How to capture a form value before save for the custom field? I have a requirement that user would like to see read only custom field for quarantine quantity (on hand qty - reserved qty) on requisition lines while entries a part_no before save (after tab). Cloud you please help me how to fulfill this requirement?  

Hi, For some reason it’s not possible to show negative values in the link list element I’m trying to make. In my Data Source it’s possible to extract a negative value. However, it’s not possible to get the value shown in the Link List element. If I re write the expression so it’s a positive value, it’s able to be shown.I tried currency, decimal , number options in the data source but none is showing this particular negative value in the lobby. When new Lobby page is created, user cannot se it without granting page to the user.We need to use the workaround given which is ,1. Log on as end user with permission to create Lobby (projection LobbyConfiguration, lobbyDatasourceConfiguration, and LobbyElementConfiguration are granted to end user permission set)2. create new Lobby page3. directly after save, an error is presented: "Cannot load Page"4. go to "Permission Set" details page, add this new lobby page to permission set that the end user have5. back to Lobby overview and try to find this new Lobby page - still same error ( "Cannot load Page")6. log off and log on again7. This new lobby page is now available and you can add elements to it8. (did not tested to create new element and use it directly, will probably end up in same problem until this new element is granted) Will there be a fix in the future release to replace this workaround ? if so when will it be . 

Hi all,Hopefully someone can help me with the challenge I'm having.I have a lobby counter element that shows me requisition lines that should be approved. There are additional filters for project ID, sub project ID and cost center in the lobby. This lobby element navigates to the "Purchase Requisition Line Authorization” window in IFS. That is where the issue comes up. When navigating to this window, using the datasource condition isn't working. Personally I think because there are two levels of filtering possible in this window:  Now my question. Is it possible to filter on this second level in the window when navigating from the element? So if I filter on project ID 1008 in my lobby page that it filters on the project ID on this second level in this window I'm navigating to.  Because this filtering seems to be on another level I can't find a way to built the URL which includes these filters. Does anyone know how to make a parameter mandatory? By default they are all optional. Also, is there a way to set a default value for a parameter? Lastly, is there IFS documentation or a manual on details like this? I’ve seen IFS pages that have general  info, but nothing on technical details like the above or what else is doable/possible. I have created an lobby element which shows me which sub contract valuations are certified but not paid. The issue I am having is it will not allow me to add an alias on the view and I am 99% sure you was able to do this.For example, here is my definition and I want to add the alias ‘a’ so it knows in my select statement to use the sub_con_no and valuation_no from the subval_invoice_details view.I am using ifs apps 10, update 15. Thank you

Hello,I have created Known Host file and Identity file.The SFTP server authenticates by using private public key pair and the public key is sent to the 3rd party to setup, and when I try to login to SFTP server using WinSCP i get an error saying “SFTP Server Refused our Key”.Is there a way to overcome this issue.I have converted the private key using PuTTY Gen for testing (.ppk format) and have used it.Also, I have provided passphrase and username and password., but when I enter password, the above error is encountered.Regards,Thej

Hello, I would like to know if it possible to create a command that launches a migration job?My client, who is a buyer, needs to create a text file format document with some specific parameters (specific date of creation of the command, for purchase orders that are authorized and with “release” status, with a specific supplier).However, as it is recommended to give access to data migration jobs to someone not being part of the IT department, I would like to create a command on the “purchase orders” screen that would launch the migration job when the command is clicked on by the buyer.I can’t automatize it because the buyer needs to check every purchase order made by the 600 sites belonging to the company, cancel some orders, before generating this txt file.Could someone tell me if it possible ? Thanks in advance,Laura

Hi, can somone tell me how we can adjust the row height/whitening between rows? We see a lot of white space between rows, which might be needed for tablets but not on PC’s. Can we fix this? Thanks!

Hello everyone I am having a custom page which must only be read only . but currently it has options for adding and editing . I tried checking the permission sets . but not sure about it . and if I give the read only grants to the projection of that custom page . it does not change anything in that page . what should I do to change the page to read only . Please guide me with this .

There are 5 Use Place environments.Three environments  have already installed IFS Cloud using Buildhome of 21R2.Additionally, after about 5 deliveries, we have updated the environment and the current version is 22R1.Plan1:I plan to install Buildhome on the remaining two.Should I install 21R2's Buildhome and deliver 5 times?Plan2:I want the version to be 22R1 in one delivery.Create Buildhome for 22R2 with "Recreate Buildhome".Install 22R2's Buildhome for these two environments.is there a problem?

Hello Having an Issue with SSL certificates with IFS 10. We use 3rd party wildcard certificates from a root CA. The certs are valid and used many places. We are not able to update the certificate on our existing IFS 10 Application server. Even though we are able to successfully run the reconfiguration with the new cert, and it IFS states the certificate will be updated and the reconfigure concludes successfully, the SSL cert is not updated. Brian

Hi allFor some time ago, it was possible to find a list over what components, servers, windows versions etc that was certified to run your version of IFS. Where can I find such a list now ? I am asking since we, after installing UPD15, experience trouble in Aurena, when saving registered data. Since I can not find any changes in what should have been granted, I wonder if it is Edge that can be the problem …..

One of our customers has configured the Intermec PC43t through Print Agent, but while printing from either IFS Application or Handheld device they are not able to print in Portrait format. Is anyone using Intermec PC43t printer for label printing? Has anyone experienced similar issue before?  What are the recommended printers for label printing using IFS application?
