MAIL SENDER SETTINGS 365 (Apps 7.5)

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has setup outlook 365 in Apps 7.5? I am receiving the attached error when trying to send a test email. The mail server is hosted externally and there is no internal mail server available so I am just wondering what the fix is? Regards, Gary

Print Job Error

I am running a Deferred_Call within an event that is creating a new print job for another operational report. I then have setup a report rule to print that report. Everything prints fine expect Im getting this error message in the background job from that custom api call. Is there anyway to prevent these error messages? I have moved the api call to different batch queues but it is still triggering. Do I need to keep extending the time? “Unable to register new print job. The same report is already being processed in print job [ ]. Please allow more time for it to finish. ORA-20110: PrintJobContents.ALREADYIN

Language-Error in Aurena

Hi together We are facing an issue with languages in Aurena. It works well with IEE, but our customer needs to use Aurena. So you can see our 4 languages, but not select them. If you pick any language German, Frensh or Italian and saves, it still stays English in Aurena after logging-in again. You can also see only 1 language (English) by creating a “New Company”. All background-jobs are running well. Main & Int Cluster are running well.I restarted MWS. Tried the IFS-Reconfigure a few times.. but the language-issue still exists. Custom Event not working (Customer Order)

We have a custom event on the Customer Order that doesn’t appear to be working. Where are the EDI schemas stored in Apps 10?

Can someone please tell me where the Schema’s are located for EDI documentation. In Apps 8 they were stored in the following path that is no longer in Apps10:Open IFS Applications2. Navigate to IFS Solution Manager/Integration/Interface Browser/By Module/Internet Transaction Services/BizApi's 3. Click on the BizAPI name you need a schema file for 4. Then, at the very top of the window, select the pull-down menu which currently displays "General Information", and then select 'Request XSD Schema'."

We are trying to get IFS 10 Update 10 to log into our Exchange 2016 server to send emails instead of just anonymously relaying the messages. Would anybody be willing to share how they got this working? We are receiving error messages like “Unable to convert socket to TLS” and “Unsupported or unrecognized SSL message”

Hello together,I’m trying to use the “Page help” at any page from Aurena . But somehow I'm always getting directed to a blank page: Using IEE it works as expected: As you see, it works well with IEE. IFS Cloud user

We are implementing IFS Apps 10 Upd9 on cloud managed services.We are told by cloud support that for document management the default standard is the Oracle DB storage. How much storage space is reserved for documents in that case? With the use of the B2B portal and distribution of documents via B2B there are several hundred Terrabytes required. I’m not sure the Oracle DB storage is designed for this. Are there any other options (Azure Blob/File Storage, Shared Drive, etc) ? I’m being pointed to https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/CloudOperations/SitePages/Apps-Integrations.aspx What user do I need to have to access the IFS sharepoint? again .. I’m on the customer side.

IFS 810 xml to Ansi x12

Has anyone had experience in using an IFS transformer to transform IFS 810 xml document to ansi x12 810 document? We have a customer that does not accept xml EDI documents. We have attempted to create a transformer using Altova Mapforce in the java language. When using the transformer we are getting a nondescript error. Looking through the documentation, it appears the .jar file created from Mapforce needs to be used as a dependent in a new Developer Studio Project. However, when attempting to follow these instructions, it appears quite a bit of information is missing from the “step-by-step” instructions.

SQL/Quick Report: How to Add Work Days to a Date

We have a quick report where we’d like to add 2 business days (exclude the weekends) to the CustomerOrder DateEntered.We usually do this but this includes weekends- is there a date function that skips Saturday and Sunday?I’m familiar with work_time_calendar_api.get_work_days_between() but don’t see how that can do the above.

Oracle 12c, APPS9 & Memory Management (AMM Or Not)

We are running APPS9 with Oracle 12c standard edition.about & months ago we moved away from Auto memory Management and set max values for memory on our Oracle Environment.We have 128 G set aside for our VM oracle Db with 3 prod instances, each of which are allocated 28G each.I’ve been seeing 1 of the instances use up to 27G while the others bounce between 20-24G.What are the advantages, disadvantages of using Oracle AMM and why would you want to limit RAM to an oracle instance when not using AMM? Problem with installation Update 10 for IFS 10

I have a problem with Update 10 for IFS 10. Installation is complete, but partially. RAM of 40GB has been increased, free disk space is available. The installation was repeated. Lobby Element Designer Form Mapping

Greetings,I know that Form Mapping will be used to display Lobby Element on the certain (associated form).However, there is no documentation available to explain how we can create Lobby Element and associate the Lobby Element to Mapped to Forms. I came conclusion that the Mapped to Forms are only possible for the Lobby Elements that were created by RnD only. Am I correct?Hopefully IFS R&D / IFS Employee would give a comment on this subject since this question has been posted 1 year ago and until today there is no response from IFS. Aurena Server error

We’re running Apps 10 Update 10 and after a Linux update to one of our dev instance Oracle database server, we’re getting the dread “Server Error” when trying to log into Aurena. The other 2 instances received the same back end patch to their Oracle db servers and are working fine. There is nothing definitive in any of the wls_domain/<instance>/servers logs and I’m not sure where else to look. According to the https://:port/admin middleware forms all the deployments are green. Any idea where else I can look for the cause of this error. This dev environment worked without issue before the db server upgrade and IEE works fine.

Hi,In the case f my customer, It was agreed to set up juste one Base Profile and have the possibility to use Personnel Profile by users.After starting, severel personalizations have been stored in the Base profile by administrator, and in the Personnel Profile by the users.The problem, when the customer decides the retroacvtivity on a personalization of Base Profile.Case: making a field non mandatory, initially this field was made mandatory in the Base Profil. When applying this Base profile again, the modification is not visible to some users, bacause they had made some personalizations on the same window, stored in the Personnel Profil, because by definition, and as standard, it is the Personal Profile that takes precedence (which have priority). Have you any solutions for this case? than you in advance for your help.Ouahiba
