We are trying to add links to Power BI reports on some of our lobbies. We can add the link but when we click on it to navigate to the report, it will not load. We get the little yellow bars like it’s trying to load but never does.
Has anyone successfully added a link to PO to their lobby.
We’re on Apps10 UPD16 - Working on IEE lobbies.
Can you post one of the links and how you are creating it in your lobby. I have found that sometimes the lobby is very sensitive to extraneous data.
We use the Custom URL and then the URL box not the Web Access URL Address box. We are only going to internal addresses though. Nothing external.
Something like the following.
http://webtest01/shopoverview/pagename.aspx?&FirstParam=ShopOrderOv.aspx&SecondParam=50POL
If you have spaces you may need to replace them with %20.
We are accessing PowerBI Services Apps https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/ so it is outside our firewall.
Well if it is outside your firewall then that is potentially the issue. You are probably either running into firewall restrictions on your server or your data center or just missing certificates on the application server.
