FSM6u7 mx_u - Recommendation on truncation timing

Hi,

Can anyone share a best practice recommendation on how long the mx_u records should be retained for and if there is any value in archiving the data purged from the db.

Hi @RiSpence,

There are several posts discussing this table, its function and truncation requirements in the Community already. One example would be:

In essence it is used only by the Analyse Usage functionality in FSM which is for investigation of issues when encountered. If that functionality is not used then it is not needed at all. I would feel there is very little benefit in archiving the information as, if its old enough to be archived, the issues you would be investigating would be long gone by that point.
