Hi,

Hopefully a straightforward question:

Does the automatic rota generation process consider existing shifts when trying to meet requirements and rules or only the period the rota generation is taking place over?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

It should consider any existing shifts already planned within the rota period that you are generating for (and generate new shifts around those already generated). For rules it should also be considering activities planned outside the generation period, though it’s possible there could be issues with this - if you think there is please raise a case for us.

Thanks,

Paul
