Hi Experts, We recently had an issue with our Microsoft email account that we use for notification distribution for IFS FSM. System Admins changed the password for the account and now our connection is broken. Can someone tell me where this connection or password is used/stored in IFS? 

Is there an available document/resource that lists all of the PSO administration Event ID numbers and their details?

Hello, our customer wants to use the filter options in PSO and see for example only the resources for a certain city. But if he wants to fix an activity to a resource, than all resources appear, not only those for the specified city in the filter. e.g.:  Even if I use a filter and I see on the gantt only the resources from a certain city, in ,,Fix to resource”, the dispatcher can choose from all resources from the country. Is there a way to be able to fix to resource according to the filter used? Thank you very much,Iulia

Hi, We have some users looking to migrate from Smart Client to Web Client. One piece of feedback we have had is that on some screens the ‘New’ button isn’t present on the search area. Meaning they have to go into a record to get the option to create a new record. The above screen shot is from the baseline version of the Purchase Order screen. The New button is present when the screen appears. But when we use a screen we have configured previously the New button isn't there.Is there a simple control for this in the UI Designer, or is that controlled by a Script?Any help is greatly appreciated.RegardsAdy

Hi Experts, For PSO users, breaks are appearing in the PSO Workbench unexpectedly. However, in the cloud end, no breaks have been assigned to this user in terms of resource availability, nor have any task templates been designated.How are these breaks being generated for this user, and what steps can be taken to remove them?   

HiIs there any provision or UI field in PSO to identify if the task/activity is dispatched automatically by PSO or manually dispatched by any user in PSO?The same details can be seen in FSM, differentiating a manual or auto dispatch from PSO rather than simply showing  IFS_PSO as created by?This will help in identifying the issues related to dispatch at later point of time. 

Hi Experts,I want to create Escalation from IFS FSM mobile app directly without creating it from debrief workflow (i.e. not from request, task). So is there any way I can do that currently whenever trying to do that it is asking for a workflow to be entitled (debrief, quote).  So far, I’ve created an Escalation screen but there is no way of creating Escalation from there.

Hi 😊,kindly request your assistance with an intermittent issue currently experienced in the customer's environment.Customer environment: IFS CLOUD 23.2.2This ID: 7623 which is in accepted status in PSO is related to WT 5682 which is in released status.The customer address line was empty and therefore, added an address line.When the addressline is added This ID: 7623 in PSO which is in accepted status has turned to - -1 (which should be with (WO No - Task No - 1)To fix this, attempt to add a resource line deleting the previous line and it is not allowed.Attempt to cancel the accepted assignment and it is not allowed since it is transferred to mobile.We would conclude that attempting the address line modification during the 'Allocated' state or before allocation could prevent this issue from occurring.But there is another example when the PSO is turning to allocated state:Here, ID No: 14194  Task No: 8781 in PSO is in allocated state and allocations are not available in scheduling infor

Hello Experts,I've created a new scheduling dataset, but I'm facing an issue where resources are not being displayed in PSO WB. However, the resource is available, and shifts are also defined in audit files.  Even when I send a work task with location and resource demand lines, the activities are not displayed in PSO WB, although they can be seen in audits.  Could there be something missing in the configuration or setup that's causing this discrepancy? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!  

We want to sort FSM client fields on some screens.  Example: ‘Product’ screen has a section in the workspace called Service History where we show information from the Request table that is related to the Product.  Currently it is sorted by Request Id, but we would want this sorted by the Request create_dttm.I looked in UI Designer at the properties for this field but did not see an option to sort.  See attached screenshot of the Product screen.

We have two PSO environments, one for testing and one for production. Our test environment has the correct US date format of month/day/year but our production environment is displaying day/month/year. We’re not sure why the production environment is incorrect or how to fix it. It doesn’t look like any parameter or permission to set for the format we need to use?PRODUCTION (incorrect): TESTING (correct):We are using the same web browser to display both environments. HI All,i am facing an issue with below mass update xml. xml is created  to update task status as Missed and closed for  ETL  period over tasks. Hi All, I know you can peg a Work Task Material Line to a Purchase Order (either by New Purchase Requisition Line or manually after creation of the PO wher you can use ‘Manual pegging of work Order Material Line’). But can you also peg a Work Task Material Line to a Shop Order? On a CO you can use ‘Supply Code’ = ‘Shop order’ or ‘DOP’ to create a connection between CO and SO. But on the Work Task, thge only options you have for Supply Code is ‘Invent order’ or ‘Project Inventory’. The option ‘New Purchase Requisition Line’ is not helpfull because the part in question is not a purchase part but a manufactured part. But we want it pegged to avoid that the WO requested part will be used for production of wholesale goods. As long as it is not pegged/reserved, there is a chance  by MRP would see it as an available part. Best RegardsRoel

Hello, I have asked this question before but I would like to get final confirmation that IFS Cloud does not currently support the ability to schedule workflows to get run. Workflows can only be run via an event action or projection action. Is this correct? Everything else is a work around that IFS Cloud is not intended to do.  Thanks,Bryan

Hi All, Since working with APPS10 I have always worked with ‘Work Orders’, ‘Service Contracts’, ‘Work Task Templates’ and ‘Service Quotations’. But currenlty I’m now learning more about the ‘Request Management’ section using ‘Requests’, ‘Request Contracts’, ‘Standard Tasks’/’Service Catalog’ and ‘Request Quotations’.  And allthough there are some differences in approach to both, there are also a lot of similarities. So I am beginning to wonder about the reason why both functionalities exist next to each other. So could anybody try to explain a few things for me:What is the biggest functional difference between “Request management” functionality and “Work Order” functionality? What are decisive factors to use on or the other? Would there be any use-cases where a business would use both next to each other? What is on the roadmap for these 2 modules.I have read the ‘About’ pages on the IFS Help but that doesn’t give me much additional info on the different use cases for both scenarios. Fo
