Hi,I tried to create project root using _create_project_root.cmd found at BUILD_HOME\source folder.It created project_root\client\runtime folder and copied 508 files, then showed “Stop _create_project_root Error!” on CMD window.Did I get an error? Hi All, We are in the process of creating new BizApi’s for integration project using Dell Boomi. We are on Apps 9 and are deployed on premise.We are trying to create the project root on premise for our vendor and are facing issues. We obtained the latest build home from IFS which contained the _create_project_root.cmd. We installed both Java JDK and Apache ANT. In IFS 10/Aurena on the Change Request Form we had 8 custom bulk/multiline fields set to 500 characters each. Submitting a change request with these filled to that limit was not a problem.It was then requested to increase these to the max allowed, and after looking around, it seemed to be 4000 characters is what we needed to set, due to limits in PL/SQL. Each Custom Field was changed to a 4000 character multiline and when synchronized the database was showing Varchar2(4000) as expected for each.When filling out a new Change Request, and using just 2000 characters in each of the custom fields, an error was thrown and the Aurena debug log window shows the following: 09:49:52 TRACE - DATABASE {"origin":"DB","indentation":"11","time":"94786019","category":"FRAMEWORK","level":"ERROR","type":"Framework","text":"ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small"}09:49:52 ERROR - PL/SQL: (Server Error) numeric or value e

As we are upgrading from IFS8 to IFS10,we need to find and print picklists by customer , In IFS 8 we have following screen, i cannot find anything like that in IFS10, Although we are not using consolidated picklists , I checked and i cannot consolidate picklists by customer no. any one have any idea on how to approach this in IFS10. Thanks 

 Hello: I have 2 questions about IFS Time Tracker 9 app. Some background of our IFS environment and TAS. We are currently on IFS Apps 9. We are using the TAS version: IFS Touch Apps Server 1.15.1.672 Time Tracker 9 app version: 2.1 1.  What is the time out for this app (in minutes)? and Where can we configure this?  How do I disable Allow Multiple Devices? In Solution Man/ Touch Apps/ Admiration/ Applications - "Allow Multiple Devices" checkbox is enabled for this app. We would like to disable this. Currently for Time Tracker/ App version 2.1, the Mobile Error handling is set to Client. What is the significance in this and what does it do? How do we change this value? ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ 

HelloI want to log history on the ‘Notes’ in Customer Master ‘Invoice’ Tab. I can’t seems to be successful. Any ideas how to get these Notes in History Log Please. IFS8So far i logged history on tables, 'IDENTITY_INVOICE_INFO_TAB' ,'FIN_NOTE_TEXT_TAB','IDENTITY_NOTE_TAB'IDENTITY_NOTE_TAB does not seems to work. any ideas how can i get customer number, and latest update on note from history_log_tab , history_log_attribute_tab  tables 

We have a lobby by week that is not sorting the MM/DD date correctly since it treats it as text.Can we:1.) change it to a Date (didn’t work in the DataSource) so it sorts/orders correctly.2.) Add a leading zero to single-digit months and days.

I created a custom API that returns one of two values (let’s say ‘0’ and ‘1’). It needs to run every four hours. If the value is ‘0’, then an email needs to go out.While I don’t need help with creating the database task and scheduling it to run, I don’t know how to then get an email to send. Do I make an Event? If so, how do I tie it to the scheduled task? Do I do something else??Let’s assume the Scheduled Task is named “Neraks_Amazing_Task”.Thanks!    

We use IFS10Update6, and have several operational reports that we utilize SSRS for.  I needed to make a change to a couple of these reports, but as of this morning, IFS Data Source is no longer available in Visual Studio (version 19) as an embedded connection type.  I can’t refresh fields on my datasets, and I would imagine this would affect other aspects of report development and deployment as well. I hadn’t made any changes to the Visual Studio software, though I updated the software to see if it fixed the problem, which it did not.  Any ideas on what could cause this to happen and/or potential solutions?  Thank you in advance.

Hi Community, I need to restrict access to the different nodes in the Aurena navigator.For example, only managers should see the Manager services node in the Human Capital Management.What I noted is that all sub menus under Human Capital management is connected to the client PersonNavigator. When the projection PersonNavigator is granted to the user, all the nodes connected to it are shown regardless user has access.How can we hide the navigator items users are not suppose to see? Regards,Krish

Hello,We have a need to prevent users from cancelling lines that are reserved in customer orders.I thought we had the solution but are stuck with one issue.We created the following Event -  We then created the corresponding Event Action that throws and error when a Customer Order line is cancelled with 1 of our 2 reasons or no reason. This works exactly as intended on a custom order. The issue that we are running into is if a user RMBs on an order line, selects Manual Reservations and tries to undo the manual reservation before cancelling they get stopped by the error that is meant to block the cancellation of an order line with status of Reserved on the customer order.

Is Oracle 19c support for RAC officially certified now?Per the online documentation it still show that 19c RAC is not supported for either Apps9 or Apps10.  Is this correct?  It looks like the page is very out of date.We are currently running RAC on 12c for both Apps9 and Apps10 and are in the process of migrating to 19c for support reasons.Can someone either point me to an updated reference or copy/paste into here if it is something I cannot see as a customer?Thanks!Nick

I recently configured a new permission set, and applied it to a user, but the Lobby shows a “data not found” message: In the Permission Set > Presentation Objects by Component, under IFS Base Functionality > Lobby - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE #TODAY# is selected. However, in Presentation Objects by Navigator Lobby Overview is revoked. I can't figure out the data element I need to grant to get the lobby in view.    I did remove the user’s personal profile, and base profile just to see if that had any impact, and it did not.    Anyone have any ideas as to what Permission Set detail affects the lobby view?   Thanks!

Dear community. I’d like to create a custom event that will be triggered if someone attempts to perform an action that is not allowed by the PLSQL rules. I will use Error_SYS.Record_General to display an error message and perform a hard stop. I would like to be able to also trigger an email at this point to a user to let them know that someone tried to perform the action. The problem i am finding is that the Error_SYS.Record_General stops the commit transaction and also the email that is generate by COMMAND_SYS.Mail. I was thinking of using exception handling etc to get this to work but so far have been unable to. Same goes for creating a second event action, since the Error_sys stops the transaction this didnt appear to work for me either. Anyone have any bright ideas?Many thanks,David.
