Is there a place to set in FSM that an email notification should not send until all reports set to attach are generated. By default, if the report is slow to generate, the email will send without the attachment.

Noticed that the mm_message_out table which contains mobile messages doesn't seem to get cleaned up. What process does the actual cleanup of the mm_message_out table?
It has been noticed in a few setups where there has been performance issues with FSM that turning off the activity feed greatly improves performance. These cases have been where the activity feed is on its default settings as it was not being used. Is there a more elegant solution to prevent the excessive use of processing by the activity feed than just switching it off. Would it be considered to have the activity feed to require setup as well as being activated to ensure that systems do not end up with these default settings that appear to be resource hungry? Any other additional information on how the activity feed processes would also be helpful. Thanks in advance. Lee
I am attempting to re-initialize a mobile device from the Mobile Dashboard screen (Mobile Dashboard > Right click on device > “Initialize Device”) which works - the INIT messages gets pushed to the mobile device, the mobile device initializes and everything works until you log out. After logging out on the mobile app, when you try to log in next (using the same password as before initializing) the app says the password is invalid. No changes have been made to the person record, nothing done except “Initialize Device”

When a task is committed in PSO, it is taking too long (sometime upto 15-20 min) to reflect in PSO.This has been a issue since day 1 of FSM and PSO implementation in TDC. Normally it takes around 3-4 min to reflect in PSO but after 2,3 days it is getting very slow (it is taking 15-20 min) that users are unable to work on and completely stand still condition coming for them and at the same time we are experiencing slowness in FSM also, then if we are restarting the gateway services and after that it is becoming normal again (it is taking 3-4 min) and FSM also becoming normal. So the story is that in general it is normal slow (3-4 min) but after 2, 3 days it is becoming abnormally slow (15-20 min). There is something happening in PSO services, which is giving this slowness and after the restart it is becoming normal again. We have priority 2 Incident running for this issue and as a workaround we have planned to restart the gateway service in every alternate day to improve the performance

I am new to FSM, when we have a Person, we can define Places connected to this person. In Place record, we can also connect persons to it. Why we need to define it in two places? What are the difference between those two connections?

RUnning FSM 5.7 (UPD 7) Looking for a way to track user interaction with the system. Within the User record we can see when they logged in and last logged out but we need more. They could be logged in but IDLE all day and not actually working. Any suggestions on how we could pull this data or track it?
I’m trying to write an expression in a business rule that checks the currently logged in user (User_log_in.person_id) against a team table. However, the team table is not a “related table” to the one used in the rule. Can an expression reference a table that the business rule/process is not related to?

When having an additional resource for a task (task screen > resource tab) how does that alerts the technician he has been added as an additional resource not a main responsible ? Since as it seems currently the task gets displayed to their devices in the to do list and not able to distinguish among main jobs and additional jobs? Also is there a way we could freeze the job for the additional resource until authorized to work on it?.
The business rule input validation TASK.TASK_ID EQUAL some table and column in VALUE_TABLE_NAME and VALUE_COLUMN_NAME field doesn’t work. I am expecting it would verify if the new task_id exists in the VALUE_COLUMN_NAME of VALUE_TABLE_NAME. Is it wrong expectation?
When it tries to login to the FSM 5.7 Mobile, it shows an error message as “UserNotAuthforDev”. No body can login to Mobile client. it works. but suddenly face this issue
