Hi, I was working on modifying the Baseline placelookup screen,i saw the new button has an popupAddEdit name,I understand that this signifies it will open a popup and i could see the individual elements present in the xml file for the screen as well.But the individual elements that appear in the screen are not present in the UI designer.So how do we modify the fields that appear on the pop or is it an seperate screen

Performance drop in the initial load of Contract lines window when here are 1000+lines

I had recently investigated a performance issue in the contract window of FSM 6 UPD11.This occurs when there are more than 1000 records in the lines tab.When we navigate to the contract window and select the lines tab it took more than 1 minute to load the relevant data. If we navigate to another tab and comes back again to the lines tab it will load within 4-5 seconds.I had executed the relevant hierarchy SQL in XML poster and it provide the result within 4-5 s.Page size is set to 25, still no luck.Please share your ideas on why it might slow on the first instance, and only when navigating for the first time to lines tab.

Post to invoice when request status changes to close

Hi.When a request becomes closed, there is a button called “Post to invoice” on the invoice tab under requests.How can I run that automatically so that the user does not have to click on it, but instead make it execute when request status becomes closed?Someone suggested a business rule using xml. Is there a simpler way of executing the script attached to the button? Or an app parameter that could be set to do this? I am not that well versed in xml, so if I need to use the business rule method, how would I pass the parameters needed into the xml?

Contract PM Schedule

Hi, When we renewal a contract it resets the schedule as some of our clients have specific scheduling, that is done through out the year and not when the contract is renewed, is it possible to have that the schedule dates are the same day and month as previous just the year changes ?

Task Schedule 'Run application Server task' for quick report returning "No Data Found"

Hi all, I hope someone will be able to help me. In IFS Application 9 I have a quick report saved (working fine when viewing in IFS), permissions granted, application server task created as per below: Database task as per below:Scheduled Task as per below: Database Background job is running fine: However when I get my report which I have just scheduled as IFS APP is empty (NO DATA FOUND). As you can see below (just few bits) the report is running fine in IFS.I have also noticed that this is not only report which suddenly started to show “No Data Found”. We have few now for some reason and I can’t really work it out why this would be happening? Hope someone can help or advise. Thank you Kind Regards Kate

A customer has already information about their infraestructure (pipelines, for example) and they would like to display that information in the map view in PSO. Is there a way to do it? If so, can PSO do something with that data or is only for visualization?

PM Request Generation - No Tasks Generated

Can anyone please give me some insight on how the PM Request Generation works internally? We have a PM plan loaded, that has been running quite happily for 6 months. We release tasks gradually, 4 weeks at a time. We last released them up until August 15th, but now, trying to release up to Septemeber 12th yields no Requests/tasks. Yes, there are tasks ready to be released for this time period, and all the tasks were originaly loaded at the same time and are attached to the same PM_Sequence. What would cause them to suddenly not release? I have turned the logging levels up, but nothing really showing in there, no exceptions are recieved. I can see a query being run on ‘contr_autogen_view’ that retrieves nothing. There is also a query in the Log looking for errors (SELECT MESSAGE_ID, LOCALE_CODE, MESSAGE_TYPE, MESSAGE_TEXT from METRIX_MESSAGE_DEF_VIEW where MESSAGE_ID = 'InvalidXMLRequest' and MESSAGE_TYPE = 'ERROR' and LOCALE_CODE = 'EN-GB') but this does not return anything when i

Capturing a value from a json response of an FSM outbound call

Hi experts,BackgroundI am trying to make an authenticated call to an external resource from FSM. The authentication used is OAuth2 and the the data consumed and returned is in json. I initially attempted this using a routing rule with OAuth2ExtractHandler and JsonOutboundConnector, which is not working as the token extraction fails (I raised this here) . Now I’m trying a different approach.I make a dummy map to create a call to the authentication endpoint to retrieve the token. Then I store the token as a custom app param. I use the above custom param (which bears the token) to send authorized calls to resources. ProblemI created the dummy map and routing rule as following, This successfully gets the authentication token as following, I created a custom app param and I’m trying to save the above retrieved token as the param value below I tried the following approaches,1. FSM6u8 Andoid App Initialisation

When trying to activate an Android device via an Emulator, it is not downloading the database. We have observed in the SmartClient, that whilst trying to activate the device the “METRIX” user account keeps getting locked out. However, we can’t see any any reference in the Web.Config file (for FSM6u8) but, in out production which is currently on FSM5.7.2, we can clearly see the password in that file. Where is the password setup within FSM6u8? The Android Mobile FSM app seems to be trying to access it with the wrong password as we changed it from the default in our production environment.
