pallets on Receipt’.  Guess, this is merged with handling unit any info will be helpful if we need RECEIPT_INVENTORY_LOCATION_TAB information.If there’s any reference/document available for such changes in IFS10 that will be helpful, if i can get the link.Thanks  

HelloSounds v basic though,   Is there a way to set up Tabbing order on IFS pages as per user requirement. For Example, IFS10, Pages Sales Quotation, i would like to Tab out to ‘Sales Qty’ field from ‘Sales Part’ field. At present when user enter sales part number and tab it goes to part description field, i want it to go to Qty field.  Thanks
