End users getting Error 400 or Error 502 using IFS Cloud

Some end users are getting Error 400 and Error 502 when opening an additional tab with IFS Cloud in both Edge and Chrome.This is now happening to more users. They have cleared browser history/cache to no avail.Is there anyone that has had similar issues like this in Cloud?Br hans

Configuring Separate External URL for B2B Access in APPS10

Hi Experts, I'm currently working on configuring a separate external URL for B2B access in the APPS10 environment. I have tried several approaches, but none have been successful so far.The requirement is to have two separate URLs: one for intercompany user access and another dedicated only to external B2B access. The goal is to create a separate URL for B2B access without exposing the internally defined URL.Has anyone implemented a similar setup? If so, could you please share how it was configured?

Application Messages Response

Hi, In application message the state can be ‘Finished’ , there is no error text but when you click the message and right click, and view message response and if there nothing then you know it was fine but if there is a txt file to view then at that point you know there was an issue with the post. Is there a better way of monitoring it?ThanksRoss

Cloud 23R1 - How to check a users last login date/time

We have an audit requirement which requires to report the last login date and time for a user in IFS. In APPS8 we could get this information from the SERVER_LOG_TAB using the log category “IFS Sessions’. However, IFS cloud does not have this category as a server log parameter.There are some details in the IAM_LOGIN_EVENT_DETAIL_TAB but seems like it does not keep the long-term history of sessions.Can you advise how to get this data recorded and retrieved on demand?

Is there a way to turn off the standard ‘PDF report’ email action and use only the custom action?

Hello IFS Community,I created a custom event action, PDF_REPORT_CREATED, and it is working properly according to the request. However, the standard IFS action is also being triggered, causing the recipient to receive two emails.Does anyone have advice or ideas on how to disable the default IFS action? I am specifically referring to the NCR.   Thank you,

Permissions Error on External File Assistant - File Type is not available

To experts,The customer is using IFS 8.Can you tell us what kind of impact this will have on IFS in the following situation? 1. Application behavior when packet drops occur during TCP-based communication• Application-side tolerance for retransmission, delay, and session maintenance• Conditions under which timeouts, retries, or disconnections occur at the application layer 2. FND_ADMIN permission set and supplier template creation IFS10

Hi!We noticed a problem with with permission when creating new suppliers with supplier template for finance users. It works only for the default company. Adding this FND_ADMIN permission seems to fix that problem but it is other way gives them permissions they would not need. Now I would need some help to identify what part of the permissions should be added to admins that they could hadle also other companies than just default one?

IFS Print agent windows server is not starting 24R1

Hi Guys,My IFS cloud dot net print agent service is not starting. what could be the reason?Service start failing  MonitoringLog  Windows service has been created with a service user in the local admin group Print agent folder access has been set by executing the powershell script IAM client is enabled and configured correctly with the secret. Regenerate secret did not work as well  Print agent installed VM can reach the IFS URL without any network issues IFS pods are in healthy state BATCH2 queue is enabled and having executions in parallel mode setTIA

How MPCCOM_ACCOUNTING could be connected to Inventory Transaction ID?

Community, In Inventory Transaction History window, we can see accounting information in Accounting tab. We would like to create a report that show not only inventory transaction ID but also the accounting info. when I am browsing the file MPCCOM_ACCOUNTING that are under tab Accounting, I don’t see any data column could be the keys that can be linked with inventory transaction, e.g. Transaction ID, Site, Part No…. how we could make this report? any idea?

custom attribute boolean default fallback other entity custom attribute value

Hello,Here is the pattern I want to follow:I have a custom field of type enum (boolean) in the CustomerInfo entity named “regrouping nrc.”I have the same custom attribute, with the same name, in the CustomerOrder entity.What I want is for the value of the custom attribute from CustomerInfo to be selected by default.The problem is that I can’t set a default value by logic (PL/SQL) for an enum (boolean) type.It works for strings, but I need to keep the page design with a switch button, so I can’t use a string type.I could create a custom enum with a default value like null, which would allow me to trigger it by event and fall back on the CustomerInfo attribute. That would work, but we’re afraid that users might ignore this attribute when creating an order, which could lead to errors at the end of the process, especially for customer invoicing.If you have any ideas on how to implement a fallback default value for a boolean, please share them 🤙Have a good day,

Hello everyone,I try to add a navigation link between Shop Floor Workbench page and NRC Connection Objects page.The search parameter is the keyref of the nrc connection page, which contains Contract and PartNo (available from Workbench page), like : (startswith(tolower(KeyRef),'contract=vern^partno=ac130m39403'))The problem is I’m not able in any way to make it workIf I use the variables as filter value, it will add simple quote ( ‘ ) as prefixe and suffixe of the value, which break the search syntax.Like : (startswith(tolower(KeyRef),'contract=’vern’^partno=’ac130m39403'’))I can’t make a search by contract and by partNo because partNo is not available as search / filter on the NRC Connection pageIs there a way to make this link works ?

Bulk update user passwords in IFS cloud

Hi Guys,In IFS cloud versions since there are no database end users what’s the workaround to update end users manually?Use case is we have a customer who has recently upgraded to IFS cloud 22R1 and they are having 1000+ users who need to access the environment. Instead of changing passwords from the application user window one by one wondering is there an easy method of doing this.TIA

Significant REST API Performance Degradation after IFS Cloud 25R1 Release Update

Dear All,Following our IFS Cloud (remote deployment) release update from 23R2 to 25R1, we are experiencing severe performance degradation with our REST API integrations.Specifically, GET REST API call that previously took approximately 5 seconds on 23R2 is now consuming 2 minutes or more on 25R1. Our initial debugging indicates the primary bottleneck is within Oracle AQ, with DBMS_AQ.DEQUEUE operations exhibiting significant delays.Has anyone else encountered this specific issue after upgrading to IFS Cloud 25R1?

ifsapp-connect pod

Hi, We had issue with constantly restarting POD ifsapp-connect, which caused a lot of issues in system. For example if our ifsapp-connect had restart our EDI orders was not proceed. We increased number of replicas to 2 and for now it seems all okay, but when I monitor our environment I can see that there are restart also but without any issues for example with EDI. For now I have questions:Why is it caused that those pods are still restarting? If POD has been restarted we should delete it and let it get up again? How we can see what happening and what is the cause of restart on this certain pod?

Converting Crystal Reports into Report Studio

Hi,We have set of crystal operational reports and are planning to convert them into new Report Studio layouts in cloud. Most of these crystals are having multiple views connected along with a REP view. But the problem is, in Report Studio layouts, we cannot connect multiple views and allows only the REP view.What is the best method to achieve this instead of overtaking the standard RDF?​@dsj any ideas?ThanksRoshanga

Updating WO pre postings using a workflow

Hi,I'm trying to add preposting details to a work order using a workflow (we're currently performing this process manually through an assistant). When I check the projection call for adding a preposting, it appears as shown below.I attempted to add an IFS API type user task in the workflow, but I wasn't able to find any entity set or projection call that can be used to add preposting to a work order.Is it possible to perform the actions currently done through assistants using a workflow?Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini
